STAY AWAY!! One star is being generous. Waiters always get something wrong on the order. Food can not leave the kitchen in the same order as orders come in. I'm pretty sure meat is rotting because it had a green color to it and smelled a bit off. My girlfriend's stomach started aching immediately after leaving the restaurant and had to bring it all back up getting home. Hopefully we don't end up with food poisoning. We'll not be seen there again.

This motel was awful. Cigarette burns all over the carpet, smelled terrible, lights flickered, and was just outdated and overall dirty. They have sealed mattress covers to prevent/kill bed bugs (and one of them literally had a hole in it). Nasty place. Do not stay here. I walked in, looked around, and walked back out. I went back to the front counter and asked for a refund, saying that I don t want to stay there. She had to get the boss, and I told him all the reasons I m not comfortable staying there, and he said they would refund me. That s about the only thing I m thankful for.Rooms: Smelly, dirty, scary!

HORRIBLE!!! $45 for 2 beef hard shell tacos that tasted like chemicals, 2 soft tacos with beans and rice... advertised at $2 each.. couldn't eat the tortillas they were rock hard... the 3rd meal was to be 2 enchiladas that were the size of 2 burritos with slimy soggy tortillas. The "free" chips and salsa we couldn't eat due to the chips being hard as rocks!!! This is far from Mexican food and the prices are insane. Would not recommend!!!!

The room was clean and neat, but we wanted to relax and watch tv our first evening. Unfortunately, the TV wasn't properly hooked up and, in spite of several calls to the office and promises that it would be fixed, no one ever came to look at it in the two days we were there.Safety: There were no safety strips in the tub, making a slippery shower floor.Food & drinks: The restaurant served good food - although they forgot to season the taco salad, so it was simply hamburger and lettuce in a taco shell. The servings were very generous.

The owners were nice, but that s the only positive thing I have to say about the experience! Our room was gross! After walking around for less than 10 minutes the bottom of my white socks were black! We also kept finding small rocks and stickers that I m pretty sure we didn t bring in (as my toddler was bringing them to me from a part of the room the adults hadn t been to yet), which leads me to believe the floor wasn t vacuumed after the last occupants. One of the beds also had black hairs all over both pillows, and there was a gross stain on the side of one of the mattress covers.I was looking forward to the on site restaurant which was one of the reasons we chose this place, but upon arriving we learned it was permanently closed.

The Meadowlark Inn is absolutely the BEST PLACE!!! They helped me with a room when Amy, at Circle S Lodge decided after I drove 4 hours, she had no rooms available even though I had a reservation. So I was so lucky to come to Meadowlark. My room was so great, cozy, clean, big, comfortable, perfect. The staff here are so friendly, helpful, kind and all out great customer service. This place is a hidden mom and pop gem, you can't go wrong staying here. Yes it's an older hotel, but a wonderful quiet comfy place to rest your head.

When I saw the menu, one item jumped out at me: Chorizo con huevos. I was not disappointed! Excellent breakfast. The rice is the best I have had in a long time - excellent flavor that is lacking in most restaurants' Spanish rice. The service was also friendly and very fast. Highly recommended.

I've had better food in a Texas lockup where the food was made in a stainless steel toilet next to the hooch. If Putin takes us all out, and this is the only place left to get food, or water... I am going to be saddened I didn't go out in the initial blast. We started with getting chips and salsa. We got brought out what can only be described as a "salsa shortage size" dish of salsa. maybe 3 tablespoons. not good salsa either. We follow that with what they described as "cheese dip" that im sure dawn dish soap is the main part of the recipe... I STRONGLY SUGGEST NOT. That's where we stopped. 2 drinks, chips, salsa, and cheese dip. 12$... not a lot to choose from.

Went to the restaurant for breakfast and had one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had. Our order took 45 minutes, when our food was delivered it was not what we had ordered, and the waitress sped over to our table to lay our ticket down right next to our empty glasses of water (never refilled) and sped off without saying a word. The worst part was when I went to pay, the cashier never even looked up to acknowledge I was standing there. I finally left cash on the counter and said to keep the change. Having worked in food establishments and in customer service my entire working career, I ve never been so furious leaving a food establishment. I hope things get better..

Rooms was very clean. Good for the$$. Staff went out of there way to be helpful. The restaurant attached to the hotel has the kindest employees. The food is terrific, and great price. Just note front desk and restuarant close at 9pm. It was a great night. Thank you

The restaurant is excellent. I came in 20 min before they closed. I was treated excellent and was served one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. (Pizza burger). Seriously. The cook jumped up to make my burger when I ordered it. Anyways, I'm also staying at the motel. Nice place, fridge, microwave, comfy bed. Would recommend heavily!

Rooms are adequate and clean. I've stayed maybe 4 times. The last time I stayed we woke up with someone in the room. I think the person was cleaning staff, who came in around 6:30 a.m. without knocking. I won't be coming back if I can help it.

Motel is ok.Just ok. I had to clean the filter on the heater to get a warm room. 15 degrees out.Bed was ok. Room was not very clean. Had nice towels tho.Tv had dish network with plenty channels. I stayed here cause they have semi parking. $56 for a single. Double was $75.You ll want to bring your own pillow in. Worn out and flattened pillows in room.Place sucks. Not worth the $$$.

We loved this place because the service and the people were great. It was the small town hospitality that you hear about. The beds were nice, not the best, however they are such nice people. We had a trouble getting into our room after hours and they had a feeling come help us. Great place! Great food!

Food has went downhill except for burgers. Was THE place to come several years ago. Now the soup is room temp the mashed potatoes are cool not even warm.Their crispy fries are hot & yummy and the burgers are hot, the gravy is slightly hot not one thing was steamy in any of the 6 meals we ordered.

Wait staff does not acknowledge you even if you're standing right in front of them they can't even tell you they'll be right with you. Sunday morning breakfast there's only one waitress so tables were not being taken care of or served in a timely manner from the time we went in to the time we left it was 2 hours we had to get our own menus we had to refill our own coffees and that was even after they finally got extra help in there.

We stopped to eat at the restaurant on our way through and were very disappointed with our experience. The service was slow (no food 45 minutes after ordering) and there were not very many customers. We finally told them we needed to get back on the road and asked for the check on our beverages. They offered to box up our food in the next 3 minutes but did not apologize for the wait or offer any discount on the meals. The portions boxed up were very small. Don't waste your time trying to eat there. Go on to Sidney or someplace else to find a decent restaurant.

Went in for lunch. Plenty of room and felt comfortable but the chairs were old and not comfy. The service was good. I ordered a burger which tasted good and good size. I would eat there again.

The Meadowlark has great burgers and fries and friendly staff. There's an attached convenience store which I go to often as I work at the Pioneer Trails museum next door. On Sundays, they have a buffet which is pretty popular with the locals. The only negative things I would have to say is to avoid the roast beef. Otherwise it's all good country food.

The room was really roomy, you could tell it has new carpet. Fridge, microwave, flat screen TV, Dish Network. (We didn't use the TV but it's there.) -- The showers have really low shower heads so I (at 5'6") had to squat to wash my hair. The office is only open until 10pm so that makes late arrivals challenging. The staff was friendly however, and a bag of ice is included in your room, as well as a continental breakfast. It looked a little sad so we ended up ordering an omelette to go - it took over 20 minutes to get the order which was pretty frustrating. It was also not totally correct (butter on toast which was ordered dry and a missing side.) Overall a nice spot, especially for traveling in the middle of nowhere but you need to be sure you get there early. They also threw in two extra bags of ice for our cooler when we left. :)
