My recent interview at Bill Summers Ford of North Platte took a disheartening turn around the 8-minute mark. Initially, I was encouraged by their pursuit of me, with assurances that I was overqualified for the position. However, as I began to share details about myself, including my qualifications and enthusiasm for the role, the conversation abruptly shifted when the topic of my disability arose.It was at this juncture that the tone of the interview noticeably soured. Despite their initial interest in my overqualification, the mere mention of my disability seemed to signal the premature conclusion of our discussion.Within a remarkably brief span of time, it became evident that my candidacy was being judged not on merit, but on the presence of a disability a factor beyond my control. The interview, which had held promise in its initial stages, was summarily terminated, leaving me bewildered and deeply disappointed.The swiftness with which my disability seemingly became a disqualifying factor speaks volumes about the discriminatory attitudes prevailing within the company. Rather than being evaluated based on my skills and potential contributions, I was subjected to unfair treatment and denied the opportunity to showcase my capabilities.Such callous disregard for equal opportunity and inclusion is both reprehensible and unbecoming of any reputable organization. It is incumbent upon Bill Summers Ford of North Platte to reflect on their hiring practices and recognize the importance of fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace environment.By sharing my experience, I hope to shed light on the pervasive issue of discrimination faced by individuals with disabilities in the workforce. It is imperative that companies take proactive steps to address such behavior and ensure that all candidates are treated with dignity and respect, regardless of any perceived differences.In conclusion, my encounter with Bill Summers Ford of North Platte serves as a poignant reminder of the obstacles faced by individuals with disabilities in their pursuit of employment opportunities. Great service, staff and facilities. We have and will continue to service our vehicles at Bill Summers. Also, just purchased a Ford Maverick here and had an excellent purchase experience. The salesman, sales manager and finance associate were friendly, knowledgeable, forthright and easy to deal with.

I would give this Ford a 10 star review if I could. While traveling from Chicago to Colorado, our Ford truck had a wheel bearing break. Fortunately, we were able to drop off the truck and have it repaired within two days. Nick was extremely kind and helpful, keeping us updated regularly on the status of the truck. The mechanic worked tirelessly to complete the job and now we are in Colorado, enjoying the rest of our trip. Thank you for the awesome service!

The customer service is why we came back to Bill Summers. We have never felt like a price tag there. We feel valued and listed to on our wants and needs. We are so excited to get yet another vehicle from them for our growing family. I know car dealerships aren t the most kid friendly but they made us feel so welcomed with our 4-month-old. From making sure we got the car seat transferred for test drives to letting me feed my child during the paperwork part and not feeling rushed. Thank you so much, Tim Vencill and everyone at Bill Summers!

Check engine light was on immediately after leaving the dealership. Legally they could have told me it was my problem, but they fixed it free of charge instead. Not many dealers willing to do that.

I had to drop my truck off for warranty work and the owner's daughter took my information and I never heard back from her I had to call back somebody else set up my appointment but I had to drop it off with Bill Summers daughter.She was supposed to call me when it was ready and it's 5:30 in the afternoon and I don't have a ride and I don't have a vehicle and I haven't gotten a call so I contact the dealership and I was told that it was done around lunch time.Thankfully Carly came out and gave me a ride. I would have given this review minus five stars if I could but Carly was the only reason that I gave it what I did. The nepotism is ridiculous and I now use another dealership in the area to do all my workI have 4 Fords that are under warranty and I now have my maintenance done elsewhere.Buy from Lexington or Ogallala, great service and staff that returns calls.

I had been shopping for several weeks and found a number of cars I was interested in at Bill Summers online. I sent a request for more information, and within an hour I was contacted by Cowboy Corey Johnson. He was friendly and helpful, and we set an appointment for the next day. Corey checked in with me the morning of our appointment, and had the first car pulled into a showroom so we could look at it inside where it was warm.My husband and I told Corey what our goal was, Corey helped us find the perfect vehicle. He was genuine and kind, and made the whole experience so much easier that it could have been.People dread car buying for the time it takes and pushy sales people, but if they go to Bill Summers Ford, they won t have to worry about that at all. It was a great experience and we will be back!

Our car broke down just outside of North Platte, not a vehicle purchased from Bill Summers Ford. Not being from the area we just picked a place to have it towed to. We chose this dealership because of its close proximity to the highway and a hotel. Thank God we did, they were awesome. Due to our warranty requirements we ultimately had to have it towed to a manufacturer s dealership as it was not a Ford but their service department still took care of us. They were able to do an initial diagnosis, help find us a rental car and even gave us a ride to the rental car location. The service dept. mgr, Cameron, was super helpful and I highly recommend their dealership.

I take my time and compare vehicles from each lot and among the lots. Tim, my sales rep, was very patient while I took over a week of comparisons to make my decision. He was always polite and helpful. The manager, Ryan, was very up front with negotiations. I never felt like I was getting anything but facts. I also enjoyed the way the finance department, Phil, made me aware of an interest rate that was even lower than my credit union. I put a playful low cost "want" in the customer wants before sale, that was more of "a something to make people smile." They in turn made me smile by providing that item. Tim made the buying process fun for me.

I came in just wanting to test drive the Lincoln and not wanting to buy but they worked with us a got a deal that I could not pass up. They got us a down payment that we could afford and got us a loan that we could pay easily. I was very happy with how helpful and wonderful everyone was. I will definitely go their to buy another vehicle no matter what. I had the best experience in ever.

I stopped by to see if I could pick up a part for my automobile. As I approached the parts counter the guy behind the counter saw me, then moved to his left apparently to pick up something off a printer. I was probably 12 maybe 15 feet from the desk when I saw him and presumably him me. No one at the counter as I took the last few steps. I waited for a couple minutes then the counter guy walked from right to left behind the counter. He never said anything, no acknowledgement, no "can I help you", no "someone will be with you in a few minutes" : Nothing. He then left that area through a door into the waiting room and walked down the hall. Not to worry I was able to stop by a different business that actually helped me fix my problem with great customer service. If I could give BSF a negative rating I would.

This was the easiest, and one of the best car buying experiences I've had. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I am pleased with my purchase and would recommend them. Cowboy Corey was my salesman, he was fantastic through the whole process.

Great experience with the sales team. Michael and Jared went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied with our new truck. Before we left, they spent about an hour going through all of the features with us, connecting our phones, and making sure we had everything set-up before heading out. Great people! Thanks!!!

Pretty disappointing experience. They had a Ford maverick order cancellation and I told the salesman I would take it. He said the truck would be sold to me for MSRP but the next day raised the price 2500 dollars. Price gouging and shady business practice.

The used truck I bought had very low miles for the year it was made and looked better than many of its kind elsewhere around town. There was an immediate feeling that the price was not negotiable. Whether it was priced to sell or I should have pushed harder, I don t know, but I did leave with a really great truck that looks like it will last for a long time and I can honestly say I am satisfied. Facilities were upgraded recently and really do look amazing. Great environment, feel, and atmosphere.

The crew in the service area of Bill Summers is second to none! They were all very knowledgeable, nice and did an outstanding job of explaining to me what was being done to my car. They even gave me a nice pocket that I took home with me so I could refer back to what was done. The waiting area was the most comfortable I ve ever seen. Comfy chairs, fireplace, separate children s play room, beverages, etc... Also, all the employees that came by were friendly and not hesitant to say hi . A true breath of fresh air in the auto service world.

Had been waiting for the pictures to come out when it was advertised as Coming Soon. Had seen on several car purchase sites that it was listed as a Good Deal. As soon as I saw pictures on the web, I headed right out to Bill Summers Ford. I fell in love when I saw it. It had been taken care of well, and was able to show my wife. I had a 2007 Chevy Malibu and it was about time to look for something down the road after we [aid off our 2015 Nissan Sentra that we had previously purchased from Bill Summer also and have been very happy with. I spoke with the salesman Rich Ruane, and had an excellent experience with. My wife and I took it for a drive, and we both decided that maybe this is the one. When we returned, Rich was right there to discuss the numbers. We had a budget to work with, and Rich put in everything he had to get the numbers to our needs. We were offered an excellent deal on our trade in that I would have never believed and the numbers were perfect for us. It was time to buy this beautiful 2015 Ford Escape. Rich was very busy that day, and his excellent customer service was very professional by checking on us multiple times while the management approved the sale. After the sale ewe were strapped for time, and we were able to make arrangements to come back at a later time to finish the paperwork. I recommend purchasing the warranty they offer. It is very comparable to any car warranty you would see on tv. Out the door Rich assured us that if we have any questions or need to feel free to contact him. The next day we had a couple questions, and Rich was able to assist us, and made himself a reminder to check into our needs, and promptly contacted us with the answer we were hoping to hear. Unlike other experiences having to call back and ask if they had been able to take care of our needs; Rich was on the ball and contacted us sooner than we had expected. Rich was on the ball. I really recommend Bill Summers Ford for your car purchase experience, and Rich Ruane to take care of your purchase experience. Thank You Bill Summers Ford LLC., and Rich Ruane. I am in heaven with my vehicle, and I'm assured that if any issues or questions down the road with be taken care of with my needs in mind.

Very good experience from beginning to end buying a vehicle @ Bill Summers Ford. The staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to buy a new or preowned vehicle. Marshall Robinson did it again. We had bought a 2021 Nissan altima from him back in July. We were having the car serviced and noticed a 2021 ford expedition on the lot.
