Deserves 6 s. They are very honest and sometimes can fix your vehicle to be even better then it was before. My experience was with my dad getting his water pump replaced and this place found mistakes that a different company mechanic had made when they installed the previous water pump. I ll always come back here for my car repair needs.

10/10 best auto shop I have been to so far.It can be really intimidating to go into auto shops as a younger woman because sometimes these shops try to take advantage of lack of knowledge around cars. I had that experience at TO Haus and other shops in Lincoln quite a bit. I first brought in a car I was taking for a test drive just to get it checked out. He was very informative and gave me his honest opinion that it probably wasn t a very good car. He explained the mechanical terms in a very comprehensive way & never made me feel stupid or bad for asking questions. He told me some dealers to stay away from and that was that.When I eventually did buy my current car, I brought it back in because the check engine light was on. He did the work in a day and I paid the full price. Again, he was very friendly and I felt very good about the experience. Unfortunately, a few days later my check engine light was on again so I brought it back in. I thought it was the same issue so it would apply under his $1,200 warranty. When I asked about the warranty, he said it didn t technically apply but he just didn t charge me for the work. The drive home, my car drove smoother than it ever has.I recommended my coworker bring his car in a few weeks ago when he was having trouble and my coworker texted me after thanking me for the recommendation. He also had a great experience.Thank you Sunbear Auto for helping me with my situation, I am incredibly grateful for all you guys have done.

My starter went out unexpectedly so I had my car towed to Sunbear Auto to get fixed. The service provided was beyond amazing. He was very friendly and transparent. The price was affordable. My car was fixed in two days and I am extremely happy with how it runs! I highly recommend this mechanic and will be going back for any future car troubles. Thank you again for doing such a great job. It is truly appreciated!!!

I was visiting from out of town, when my car began to overheat. I called Sunbear Auto and they have been stellar. Silas and Terri were kind, empathetic, and compassionate in their service. In spite of the stress this situation brings, I felt taken care of and in good hands. They were completely transparent, and incredibly accommodating. Five stars all the way.

We are not even halfway through a road trip and a Shutter Grille error popped up causing power reduction. We called several places that could not get us in quickly, but Sunbear Automotive Repair was able to. Silas fixed the problem ( a rock) quickly and was able to send us on our way with no charge. We also got to spend time with a great shop dog Blaze whom kept us entertained and his staff was friendly. What amazing service! We highly recommend stopping by them for any needs.

Absolute miracle worker. Surpassed my expectations on the repair. Amazing customer service and communication. Silas called me immediately when an issue arose explained my options and had even researched what the cost would be if the additional repair was added. Found the part locally and made sure i knew my options either way. Went the extra mile for me. When I received the final total. I was blown away. His total was a fraction of what any other shop would've charged for the same repair. I will definitely be using Sunbear for all my vehicles from now on.

I was blown away by the service at Sunbear. The transmission on our minivan went out while in the middle of a vacation with my young son. I called this shop and Silas checked for available transmissions to use and helped me think through the cost. He was available to help me do a safety check on a new-to-us used vehicle after we'd had even more vehicle catastrophes, stayed late to make a couple important repairs on our new car, and charged us an incredibly reasonable price. He also remembered that gold was my son's favorite color and gifted him a set of gold hotwheels cars and a pocketful of jolly ranchers. Through all these transactions, he took the time to talk with us and find out what we needed and wanted and then to address the problems and our questions and give us answers, good or bad news. This is the best experience I've had with a mechanic, and I wish his shop was closer to us, because if it was, I wouldn't take my vehicles anywhere else.

One of the best automotive repairs in town. If it were possible to rate 10 stars I would. They are very understanding and will work with you instead of against you. They will show you respect, and make you feel as if you were long lost friends. Super quick repairs with great quality.

These guys are great .. I brought my 1991 ranger here for a brakes issue and he knew exactly what the truck needed there were some other problems that he fixed and made sure the truck was safe to drive.. they saved me money and are very knowledgeable on vehicles this place is a gem thanks again Service: BrakesService: Brakes

Took my car in for a problem with the drive shaft they found the issuevery quickly. Silas ordered the part and once the part arrived before picking it up we decided to put new tires on the car. Once the car was fixed and had New tires they test drove it to make sure the drive shaft was good. Prior to our arrival Silas tried to test drive the car a final time and discovered the first part had failed. He immediately called and explained said he would get the part warrantied out. He then got another part and had the New part installed and everything back together before we arrived an hour later to pick it up. They went above and beyond to make sure the car was ready at the agreed upon time. Would highly recommend this shop to anyone who needs any work completed. Prices are extremely reasonable and fair. The customer service is beyond anything you will find any where else.

Came in for a routine oil change and safety inspection. The owner got my vehicle serviced fairly quickly, and discussed what was found on the safety inspection. He answered all the questions I had, while making his explanations very easy to understand. The owner is very transparent with what's going on with the vehicle, how it can be fixed, and problems that could arise in the process. I recommend this shop to everyone! This is the only automotive shop I'm ever going to because of the honesty and trust I felt with the owner.Service: Oil change

Yesterday, my car started making a funny noise. I know absolutely nothing about vehicles so I called Silas and was able to bring my car to him and he was able to repair it in under 30 minutes. I was absolutely shocked by the quickness and efficiency! And the repair to my vehicle did not break my bank account! I absolutely trust Silas with repairing my vehicle and will be bringing my vehicle back in the future for further routine maintenance work. Sunbear Automotive Repair is the BEST!

I took my car in for a tire replacement and a vehicle inspection to make sure everything was running okay. It was ready for me to take back in about 30 minutes. I picked up a bolt in my tire last night. I called Sunbear Auto because they were close, and Silas got me in quickly and saved me a lot of time. He patched up my tire and gave me the best price I've ever received for such a fix. I'll definitely be back!

Honest, helpful, and by far the best mechanics for the hands down best price. ive had to have emergency help and sylis came n helped me cuz i had a tired come off on the highway. My cars breaks where aweful they did awesome job on them. They are so helpful they go as far as finding you the cheapest parts send u the list so u can see what will b needed. Unbelievable. I cant say enough! Best in lincoln.

I am sharing what I put on my Facebook news feed about my experience with this shop:Hey, for all the women out there who worry if your mechanic is taking advantage of your lack of automotive saavy, I just had an amazing experience at Sunbear Autumotive in Lincoln. I have found someone I trust and who is actually focused on customer care. Everything he did to solve the problem I came in with was explained thoroughly. He took the time to make sure I was satisfied with the job without talking down to me or appearing to be rushed or annoyed at my questions. Other things he found that needed attention were also explained. Then he made some adjustments to actually lower my bill, and helped me prioritize the work that still needs to be done, including a list of parts I could get cheaper than I could get through his shop if I buy them myself. My last mechanic would not even put windshield wipers on my car unless I bought them from his shop. Sunbear staff were helpful, respectful, personable and professional. I have a new mechanic! Silas saved me so much money! I got a quote from a very reputable place and I couldn t figure out why they wanted to charge me so much. I took my car to Sunbear and not only did they charge me 1/3 of what I would have paid elsewhere, but the part wasn't even broken! We need more shops like yours to help people like me, thank you again!

Silas. We know a few auto mechanics from Florida to Wa. State. We have never had the professionalism and knowledge of your Silas. When we were in an emergency situation, Silas stepped in and his genius took over. He helped us resume one of our dreams. We want everybody to know that Silas and Sunbear Auto is where anybody should take their rig if you want decent, honest professional auto service.

Silas & Terri are awesome to work with. Straight forward work & solid advice at a reasonable price. They both go above & beyond normal shops & that's always a plus in my book when my job requires me to be on call 24/7. I highly recommend SunBear for anyone's automotive needs.

Silas installed new leaf springs....bushings and hangers....shackles on my 2000 Ford Ranger.....est was perfect.....i have total trust in this auto shop to give me a TRUE and honest est and the work was flawless......thank you Silas.......and Sun Bear Automotive

He takes the explode out of the ford exploder! He has fixed several unsafe suspension components on my explorer the past couple days and i HIGHLY recommend! Very good pricing.
