Hands down the best car buying experience I ve had! I ve had my Chevy Malibu for 2 years and am still happy with the purchase. Every interaction I had with Wes and the entire staff has been friendly and helpful. The test drive, purchasing the car, and even a year later when I had questions, they were supportive and never pushy.

Ask for the Carfax! I bought an inexpensive car to drive back and forth from work knowing it was not esthetically perfect. When I took it to the licensing office I found out that the title was a salvage title. It was not marked as such so I don't think Spady's knew it was salvaged however I immediately called them to rectify the situation. They told me it was probably hail damage and refused to buy a carfax because the purchase price was under $12,000. So I bought the Carfax report myself only to discover it had been in multiple accidents. They refused to buy the car back from me or negotiate the price so I am left with a car I paid too much for. Their only offering was to sell it for me on their lot on consignment which meant I'd be without a car until it sold and would owe them a salesman fee. I also tried to explain to them that my insurance wouldn't even cover the car and they told me I should just not tell the insurance company. I was yelled at by both the owner and his daughter on the phone and they told me this is my problem now. I can see there are a lot of sub-par reviews here on google so just adding mine to the list. Hopefully the warning will be helpful to someone else down the road.

BUYERS BEWARE!!! Don t let the decent prices fool you. You ll think you re getting a good deal, but will just end up stranded on the side of the road. The car I bought from them didn t even make it home before it broke down. And from the looks of other reviews it looks like this is their business plan. What a mockery of a business, you re no better than a scammer or someone who steals for a living. Shame on you. I hope you sleep well at night.EDIT: adding photos. Entire braking system was so rusted out that they weren t even working properly and were life threatening even driving it.

Bought Ford F150 a month ago, knowing it was a used vehicle I bought a warranty. I'm glad I did, it needed a couple repairs and Lonnie at Spady Auto Sales fixed it in no time with no issues due to my warranty. I love my truck and Spadys were willing to deal with any issues I had.

**Battery was completely dead..at pickup time..was told it was a new battery.**Numerous error...on the title...causing late fees to which I asked to be reimbursed..refused!One error being a pencil hole through the previous license id#**Whatever..kind of Product is being used to cover up RUST...it works great..until it gets washed off!!**Rule of thumb...when buying used...take it to the car wash...then make your decision! I asked about rust..was told "oh only a small amount on the bumper...No...it has rust from the top of the bed to all around the bottom!**dashboard lite up..on my trip home..with the engine light and gascap light coming on.**2 of the 4 tires..blew out within the 1 month.**< then 4months. < 1,000miles...only 4 trips to a garage and 2000.00 ticket so far

I paid $14,000 for a 2015 Chevy Malibu LTZ & already had to change the AC Compressor which was $1000, a headlight which was $150 for this car, I had to change the rotors and brakes bc I thought that s why it was creaking but it didn t work. So it stills creaks really loud & I didn t notice until a few months later I looked underneath the car & it must of been in an accident not reported or something the plastic by the tires is all broken & underneath is all zip tied together & yeah this place isn t a good place to buy an actual good car that doesn t need a bunch of expensive work done.

My brother in-law just got a vehicle from Spady s, 2 weeks later the transmission blew out and told him that it s not their problem and he has to figure it out. Shady business that sells you lemons that are guaranteed to break down and give you the short end of the stick.

I purchased a 2012 Ranger two months ago. Spady's let me lift up the truck in the back, I did ask for a Carfax but they informed me they pull a autocheck instead. The check said no accidents but I decided to pay for a carfax myself. I felt better that way, they were honest and did not hide that from me. I have read a lot of reviews on Spadys. I came from Kansas and was not sure if I should but once I got here and asked questions about the carfax and having the truck lifted, they were upfront. Dont always listen to what you read and ask questions. I love the truck and have no problems.

Purchased a 2011 Subaru on 1/28/23 from Spady Auto Sales in Holdrege with 83,000 miles. In less than 2 weeks the radiator had to be replaced. My mechanic thought that was very odd having to replace it with that kind of miles but he replaced it non-the-less and. Put less than 1,000 miles on the Subaru and the motor seized and left us stranded in the panhandle (Nebraska). Towed the vehicle and the mechanic advised that the vehicle had a blown head gasket and was purchased that way. Oil was leaking into the cooling system. Contacted the dealership several times and asked why it passed their inspection that way. They ultimately stated I should have purchased the extended warranty and the vehicle was purchased as is and they could not assist in anyway. Now putting in a new engine and have $19,000 in a 2011 Subaru. Very disappointed in a small town dealership and will never do business with them again. You should not either.

I bought my 2006 Pontiac G6 from spadys. They told me the only problem was my back tires needed to be replaced and That they would order me some new ones. A few days later I found out my timing belt was damaged and needed replaced so when I called them they told me to bring my car and they would get me a new one and the tires put on. I found out that they gave me one bad tire and one Good tire and it also took them 2 weeks to even start working on my car. Once I got my car back it had more problems and I had to end up getting a new battery. I highly recommend you not get a car from this place because they screw you over and try making it your fault.

Talked to Wes prior to us driving 3 hours to see a car. Wes was very helpful, responsive and made sure the car was there and ready when we arrived. Paperwork was handled smoothly and quickly. Had a great experience and would definitely make the drive and buy from them again.

From the very beginning, we had a good feeling about purchasing a vehicle from Spady Auto Sales. The owner, Todd, held the vehicle until we arrived to finalize the purchase.As with any used vehicle, problems can occur as ours did shortly after driving it back to our home 100 miles away. (Remember buyers, AS IS purchase).Now, as buyers, we can choose to "bash" this company or stand beside and support them; we chose the latter as that is exactly what Wes did for us. He promptly worked with us to fix the problem, (even on a day the business is normally closed.)Making it convenient for us, Wes picked up AND delivered the car back to our hometown, again 100 miles away. This kind of service speaks volumes in of itself.The whole crew at Spady Auto Sales made our purchase stress free.We are very happy with our purchase and look forward doing business in the future.Thanks Spady Auto Sales!!!!!Tom & Kristine

Bought my 2013 Highlander 5 months ago, check engine light came on on my way home ( you can see my old review if scroll down). I replaced about 2k worth of parts then it went off and would come back on and go off again. Finally decided to stay on so I took it to actual Toyota dealership to find out it has low compression in cylinder 1. So I'm just posting this to let you people know DO NOT BUY FROM THESE GUYS! THIS CAR IS A LEMON THAT THEY JUST DROPPED ON ME,AND SAID GOOD LUCK. GO TO A REPUTABLE STEALERSHIP AND NOT THIS SHADY AUTO SALES! save yourself some money and headaches.

I was going to give this place 5 stars because of how friendly the salesman was and how smooth everything went but then, just as others on my way home after buying one of their vehicles (a Toyota Highlander) The check engine light came on shortly after about 50 miles. Which seems to me that they reset the computer on the vehicle and knew that no one would drive it long enough on the test drive to be able to know that it was going to come on, making it seem like it was fine. The salesman even told me he had been driving it for 3 days prior to me coming to look at it because it was such a good vehicle, so in other words this guy drove a vehicle he knew had problems and then sold it to me anyways. I should have known something was up when I called and asked if it was still there and they said they would "get it ready for me". Long story short after spending 21k on a vehicle here, I now call it shady auto sales! DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM HERE!!! They also said they have a Grandpa in Hastings who owns the Buick dealership if he runs his place like these guys I'd avoid him also.

A very well operated dealership....owners and employees are friendly, professional, and courteous. They are polite and family owned and operated. All three family members make it a point to say hello and make sure I m taken care of whenever I walk in. Their service department is exceptional and I always get in and out. They have been servicing all of my company and personal vehicles for years now. I have found them to be honest and forthcoming on all costs concerning repairs. They have always thoroughly explained costs as well as needs for my vehicles without trying to sell me extra things that I don t need. I also just purchased a used vehicle from Spady s and I couldn t be happier. Vehicle arrived and performed as advertised. They personally made sure the vehicle was in pristine condition before walking me through operation of all its features and sending me off. I will be exclusively doing business with Todd Spady in the future.

While I can t speak for the entire staff, I worked with Wes Spady when purchasing our vehicle and it was a great experience. He was extremely helpful, professional and accommodating. Wes, went out of his way to find us a nice SUV and make sure we were satisfied with the vehicle. So far our rig is running great and I d be happy to recommend Wes to a friend!

I am posting this for my wife Shari Shore. We bought a truck on December 2021. For the most part the truck is more great, and Jaquline make the process painless.My issue came after the fact, concerning paperwork. We went to plate the truck on the day that the temporary expired, only to find out that the DMV hadn't received the necessary paperwork. First, it took several calls to finally get some type of call back. We were told that the paperwork was sent out on the 7th of January, 27 days after we purchased the truck. Because of this we haven't been able to drive our truck it makes sense for a dealership to wait 28 days to send out needed paperwork to the proper agency.

My husband traded his truck in at this dealership, we were told the truck would be paid off right away. A week later the bank tried to pull payment from bank account. We called the finance company and told them the truck was traded in and should be paid off. Today another letter from the bank wanting two payments on a truck Spadys was obligated to pay off This hits my hubbys credit someone is going to have to answer to it

Should be called SHADY Auto Sales. Tried doing a contactless buy, and they were impossible to deal with for shipping, and took them 4 tries over 4 days to fill out LOAN PAPERWORK, you would think that is the least they would be able to do. I will say the owner did personally call occasionally which was nice. But the car ended up being a rust bucket, my bad for not specifically asking if it was rusty, sunroof doesn t work, lights are out, and a check engine light came on within 10 minutes of driving it. They must have known it was a POS because they would not even offer a 10 day money back guarantee. Overall dissatisfied with my deal, and I would not recommend buying there, and definitely not doing contactless buying EDIT: Now my brake caliper has seized, and my steering rack is leaking haven t even been able to drive the vehicle more than 100 miles and I ve owned it for 2 weeks. Thanks for the stellar deal

This is the place to buy a car in this area.These people have a very very nice and clean inventory. I have been there several times, not to be disappointed.The staff is super nice and helpful.Don't pass this dealership up, you will regret it!

Bought an SUV and the transmission went out before even making it home. Thought I was saved by the extended service contract ... Nope it wouldn't take effect until it was driven 1000 miles. I will never buy from them again. Save your money and headache and shop somewhere else!

Horrible place to get a vehicle from. Bought two vehicles and they are both junk. I had an accident in my truck I bought from there and the airbags did not deploy. Very dangerous!

I talked to them about test driving a vehicle and the day I saw supposed to do the test drive that afternoon they sold the vehicle that morning. They never texted or called to tell me either They told me it sold when I went in to do the test drive.
