I purchased my vehicle last year from this location and have had my car serviced here regularly. I needed an oil change but was due to deliver my twins on 11/6, so the week of Halloween I set an appt for the soonest available on 11/9 @ 2pm for an oil change and 100k mile service. I also included in the notes a fluid exchange for the transmission fluid. The appt day comes around and I was still in the hospital so I called them and left a message to let them know my husband would be dropping off my car. They called back and said they couldn't understand my voicemail- which was fine, I didn't have great service in the hospital anyway.But when the service guy called me back, he tried to reschedule my appt for 11/30. I said no. So then he suggested canceling my appointment and I said no. I had no idea where this was coming from because all I wanted was to let them know that I wouldn't be there personally to drop off my car.Anyway, so my husband goes to drop my car off and the same service tech tells my husband he was just going to cancel my appt because he didn't understand what I wanted. It was literally in the notes when I booked the appt online! My husband said no. The service guy transferred this over to his manager and the manager told my husband they weren't going to have time to do my car that day. Why would you not have time to do my car but allow me to make those specific selections for that specific time on that date, if you weren't going to be able to do it?Anyway, at that point my husband left and I made contact with the manager. He tells me I needed a new battery $209, fluid exchange was $299, and 100k service was $299. Plus an oil change was $80. So damn near $900. I told him absolutely not and to only just change my oil.I get my car back, and not only did they do a tire rotation that I did not ask for, they took down my big o sticker that told me when my next alignment was. I was pissed. My tires came from Big O and Dinsdales should have never touched a single thing in my car besides what I asked them/agreed for them to do.I think from now on, any service needs that I need for my vehicle, I'll be going to Ken's or Big O.
