Place was good. Got a cheeseburger and fries, everything tasted good except for the buns. Juicy burger and buns that taste like sand and dry your mouth out like a sponge don t mix. Similar taste to putting used sponges on a burger. Fries were salted well but were a tad bit stale. Chicken wings were really spicy which was good. Staff was good and the atmosphere was amazing. Has good history of the area.

We had seen the signs about this place and decided to try it out. A bit of a drive from Omaha but we thought it was worth it.Wife had the Prime Rib with the pepper crust which she deemed one of the favorites she has had. That is quite the compliment as she is a conesuer of Prime Rib. It came with a side salad or soup. She choose the salad. It was a standard salad but the ranch was very good. She chose hadhbrowns as he side and they were excellent.I had the ribeye with the Dijon whiskey preparation. It was outstanding while a little lighter on the flavor than I was hoping. I also had the hashbrowns..crispy...so freaking good!The only minor disappointment was the bread they bring out. They bring out this amazing mini loaf of homemade bread...but then you realize it's not warm. A total miss on their end by not at least warming it up.Overall it was a very good meal at a reasonable price. If you like a bit something out of the norm, I'd recommend checking them out.Forgot to take pictures but it's a good little spot.

Fabulous restaurant! I totally enjoyed my Shrimp basket! Perfectly fried.... so crispy!!My cuz enjoyed her humongous fried shrimp with her baked potato.My 2nd cuz-in-law had delicious fried wings!Didn't get a picture of the awesome appetizers.....scrumptious fried cheese curds, fried cauliflower w/cheese and chizlets (deep fried steak)...they didn't last long!!!Marvelous restaurant to celebrate my cuz Bob's 58th birthday!!!

There were 6 people in our party and out of the six my meal was the only one not satisfying. I had the prime rib and the au jus and it was cold and so was the meat. The rest of my meals was good. The other 5 enjoyed their meals of chicken fried steak, fried chicken and of chicken and shrimp dinner. I just want you to make sure that the prime rib and au jus are warm to hot for people. It might have been just an off night for that meal.

Don t waste your time driving to Hooper. we thought it would be a fun Night wow we were wrong. We had to go to the bar to get our own drinks and then were harassed by the staff asking if we paid for them many people that came in after us seated before we were offered a seat ended up leaving. When we had been waiting for over an hour to be seated

Excellent food. Well worth the drive from Omaha. Ribeye was tender and flavorful and the broasted chicken was the bomb...wish we had room for dessert.

Hidden gem in the middle of nowhere. I am so glad we stopped here today. Everything we ordered was amazingly delicious. Our server was exceptionally nice too.

Went there with my sister, brother and his wife for steaks. That was one of the best tasting steaks I've ever eaten and I've eaten quite a few in the last 65 years.I'll be back in Nebraska next September and I've already put the Office Bar & Grill on my things to do list. See y'all then!!!

This was by far the best top sirloin steak I've had at a restaurant. Cooked perfect, and if you're a meat guy who knows what the best part of the sirloin is ( coulotte muscle ) it eats so tender. Spinach artichoke dip was also amazing, service perfect. Only down side was the amount of flies in the establishment. That was off putting.

This place was packed on a Wednesday night. It is a favorite of my Dad and I treated him to a meal. The place was dimly lit. At our table, I needed the flashlight on my phone to read the menu. The homemade ham and bean soup was delicious. My Dad's dish was okay. Deep fried shrimp and chicken from the freezer for $17. I had a patty melt that was very tasty. With limited dining options in Fremont, The Office is a good option for people looking for an escape from fast food or chains.

In our search for places to eat, we came across reviews for the Office Bar & Grill. We were feeling adventurous, so we got in the car and went to Hooper!I had the 12 oz ribeye (made classic) with baked potato, while the wife had the two-piece broasted chicken.I am particular about how I like my steak, that is, medium well. On one hand I can count the number of places that have gotten it right in the last five years. Office Bar & Grill got it right. The steak was was most flavorful, with my knife cutting through it easily. The baked potato was cooked to perfection and had a good flavor. Wife doesn't like sour cream, so I got a bonus!Wife liked the broasted chicken, with the baked potato being nommy. Near the end of the meal, she hit a low point. The potato had a rotten spot in it. While I am but an amateur cook, even I know how to clean potatoes for cooking, including removing the bad spots. That marred an otherwise excellent meal.Stacie, our waitress, was abrupt at first, but seemed to become more friendly as our visit continued. Since this was our first visit, we had questions about some dishes. Upon asking about if the crab meat was canned for the crab cakes, she just stared at us as if what little answer she gave was acceptable. The wife spent considerable time in Maryland, so she abhors canned crab meat.Overall, the food was great, with the service needing some improvement. Not sure if we will be back, but that steak was mighty tasty.

Absolutely one of the best dining experiences around! The staff was caring and attentive without being obtrusive. The Office is more than the average Midwestern dining experience. The food was excellent, fair priced, and at the table in a timely manner. The atmosphere had the grown-ups remembering the good old days of going out to eat and how great it still is at this place. The kids loved the experience also, they only used their phones to share pictures of their resent adventures. The office is on our list of places we will go back to!!

Absolutely disappointed with this restaurant. Took my family here to eat. I got a chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and corn. The chicken fried steak was disgusting. It s was hand breaded the breading was so thick all it held was oil. I let the waitress know and she still charged me full price for a meal I did not get to eat. She did not ask if I wanted something else or help with the food service. Will not return.

Great restaurant in the heart of small town Hooper NE. Good selection of steaks, chicken and some seafood dishes available on the menu as well as appetizers and drinks. Small town feel, somewhat rustic surroundings and friendly service at a reasonable price. Well worth a trip to support a quality locally owned restaurant.

An amazing place! This was my first time and I will definitely be returning many times. The waitress was incredibly friendly and polite! She joined in on us cracking jokes!The food was absolutely incredible. Their potato soup is probably the best soup I've had in my life. They were really busy and we still got our food in about 20 minutes of being seated! 10 out of 5 stars!!!!!

Cheeseburger soup was awesome.Hubby said that was the best New York steak he has ever had. I had the office cut, which was very tender. It was a nice little drive from west Omaha to Hooper, but we will be back!
