Haver's Auto has great customer care and service. They've always gone above and beyond, working to help our family with vehicle repair and cost management. They're upfront and honest and Bud does a great job of explaining exactly what's wrong and how the part or system should properly function. We'll continue to put our vehicles in their capable hands and know that repairs will be done well!

I stopped in to Haver's this morning just to get some air in my tires. The two gas stations I stopped at first drained air because their compressors weren't working/on, so it made my issue worse. I stopped in and they got me into a bay in 2min, made personable conversation, and got me out of there in the next 5min no charge. It's so refreshing to find an Auto Repair shop that actually cares about people and not making an extra dollar. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone!

We love Haver's! Having a reliable, down-to-earth auto shop right down the road from our office is a game changer. They're always very professional, but have that Midwest charm that reassures you they are there to serve you and have your best interest in mind. Would recommend them to anyone!

Absolutely exceptional customer service, completely transparent pricing, and no attempt whatsoever to try to recommend or do any work not necessary. What a refreshing way to have your vehicle serviced. Two other local corporate businesses kept recommending work needing to be done immediately and Haver s had an ethical approach to their business and showed us what should be considered being done sometime down the line and educated us how to recognize early enough when some of these repairs should be completed. This is the place to come for your automotive needs. If we lived locally Haver s would get all of our business. And when you call, ask for Bud Lanphear. Havers is the best place to go for your car needs. We have taken several of our cars there, for multiple repairs, they always treat us good and are honest and fair. I wont be taking my cars anywhere else. They are the best in town.

Bud and Abby and the whole staff at Havers are top notch! They truly care about their customers and will go above and beyond to help you. Great service and honest prices. They are the best auto shop in the Omaha area. They treat you like family.

Haver's Auto Repair has done a lot of work on my 2002 Suburban with 205,000 miles. They have done the rear main seal, front differential replacement, upper and lower ball joints to name a few. Always good prices and fast turn around time. They even gave me a loner car to get around at no cost. 2 year warranty on parts. Very great work and honest about what to replace and what not to replace. Thank you for the job that you do.

Without a doubt the highest integrity auto shop I've ever had the pleasure of interacting with. I could detail the pride they take in their work or the level of professionalism and empathy exhibited from Bud and others that are customer facing, but I'd rather make note that this is an example of how to build an enduring American small business that adds value to our community. My experience with Havers was mixed. The Good - I was able to get in quicker than expected. They offer a loaner car. Bud is a friendly guy. The Bad - They weren't able to fix the issue, so they said they would discuss next steps and let me know, but they didn't call me back. After a few days, I had to call them. When I called them they said I would need to take it to the dealer because they couldn't fix it. I don't blame them for not being able to fix it. My frustration is with the lack of follow up. Ultimately, I would recommend Havers and will probably go back, but this specific experience was below expectations.

I highly recommend Havers in Gretna to anyone. They had my daughters car but she had asked them to call me with anything since she is a teacher and would not be able to always take the call. They are very courteous, thorough and honest. We had things we thought had to be done according to another place. They checked it over and said no, we did not need to do that service yet. So their honesty saved us money. There prices are very competitive, if not lower then others. They keep me updated on everything and the price. I had no surprises. I have been to a lot of different auto shops and not one would stand up to Havers. We will only continue to use Haver for every maintenance and auto issues.

Amazing place. My son s window would not go up on a -22 degree WC day. Called Havers next morning and the Gretna location came through in flying colors! I am so thankful to be a long standing customer of theirs. Best place to have your car worked on in Omaha! Thanks so much Havers!

Visited Havers twice in the past couple of weeks, very happy with the service I recieved! Staff there is very knowledge, professional, and willing to make sure you understand the issue you were having, and the fix they implemented. As with all mechanics the visit was pricey, but very satisfied with the service Bud and crew gave me and will be returning if in need.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

I cannot ever say enough good things about Havers. Bud, Abby and the entire staff are always so helpful and accommodating. My car wouldn t start one Thursday after work, once I got it started I was able to take it straight to Havers. Bud called me the next morning before they even opened and they had it in the shop and diagnosed already. They provided me with a loaner car and had my car fixed in back to me in less than 24 hours. They feel like family and I trust in them completely with all our vehicles!Service: Battery service

Always a great experience. They are 100% on the level. If its a lost cause they will tell you and not nickel and dime you to death. You will NEVER find a better place to take your vehicle than Havers.

Super friendly staff, not predatory on inexperience. Gave me an affordable diagnostic on a recently purchased, very used car. Sat down and discussed my options, what I need to fix, what can wait, and overall provided a ton of peace of mind.

Though I didn't end up being a customer, I had the best experience with Bud from Haver's! My car was in for service at the dealership and there was an exhaust issue that my extended warranty didn't want to cover. I was calling around for estimates and Bud mentioned a factory 8yrs/80k emissions warranty that I didn't even know I had! I called the Cadillac warranty service center and found out it should be covered! After I relayed that info to the dealer and told them to run it through the emissions warranty I called Bud back to let him know it was in the works only to find out that in the meantime, he had already reached out to one of his contacts about my issue at House of Mufflers to find me a better deal than what he could offer. That is above and beyond! Because of Bud's suggestion, I only had to pay the dealership $425 (labor) instead of the $1800.00+ estimate they gave me. Thank you again for your outstanding service, Bud! :)

There aren't enough caring, honest and reliable auto repair shops left in this country but this is definitely one of the few remaining!!! Bud has been an absolute lifesaver, taken very good care of the cars, offered the best advise for a situation that they could have taken full advantage of and did not!! What auto repair place does that? I would highly recommend them if you are ever in need of any assistance as they are truly one of the most honest places anywhere.

Thank God for Bud Lanphear and Haver's Auto Repair! I live 150 miles from Gretna and ran into car trouble over Labor Day weekend. My son-in-law told me to call Haver's. Even though they were extremely busy, Bud had me drop my car off in hopes of a cancellation. My only request, "is it safe to drive home?" Four hours later, Bud called and said it could be driven home, but it needed new tires, shocks, and mounts. To my surprise, he didn't even charge me for the diagnosis. I had to practically beg him to take $20.00 for the "shop's pizza jar"! Ha! Haver's Auto took care of me, a woman from out of town who knows nothing about cars. This place was amazing. They took care of me when I had nowhere else to go, and they were very helpful and letting me know exactly what was wrong with my vehicle and did not overcharge me like other places, I would highly recommend them to anybody!

Bud is the most honest and helpful person ever. He went out of his way today to give me a detailed explanation, with photo references, of some parts my car were needing replaced. I also dropped my car off a few days early and he was able to get my car in and fixed a day early than scheduled. Yesterday my car basically fell apart around the brakes. I was stranded on a 97 degree day. Haver's was recommened to me so I gave them a call. I was told they could get to my vehicle in for repairs in two days, which I agreed, and they took my information. This is what they actually did for me:1. Arranged towing to their shop2. Picked me up where I was stranded3. Gave me a loaner car to use while mine was being repaired and I was on my way in less than an hour.4. Did the repairs and had me back on the road in my own car within 24 hours.I feel like I have hit the jackpot with this company. Everyone I came into contact with were friendly and willing to do whatever they could to help me. I'm retired and watching my grandchildren so having my car is extremely important to me.Thank you so very much! It doesn't seem enough just to say thank you.
