I ve been bringing our Subarus to Howies for a few years now and I wouldn t go anywhere else. Finding a good, honest mechanic is rare, and Howie and his team are the only mechanics I will trust to diagnose and repair our cars. They re not just experts at tyres and alignments etc. I go there for everything and however obscure they find it and fix it and they always do so at a very reliable rate they will not rip you off! They just installed a Complete AEV suspension upgrade, wheels and BFGoodrich tyres for our new Jeep and we couldn t be happier with their work and the price.

Amazing place! Maurissa was so helpful and hardworking. We were on a family vacation from ND and needed a new rim and tire on our vehicle. No where in town had a rim that fit our vehicle. Maurissa took time out of her BUSY day to help us find a rim so we could get back home. If it wasn't for her we would have been staying another night or two in Whitefish. She was able to put our new rim and two new tires on and away we went. THANK YOU Maurissa! We appreciate your hard work! Jess and Dustin.

I brought in my Hyundai that I have been having months worth of issues with. I had several mechanics look at it prior to coming here and none of them could diagnosis a resolvable issue. Within 20 minutes these guys gave me a diagnosis and honest advice of what to do with my vehicle moving forward. 10/10 highly recommend. Very honest and trustworthy!

They were very professional, efficient and helped me out when I really needed it! So glad they were open and able to get my truck in the very next morning. I truly appreciate their hard work and excellent job! They fixed my muffler and exhaust - my truck is a whole other vehicle and is sooo quiet and smooth running now. I highly recommend their service to anyone! :) and at very reasonable price for their hard work.

My daughter and I have used Howie for 20 years and he is the BEST....reliable, honest, personable and always gets the job done. I think he is the best in the Flathead Valley for tires, alignment, brakes, shocks , etc. And he always answers the phone himself. Amazing!

Earlier this summer I stopped in to check prices on getting my AC fixed on my 2007 Accord. He gave me a great price and was able to fit me in on the spot. Next, I was having issues with my steering rack bushings on my 2007 Tundra. Most places require the replacement of the entire steering rack which runs upwards of $1400 installed, but I was able to find aftermarket bushings and Howie was happy to give it a shot. When it was all said and done I got the bushings installed, truck aligned, all in a timely manner. The bushings work great, the price was a fraction of what other shops had quoted me and Howie has gained a permanent customer. I couldn't recommend them enough.

This guy knows his stuff! I have taken all of my cars there and have got nothing but the best experience. He has saved me so much money on what dealership's have told me would cost thousands he's has fixed the exact problem for half the cost and is up front about what costs what and why. Completely fixed my 4Runner for a wrong catalytic converter that the Toyota dealership said saw maybe a fuel pump. That would set me back $880. Took it to Howie, the catalytic converter was from a Subaru. Fixed it for $500 with new exhaust piping. SUV was apple to oranges different. I have about 4 other times when I asked myself why didn't I take to Howie's first. Les Schwab has messed my cars up so many times. I ask Howie first now for everything.

Top-notch service from a honest man who knows about cars. Not only that but Howie gave me a much better price than any of the large chains in the area. I would be a repeat customer based on the service alone, add better prices to that and I'm a customer for life.

some time i know whats wrong with my rigs and sometimes i do NOT. Howie is always willing to listen to my side and always says "ok great we will check it out..." first and gets back to me with what they actually need. he listens and hits a base hit every time and once in a while it feels like a home run. he is a solid player in the mechanic world you want on your team.

Having some serious issues with my truck still after taking it into a previous franchise auto service. Im new to area and used the reviews to find Howie's Tire and Alignment. Took her in and now thanks to Howie and his advice my truck is now running way Better and it did not cost a dime.

howie has been my go-to for years and has delivered quality work and parts every time. other auto techs in the valley have told me he s, hands down, the most knowledgeable in the valley.

He had our truck for 6 weeks two separate times because he didnt fix the issue the first time. He robbed us. Took money from us both times. Never called to let us know it was done. He waited for us to call and ask. Claimed he fixed the truck the second time yet here we are sitting on the side of the road. Brand new fuel pump out again. Not happy with the circumstances and that this is what we get after going without a vehicle for so long

Best place around to take your car, the Kalispell shop too. They have done tons of work to our vehicles, stand behind their work 100%, and treated us great! I highly recommend Howie's! (brian's auto by the way would be the worst choice you could make, they are awful and have screwed over many people in the area, you've been warned!)

We drove here from Tucson and was wondering if our tires were ok or not. We took it to Howie's to check. They are very honest and recommended that we did not need new ones.

Best mechanical service I've had in 45 years of driving. Best customer service I've had in 45 years of driving. Sounds like a syrupy cliche, but Howie feels like you're getting service from family.
