I love this place. Amazing staff, always willing to give advice. Have all the tools you need. Being able to use a lift to work on my car has been a game changer. If you know how to do the work and have experience working on your vehicle but want a lift this is the place to go.

I've never experienced such a honest mechanic. Very straightforward and good prices, one time they were fixing up my car and found another small issue. They took care of it and didn't even charge me! 10/10 recommend! I will always go to them for anything I need for my car. If I could give them 10 stars I would

Fantastic place. Took my teenage son in to teach him a few things. The place was nice, the staff was great, and they had all the tools I needed to install his new struts and sway bar links. They pulled the car in and got it up on the hoist for us and pulled it out when we were done. Great place and a decent price.

If you're looking for qualified mechanics at a fair price, then this is the place.I needed my alternator replaced and only cost $570 out the door while another down the road was nearly $100 more.Oh, not to mention, this is DIY so you could work on it yourself too.

Car care is an expensive endeavor. So is trust. Somewhere in between is the apex of value for money. DIY Garage is my ace mechanic after 28 years of patronage at shops and dealerships all over our community. We've had Adam and his crew do everything from tightening a bolt to replacing a transmission. In a time when consistency is fleeting, this is a business that I have always found to be forthright and honest. The truth is out there, and the truth is DIY Garage in Bellevue.

Great atmosphere. I learned that the last shop that worked on my car and put the control arms on put them on way too tight well me and my son put them on together at the shop and they were real helpful and long story short. We are safe again I will return.

I called and they had an opening very quickly and fixed our issue in a timely manner. The prices are extremely reasonable. They also are very knowledgeable, which gives one a lot of confidence in their ability to fix your car.

This place is a scam. The mechanic there charges you for the work, but they never do it. I doubt he s even a real Mechanics. More like Scam artist. I would never recommend anyone going here. They will rip you off and steal your money.

First, the tech climbed into my car and got my pristine seats filthy. The tech told me in a very rude way that he needed to show me how the lift worked so he could get back to his own work, as if my presence was an inconvenience. I was tired of hearing the two guys talk about how much they hate their customers, so I turned some music on. The tech told his buddy that he couldn't hear him because of the music, as if I wasn't there. It was clear I was not welcome here, because the three times I asked for help finding a tool, the responses were snarky and rude. They also made it clear they were going to close on the dot at 5pm. I had to rush to fill my oil, and when I asked one of the guys for a second set of eyes on the dipstick to make sure it wasn't overfull, he took a filthy rag, wiped the dipstick and stuck it straight into the engine. I had just used it to wipe dirt and grass off a funnel that was so dirty I decided not to even use it. Who knows what's floating in my engine now. My sendoff was the guy grinding my trans and stalling it, in such a hurry to get it off the lift so he could close at 5. I paid $120 for 170 minutes of lift time, but after this experience, I'm sticking with the dealership.

My suv broke an axle. It is my only vehicle and would be a hardship without it. Adam was able to make time to get it fixed quickly. His shop is very professional and does high quality work. I recommend using DIY Garage either to use a bay and lift to fix your own vehicle or have their mechanics do the job for you.Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

This is a great place to do the work on your car/SUV/pick-up. You raise the work up to you, rather than laying on the ground. I replaced my passengerside driveshaft and rear wheelbearing assembly. I'm not hugely mechanically inclined. They are priced fairly to use pretty all of their tools.

Great guy. Edit: After reading the other reviews: it seems some people are mistaken about this place. You have to figure out the repair manual ahead of time, you aren't supposed to ask them how to repair. You go in, use the stuff they designate to you, but you repair on your own and it's your liability. If you can go on All data, it works well.

We rented a bay to do some work on a truck and they are great! They had everything we needed and more. Highly recommend! We will use this place many more times.

You will not find a more reputable owner/master mechanic than Adam. He is honest, upfront and knowledgeable. This is a one stop shop. You can rent space to do your own work, pay a minimal fee to get assistance or have Adam take full care of you. I have an older vehicle and he's the only one that touches it! I highly recommend him!

Great place if you like working on your own vehicle. This is an independent shop that is family run. The gentleman who runs the shop (the main mechanic) has his hands full but he does a great job juggling everything. He is there to help if you need but he will be busy with other customer cars as well. The prices are fair for all the services offered. Definitely worth it to support a family run business.

Went to a dealership at first for a Pontiac that's worth maybe like 3k? They quoted me an astronomical price. Went to these guys and they got 2 Repairs done FOR LESS THAN HALF of what the dealership quoted me and got it done in a couple hours. 11/10 recommend

The service technicians are outstanding. They share their knowledge to help you understand what they are doing. Knowledge is power. They have honest billing. No surprise charges. The technician Frankie was very nice and courteous. I would recommend DIY for major services and oil changes. I had my transmission replaced in a couple of days. They even threw in an oil change. Highly recommend Frankie and the owner.

Horrible. Rude and started cussing at me Over the phone. Told me he doesn't care about not fixing the main problem the car was brought into him to begin with-and stated that I can go leave him a 1star review and he doesn't care! Who says that?? Many repairs on 2 cars and spent $$$thousands of dollars. Owner would put on receipt what's still wrong with it, even when that is what cars were brought to him to fix in the first place. Would take car into get fixed and he charged me for repairs but then the car is still doing the same thing & more! Left my cars there several times. It was a terrible experience. Last phone call telling him the minute I left the shop, that I can hear the same noises I brought it in for to begin with. He told me to drop it off and it have to wait again for days to be looked at and that he had other jobs and needed to go to lunch! That was after a $1700 bill! So over it! I hope someone reads this!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Adam has been nothing but helpful while dealing with all the issues on my car. I ve had an oil change, new spark plugs, new window switch, and a new tail light. Always fast and efficient, friendly, and very cost effective. His price ALWAYS beats the big box stores I get quotes from. Will be seeing these guys for anything I need that they can fix. They deserve 10 stars. Friendly, affordable, and fast. AWESOME place!!!

First time using this place. It was AMAZING!The owner was great and helpful. Real down to earth. His son was in the shop that day and kept my son company. They had every tool that I needed. And they were meticulously organized and labeled making it very simple to navigate.I got to use a lift on a starter swap that I'd normally spend on the ground on my back inches from the underside of the car.Tim even glanced over my shoulder and set me straight when I was going about something in an inefficient way.It took a several hour project in my home garage down to an hour and a half.AND they can take over when you give up or just do it for you from the beginning because it's a full service shop.Switching this to my go to place. No question.

Sorry I didn't write anything. The service was excellent. I went in to get a quote on air conditioning replacement. The price was over $130 cheaper than my regular place. The timing of the service was good also. I have had no problems with the A/C after a month. Just real cold air. Thanks.

Shop owner knows what they are doing, mostly retired vets work which is awesome. Great sense of humor when assisting repairs, and knowledgeable on other repairs that may need done when inspecting vehicle. Well spent $1500 on parts and assisted, full, or self service repair.

Worth the drive! I called to get a quote on front brake pads and rotors. Their price beat every other place I checked by a long shot. (Some other specialty brake shops I called wouldn't even give me a quote without doing an inspection of all of my brakes.) I got in the same day I called. It honestly took me longer to drive there from West Omaha than it did for them to change my breaks. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes and they didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need or ask for. They even did a quick test drive to make sure everything was good to go. Very friendly, family owned, great service. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a mechanic.

Great prices, easy to work with, and if you're working on your own vehicle they'll keep an eye out for you to prevent expensive mistakes.I plan to keep coming back and I'm out by Gretna.Update (8/6/22): Still come back here when the lifts make something that much more convenient.

One of the most unique businesses I've ever been to. I installed some rock rails on my Jeep Grand Cherokee and just one visit is enough to convince me that this is the place I'll go if I ever "need" a lift (or just don't feel like crawling around on my back) to do my own work. The owner is a great guy and it's good working with him when I needed help. I recommend this place to anyone interested in doing their own work!
