This is the worst hotel experience I've ever had. there's no fridge, there no ice, there's no phone, there's no Bible, and the staff was literally never up front. and I needed an extra pillow and what hotel doesn't have extra pillows? and your pillows feel like there stuffed with toilet paper. at least sum of them were ok and the worst part is. the main thing we were at this hotel for was the pool. but there INDOOR pool is only open in may! and I'm like who wants to swim in an indoor pool in the summer? indoor pools are for the winter. but this was the most uncomfortable hotel ever highly Unrecommend

It s dirty. I checked in at 3pm and the front desk person was coughing non-stop and I had to hand her my id. And the breakfast room was not thoroughly cleaned. There were crumbs all over, dirty tables, and stuff still out from breakfast. There was an empty energy drink can on the lobby, overflowing garbage cans and dusty room that could use a good wipe down. I came back through later and it was never cleaned up.

We were there for Fur Trade Days and a class reunion. The guy up front was super helpful and very hard working. He got us anything we needed in a timely fashion and even made she we had extra towels when we got back to the hotel. We appreciated his help and making sure we were well taken care of. It's a good price and they have out a lot of work into improving it! Huge difference from the 1st time we stayed.

Parking lot is tiny. Front desk was manned by the owner wearing dirty clothes, looking very unprofessional. Elevator's last yearly inspection is from 2019. Room: no coffee, no mini fridge, black dust falling from vent over toilet. Shower was missing pieces. Bar holding shower curtain had large amounts of chipping plastic. No water pressure. Other peoples hair in the bathroom. Dirty towels. Sheets on bed feel like sand paper. Bed is old and falls in the middle. Holes in the walls and the art work. Some sketchy people hanging out in the hall on our floor, even standing in front of our door staring at it. Spend the money and go to the Holiday Inn.

We checked in late the night of July 22nd after driving all day. This was the only place with available vacancy. We were told by the partial owner that their partner had left the hotel a mess with no clean rooms and they d been playing catch up. We were warned of hard water stains in the bathroom and a lack of pillows in one of the rooms we rented. We were not informed that we would not be given any towels to use, nor that I had accidentally left my orange Stanley cup with easily identifiable stickers on it at the front desk when we checked in or out. I have contacted the lady that checked us in twice within 30 days of our stay asking that my property be returned. She admitted it was in her kitchen. I was asked to text the hotel with a reminder, which I texted to the main number as I was not given any other contact information when the text was requested. After no response I called and was told I texted the wrong number. I asked that she take my address down this time instead of my recording the correct number as we were on the phone. I have yet to receive my property over a week later.Extremely unprofessional! Do not recommend!

Room smelled like smoke. Filthly room. Did not notice there was no smoke detectors until getting ready for bed. Went to call the front desk and there was no phone hooked up. Found smoke detector in a drawer. Went to tell the front desk attendant and there was no one around. There was no evacuation plan on the door of our room and no notification of the last fire inspection. Very unsettling. I took pictures of everything.

This hotel needs some serious attention. There are not many options to stay in Chadron, NE so you are at the mercy of the hotel. Building is in very poor condition. Pool closed, office bathrooms were very dirty. The room has very poor lighting, mold on the bathroom walls, ceiling, bathtub, and shower curtain mirrors in the bedroom had streaks all over and holes in the window screens. The floors looked like they had not been vacuumed. The staff seem to do the best they can with what they have. However, I am embarrassed for them. Travelodge corporate should be paying their customers instead of the other way around. They need to listen to the reviews and help the staff make it better. Sleep in your car.

Great hotel! The room was clean and spacious, in addition to the king size bed there was a pull out coach that another person could sleep on. Would be great for a family stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was fresh though selection was limited. Internet was slow and the light in the room was dim. But overall for the price we were very impressed with the quality of our stay.

Gave it 1 stat because you have to. Three story hotel with a broken elevator. We had requested ground floor rooms due to disabilities couldn't accommodate us. Handicap parking was quite a ways from main entrance. There was a side door but it couldn't be accessed with the key card. You have to go into lobby then down the to the end of the building to reach the stairs. Rooms, clean, small but adequate. No safety locks on the door. Our cards didn't work the second night, twice so two extra trips for my husband to the lobby. Pool closed. Breakfast very poor, one air pot of coffee. I get Covid precautions but 1 bagel & 2 muffins is pretty limited.Price was good but make sure what you are getting. I had tried to call the hotel direct about the first floor room but the phone always went to reservations. When my son who also had a room ask about our room & was told Wyndham doesn't run their hotel they do. I doubt if we will chose Wyndham as a first choice any more.

1st off let me say that the staff were very friendly and told me before hand that they were renovating the rooms in the hotel. That being said I have complaints. There's a reason it's being renovated. The carpets were disgusting, stains everywhere in our room. The bed was as comfy as the floor. The chair had a hole in it and I could feel the springs poking into my behind. There was no soap, shampoo, or conditioner. There very few towels, just enough to give my 2 little boys a rinse(since there was no soap) and I reused one for my hair. In the morning I woke up to a visitor on my bathroom floor. Very nice looking nickle size spider and a puddle around the toilet on the floor as well. No where on any site were we warned they were renovating. I probably will never stay here again despite the nice people and great rates.

The front desk staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. But I was there Thursday afternoon through Sunday morning and my room never had housekeeping come through to change out my towels, remove the garbage or make my bed. The cost of my room was just the same if I would have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express.

First thing I noticed, the room smelled like old cigarettes. There was a dead bug in a drawer, the slidding window when opened looked as if it was going to fall off, home in the screen. The widow will was filthy. The tub and shower faucets were dirty. The outlets didn't fit very well. There was a fist hole in the bathroom door. And no room number. Ok it was late we stopped in the town before the one motel was booked so we continued to this hotel. Grossed out by it's lack of cleanliness. So in the morning I showed all these same photos to the desk staff. All he said was wonder who cleaned that room and was the bug dead He was more concerned about looking in his book to see who did the cleaning. I then told the man by the looks of the room no one has done a good job cleaning in a while and I wanted to take a shower, being I paid for the room, but I wasn't standing in that or touching that. All he said was sorry. Not a we'll kept hotel. Don't stay here there are others in this town. Gross

DO NOT STAY HERE.First, our room didn t have a shower curtain or towels, so I informed the front desk. The lady was very nice and moved us to a different room. Minor inconvenience. Not bad.The second room smelled intensely of cigarette smoke and ended up having bed bugs! She moved us again and the third room seemed cleaner but had no fridge or microwave.Basically, it was a horrible stay and since both my sister and my house are at risk for a bed bug infestation, I asked them for a refund. We will see if it happens!

Trash. The ice machine was broken. The bed were hard as hell. It smelt like smoke, there was a hole in one of the doors, no latch but a chain on the door. But the most worst parts are there was dead bug in on of the drawers. There was stains on bed in drawers on wall. The people at the front desk did not even wait till I left to start talking about don't leave you diaper before you leave they are in the cabinet. One lady at the desk said to the others. The place was complete trash.

This hotel is in horrible condition. Pool shutdown (and now I'm glad it was). First room I was given had the A/C unit laying in pieces on the floor and not on. Very hot in room. Went back to front desk (because there was no phone in room). Was told there were no more rooms available. I had 2 rooms reserved and when I told the clerk to just cancel both rooms and I will go elsewhere, magically another room became available. No coffee maker or fridge in rooms (website says they all have them). Bed hard as a rock. I would go anywhere else than have to stay here again. I would sleep in the car. Save your money from Wyndham

Staff was friendly and attentive but everything else was bad. Elevator was out of commission because there was an accident in there and they had to clean it. Hairs and dust on bedside tables, mold and soap scum in the shower, old toothpaste on the mirror, chain was broken on the door, bed was very hard, stains on the bedding, fridge in the room was filthy, AC was either too cold or turned off, tv didn t work but we called down and they came up and fixed it right away. I immediately wiped everything down that we would touch with alcohol wipes that we had with us. I don t think it had been cleaned at all except for (hopefully) fresh towels and sheets. I guess you get what you pay for but I would have rather slept in our uhaul \_( )_/

Had the room not been fairly clean, I would have probably left. We had a reservation, and when we got there, there were signs stating no vacancy, pool closed, elevator not working . Took awhile for the manager to check us in in a very dimly lit lobby. The manager told us there were 19 rooms out of order due to AC. I believe there were a total of 4 guest cars in the parking lot. There was no breakfast.

3 days reasonable price & with pet. But First the hot water took for ever to get hot. There was ants in the room. Moved to a different room and the refrigerator had mold all inside and didn t even work and the microwave was all nasty inside. Don t waste your time on this place. I have stayed in run down motels but were cleaner then this. Very disappointed. Doors still messed up & no hot tub or pool. So here just to lay my head down then get up and leave.

First off, the hostess was incredible. We arrived at 10 on exhausted. The walls are thin. The person in the next room had the TV BLASTING ALL NIGHT LONG. I finally fell asleep around 430 am. Breakfast was cold cereal and toast. Half the breakfast room was dark...no light bulbs in the sockets. We used the public bathroom before leaving. Had to guess which was boys/girls. One of the two stalls seats was covered in poop spray. Pool was closed for maintenance.

Excellent Wyndham property. Upon check in we were accommodated with our 2 crated and 1 service animal. Price was within my travel budget. Breakfast was yummy. Excellent rooms, comfortable and shower was just what we needed. I recommend this property and will stay here again.

I left my purse in the room and called as soon as I remembered where it was and was told that the room hadn t been cleaned yet and the gentleman on the phone took my number and said he would go check. Never received a call back and I called them back a lady answered and said no purse was found.I called after I talked to the police about another hour and the gentleman answered and I asked about my purse and I heard a lady in the background saying there was no purse and the man said bye and hung up.Way Shady. I know they found my purse. I even tried to email them and tell them to keep the money just send my purse and belongings back but my email was returned undeliverableNot a nice hotel at all. Mold on ceilings and exhaust fan was real noisey.DON T STAY HERE. WARNING

I would take this star away as well. Toilet seat broken. Replace a long oval with round seat. Really? Asked for bathroom to be cleaned as shower had stuff on walls and dirty floor. 6 hours later they showed up. Didnt touch floor. Emptied the 1 gal (if that big)trash and didnt take items that had fallen out since they didnt fit in it. Parking lot looks like the place has been abandon...18 inch weeds everywhere and pieces of wood on sidewalk below our window. Front entry looks like the outside of a bar where spilled drinks have stained sidewalk. Emergency door on out end of building blocked off with yellow tape on it to not use. Ceramic tile has spills that havent been touched while we were here. Holes in carpet in elevator. Pool not open. Front desk seldon has anyone there. My key didnt work so went back next morning and had to hit button for service more than once for anyone to come assist me. Very disappointed. We were here last year and did not have these issues at same time of year. Wont be back

Our room was filthy, the sheets were stained and smelled like piss. The sink was dirty, the flooring was cracked in the bathroom, there are small black mold spots above the shower, and the top of the armour was filthy. Everything in the hotel was broken, the ice machine was broke, the hot tube was broke, the pool was broke, the side entrance door to the hotel... broken and there was sign taped to it that said fire exit only and the hotel will charge you $50per time you use it. This place really needs help!
