Jim was very straight forward and the price was very fair. I needed to have my Catalytic converter replaced. And it was done same day. I recommend this place! But keep in mind he does walk ins. No appointments.

I was told it was going to cost $4000 to get my wife's car fixed at Baxter. Hit these guys up and they Fixed it for $140 in 40 minutes. These guys are the REAL DEAL!! Thank you guys for being so great at your job and for helping us get back on the road.

I ve heard many great things about Ace, but was pretty let down for what i paid for a cat-back that didn't have mufflers.I took my car in for a cat-back, knowing i don't have my rear o2 sensors hooked up.(waiting on cable extensions) The guy opening shop was kind of condescending when we were discussing what i wanted.I tried to look passed that from all the good things I've heard. Today was the first day i drove my car since(been about 2 weeks). Sitting in my works parking lot i noticed a couple puddles under my car. Because my o2 sensors aren't hooked up I'm dumping unburned fuel into the exhaust and it is leaking out at just about every weld on the cat-back.It is what it is, but i wont be a returning customer at this point. Very let down for the amount of hype i got.

This is hands down the best exhaust shop in town I would recommend this shop for any exhaust work you need done! Very friendly and very time efficient and you always get set right!

THE PLACE to go for custom exhaust, exhaust repair, or for installing aftermarket systems. Jim is an honest guy and did a great job putting in my new 3" catback system on my car. I paid more than I expected, but the service and customer service were top notch.

Repaired flex pipe on exhaust. I feel like I got a great value. My car was noisy like a go cart before he fixed it. Sounds like a normal car again for $140 bucks. Also done in a day and easy to communicate with.Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

Jim squeezed me in yesterday and took care of my car needs for way less than I thought it'd be. I had been charged at a different muffler place for something that was never done! So Jim took the time to tell me what I could do to possibly get my money back from that business and even gave me the old part to prove it had never been replaced. He genuinely cared and it showed. I'm so grateful!!

Took rusted out 99 Grand Am in today for exhaust repair (if even possible) My husband called 30 min later and said he was done and it $90. I was so happy I just about cried. We did not want to spend alot of money as we will getting a newer car in a few months. Thank you Jim for taking care of us today. I will recommend this company to my friends!Service: Exhaust

20/10 RECOMMEND!! I m so glad I found this place! The first chain shop I went to quoted me over $1000 to replace my catalytic converter, new muffler, and more. Then I took it to a shop north of Jim s and they were pretty rude after telling them about a cautionary measure to start the car. I finally found Jim at Ace Mufflers and he was amazing! Got my car in, worked on, and done within six hours, and with it only needing a new resonator it cost below $200. He was an absolute pleasure to work with and I will be back if I have other car problems.We need more shops like Jim s around! I have been to very few car shops - including dealers - that are upfront and honest. This place is great and would recommend them 100%. I had flex piping and about a foot of my exhaust go bad on a 2013 model and they charged me $140 overall. You can't beat this.Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

Saved me over $1000! My exhaust system had some rust damage and split right around where the resonator is located, so I took my vehicle to some repair shops in town. They all quoted me around $1500 because they could only replace the whole exhaust system. Ace Mufflers and Brakes charged me $80 because they were able to just cut out the damaged section and weld a new pipe into its place. Highly recommend!

Would give 10 stars if I could! After visiting several other mechanics just to be scheduled for an inspection a week out, being quoted high prices with out looking at my vehicle, I was lucky to find Jim. He went right out to my car, listened/looked, and knew exactly what it was and how much it would be. I brought it in at open and had it back lunch. Friendly and fair priced. The first big repair chain we went to told us we needed $600 in repairs. We gave Ace a try and they were able to do a solid weld job and got it repaired for only $80. My guy Jim got me right when nobody else would. Id 10/10 recommend. My exhaust was hanging off for weeks cause i was waiting on getting the funds to get it repaired by this one shop in Council Bluffs. Then someone recommended Ace to me and said it would be done quicker, and wayyy cheaper. $80 is a big difference than $262 and having to have a loaner and waiting a day or two. Best decision i made. Jim was quick and affordable. Turned my cat back exhaust around in under a couple hours, and this was when he was swamped. Typical turn around time is only about an hour. Prices are super affordable! Will never go anywhere else for my muffler work. Thanks for the awesome job! Will recommend to all my friends!

Dropped my F-250 off at 8 AM to have a muffler and tailpipe put on and it was done at 11:45. The welds look great and everything is lined up straight. Very professional looking work. Also very reasonable pricing! This is my first time dealing with this place and I am happy I went there. I would highly recommend them for exhaust work.Service: Exhaust

Dropped off my 64 Fairlane in the morning and it was done before 3pm. Had a 5 minute conversation with Jim, let him know what kind of sound I was looking for and what I was looking for (dual exhaust, H-pipe, etc..) When I picked the car up it was exactly what I wanted. This guy does TOP NOTCH work and I will guarantee that I go nowhere else for exhaust work, ever. The price was spot on and I am 150% happy with the work Jim did.Service: Exhaust

I found this shop with Google due to the high reviews.. I now see why it is highly reviewed. The staff was friendly, professional, and efficient. The price was affordable. It was really embarrassing driving my car before, because of how loud it sounded when you accelerated. Now, I can t hear anything. It s finally quiet. I used to blast my music in the car, so I wouldn t have to hear how loud my car was. I will definitely return for any future repairs. Thank you so much!! Service: Exhaust

UPDATE 4 YEARS LATER my exhaust has rusted apart and fell off. Avoid this shop at all costsWas told first come, first serve... got there at 7:30 AM so I was the very first one there. He told me he would be done by 1 pm because he had a brake job from the previous day and I told him that is fine. I come back at 230 PM and my truck is still in the same place and the lady that got there after me, car was getting worked on before mine. By the time he was done with my truck it was already 5 pm.. its been about a month now and the exhaust rattles and makes noises when going over little bumps and doesn't look secured very well at all.. he also told me he installed flow masterexhaust and no where on there does it say flowmaster exhaust. The welds aren't very clean at all and u can tell he didn't even clean it up before or after welding. I wouldn't recommend this place.

No nonsense exhaust shop. They do good work for a fair price. They were able to patch my exhaust without having to replace whole pipe like other shops might have. Will return for any exhaust related repairs I need done.

Brought my car in to have the mufflers deleted for a more aggressive sound. I asked if they could customize a new system, and they explained what they could do. They had it done in roughly an hour. The car sounds amazing. To top it off, it was the most reasonable pricing.

Great place to fix your exhaust system.Another repair shop quoted me $2000 for repair but Ace Mufflers and brakes did it for $80.Great customer service.I strongly recommend them

Brought my Highlander in to have my muffler put back on. After inspecting my exhaust they told me the previous place I had work done had out too small of a pipe on and would have damaged my motor. Lucky I only drove it about 20 miles like this because the sound was awful anyways. The worm they did was very professional. My wife has the same car and I compared the two, it looks factory. If I ever need anymore exhaust work done I will bring my cars here. Very happy with the work.Service: Exhaust
