There is no one past 4 or 5pm, but when we arrived there was a letter with some instructions and an envelope to leave the cash in it for our stay, so this was convenient. The lot in itself is nice, not the best maintained but that's fine.

The only reason I only gave 3 stars is because the RV sites were very unlevel and we were never able to put our jacks down. There were large pot holes everywhere in the road. Other than that there are a lot of pretty trees and the park managers were nice. This was close to town and we went to the Fur Traders Museum and had a great time.

Our stay was pleasant. The sites are close together, but the staff was very friendly. They do have a laundry, which was very reasonable priced and pretty clean.

Located in Chadron for 50 years, Eagle Rest RV Park appears to be the only area full hookup RV park. All spots are pull thru full hookup buddy sites, close to each other, and not long. Our 20 foot truck barely fit with our 35 foot trailer. We did, however, have 50 amp and a shared picnic table. The park also offers long term sites, an area for tenting, a manned office, a laundromat with four washers at $1.50 per cycle and four dryers at $1.00 per load, restrooms/showers, a horseshoe area, a picnic area, and a community firepit. The owner who checked us in was very pleasant and helpful. Sites are reasonably priced.

We have stayed here twice in the last couple weeks.... One going up, one coming back. Owners are very accommodating and pleasant. They have a nice shower/bathroom area (clean) and a laundry room with machines that are affordable. Would recommend and would definitely stay again.

Fantastic park for short or long term stays! I stayed 5 months last year for work and am staying again this year. Staff is very friendly and helpful. A great location with a lot to do!Nearby activities: Toadstool geographic park, Fort Robinson, and Agate fossil bed are some of the great sites to visit. Black hill are also only an hour and a half away!Noteworthy details: Walmart is just across the street for all your needs. Wifi is works greats. Washers and dryers on site. Abundant trees that provide nice shade during the day.

Really nice, comfortable stay over 3 days in October. Recently remodeled bathrooms/showers were best seen in a while. Lots of hot water. Washers/dryers 5 stars. Yes, sites are close together, but the shade is great, the compacted dirt/gravel drains water really well and doesn t get muddy. Really friendly staff. Love this place.

We stopped for the night, Staff friendly and nice.had full hookups everything worked, New water vales noted on the water stands. The Men's Bathroom was being remodeled so we have to use the Ladies bath and shower. and put up the "occupied" sign and lock the door when in use. Not a big deal but a bit of inconvenience. The sites or dirt-gravel and with the recent wet stormy weather they were some muddy ones, ours was dry and level. There were a few old cars parked in sites that appeared to be in storage that gave a bit of a car park feel to it, also had a bit of a run down feel, but Overall a nice place to stay for a night or so.

The spaces are really close together. If you have a spot near the dirt road you will continually have a filthy vehicle. Nice people who run it and they are working on much needed improvements, due to the age of the park. The showers and laundry are are newly painted and really nice.

Very Nice woman (Robin) who checked us in. Nice little campground. If ever in the area again, we'll definitely stay here again. Price is incredibly reasonable. Thank you Robin for making our stay so nice and easy.

We stayed here overnight & it was nice. Staff was very accommodating. It is an older park but it is clean. Restrooms & laundry was clean. No sewer hookups but good WiFi. If you are expecting a resort this isn t it. Great place for an overnight stop.

Convienent: it's just outside of town and is easy to get to (located just off the highway). It's very clean: the bathrooms are maintained and the lots are kept in good order. There is lots of shade and they recently planted more trees so in the future there will be more. The only minor draw back we've noted is that the water has a very strong sulfur smell so you may want to buy a second filter for your camper to place on the hose.

A nice basic park. Services set up well.Sites not quite long enough to keep toad connected, but about 50+ ft pull the US. Some satellite friendly sites. US 20 nearby is busy but not at night. Friendly, helpful owners.

My wife and I were on a trip from central Iowa to the Black Hills, SD. We were 700 miles from home and our check engine light came on. They were the only place in Chadron, NE that was open on Memorial Day. They were able to put a code reader on and determine the issue. They were so kind and genuine that I had to force them to take a $20. I would highly recommend them. They were some of the nicest people.

We needed a 50 amp and this park had one where the State Oark only had 30. We got the last slip at the end of the day. It was tight for our 43 ft RV. The road was dirt and some gravel. The owners were really nice.

Great park with great shade trees. The owner was very friendly and helped us know what to visit in the area. We happened to be on town for Fur Trade Days ...which was a unique festive time near the park. The park was quiet, and they were working on some waterlines to make the pressure better at the park! Love seeing owners put back into it. Only downfall was the WiFi didn't work very well but I think that was caused from the actual internet company. Beware of those gravel roads getting SUPER dusty in the summer, nothing a little car wash can't handle!

It's ok, very dusty from surrounding roads... also we have dogs and we pick up after them and also run them away from the campground for exercise! And to go to the bathroom... be prepared to come back to other people's dog's crapping all over your little area you have in front of your camper this makes me mad! Pick up after your DOGS! And people let them come and basically pee on your steps... ya not cool at all... my dogs where disgusted by it!.. dirty... yuck!

Very close together, very crowded camp ground. Showers were ice cold water, let the water run for more then 8 minutes and they still didn't warm up, but I will say the bathrooms were clean, but then you can't use them! Will be driving by on the way home!!
