I recently purchased a new truck from Don K in Whitefish, Montana, and unfortunately, my experience with their service department has been some of the worst that I have ever experienced. Despite bringing the truck in for several service appointments, I found the service to be disorganized and lacking in attention to detail. On multiple occasions, they seemed confused about what work had been completed on my truck due to poor record-keeping. Moreover, I specifically requested routine maintenance tasks such as tire rotation and fluid checks since I am doing a lot of hauling with the truck. I was told during my last visit that I needed new tires after just six months and 10,000 miles of ownership. This inconsistency was frustrating, especially considering that during a prior visit, the service representative assured me that the tires were in good condition. Ultimately, I opted to have the tire replacement done elsewhere, at Les Schwab, due to the lack of confidence I now have with this dealership and their service department. While Don K has acknowledged their shortcomings and apologized for the poor service, it's disappointing to encounter such issues with a dealership. They have mentioned working on replacing staff and hiring new personnel to address these problems, which is a step in the right direction. However, as a customer, I expect a higher level of care and professionalism when it comes to servicing my vehicle. Overall, my experience with Don K has been disappointing and unacceptable.

We just purchased a vehicle from Don K. Tim Lannaghan was our salesman and I have nothing but amazing things to say about how we were treated! From the moment we walked in we were met with smiling, kind people! The process was easy and Tim listened to all of my needs and concerns and went above and beyond to find the vehicle that best suited my families needs! I highly recommend this place if you are searching for a new or pre owned vehicle! The attention to detail from the service department all the way to when we signed the paperwork and we were handed the keys was phenomenal!!! The safety of my family was always the number one priority and I couldn t be happier with my new Kia!!!

Wound up with a great deal on a great vehicle. The. Customer service was incredible. The salesmen were never pushy and seemed genuinely concerned in my needs being met. We couldn t be happier to leave this review for Dan Galvin at Don K, Whitefish. We went into the dealership back in July to to kick some tires. We had a new Ford Bronco on order , but we had recently also become interested in the Jeep gladiator Rubicon. We weren t there long before Dan approached us, just enough time to check a few rigs out, so we were ready to take a look inside. Dan was really friendly and easygoing, not pushy in the slightest, just a great guy to chat to. Soon enough, we went for a test drive. It confirmed what we had been thinking, that the Jeep would be a better choice for us than the Bronco. We chatted to Dan a bit longer, then a week later, we came in again to discuss placing an order. Before making our final decision, we asked if we could do another test drive, this time with the diesel. Again, Dan was great and said no problem. So we took it for a drive, loved it even more and made an appointment to come in the next day and put in our order.The whole ordering process was extremely easy and Dan was fantastic, like I said, great guy!! Fast forward 3 months and our Gladiator has arrived and we couldn t be happier with it and the entire process. Everyone at Don K that took care of us was super helpful and friendly, communication was great and Dan went above and beyond to make sure we got everything we needed. Needless to say, we cancelled our Bronco order

My experience at DonK with Tim as the salesman was overall, pretty great. He answered any questions I had well, gave me a trade in amount a little above the minimum I wanted for my previous vehicle, and was very personable. My wife and I are happy with the car we got.

Looking for a car is intimidating! You go in with the idea that you know exactly what you re looking for boy was I wrong! Amanda took the time to allow me to test drive vehicles without asking any questions! It only took me two test drives to know that I found the car I came for the paper work process always takes the longest! I don t know about any of you but I know we like to make it a family affair! We had four generations at this dealership! My granddaughter who is almost 2 was welcome with loving and caring arms! Amanda made her experience just as amazing as mine! Treats, toys, slime, pen caps haha, drawing, coloring knowing how my granddaughter was treated will help ensure Amanda has a customer for life! This will include my kids and the rest of my family! Thank you Amanda for an awesome experience and helping me to find just the right vehicle!

Love my Jeep, despise DonK. Brand new 60,000 Jeep, but I didn't get the 200,000/20 year warranty because the vehicle was originally ordered for another buyer who declined it. Makes perfect sense, right? Now they insist I let them charge me to replace filters or it void the warranty. Guess what my response is?!BTW, great service people. No complaints there. But I'll never buy another vehicle from DonK, and I go through my vehicles every 2-3 years. They didn't care. I don't get it!Edit, response to your response. Yes, you gave me no choice and made me work for it for months. I'm still not impressed.Signed,Just a Customer

On 1/25/24 I totaled my 2011 GMC Terrain. I was devastated. My husband gave her to me for my birthday in 2011 - she was my first "big girl car" - I had always driven small cars and the Terrain made me feel grown up and capable. Losing her was like losing a family member and I was definitely not in a new car mood. However, because of health problems, I needed a car for appts, etc. We decided to look at Subarus because of their safety records, their resale value and their support of charitable activities. So we went and we were blessed by having an exceptional sales person - Amanda Thomas. She was knowledgeable, personable and a pleasure to work with - she made it easy. She educated us on Subarus and their value. We went for a test drive - my husband driving because of my injury when I wrecked my Terrain - he loved it! She made the whole experience pleasurable - an adventure into the world of Subaru and I fell in love with small cars again. She insured a seamless transition between us and the finance folks, she made sure the car was clean and ready to go when we closed the deal. She turned a very sad situation into a positive experience.I would advise any of my friends and family to go by Don K and meet Amanda. She will literally take you for a ride. Then you will "almost" enjoy giving your money to her because you know that you're getting value that will last a long time.Thank you Amanda for being sympathetic, empathetic and making me feel positive about my purchase. These guys at Don K are just amazing people the finance guy (Josh) worked some magic and got me approved and the papers drawn up in an hour after closing time!! I m super happy with my new vehicle and my daughter loves it, too Travis picked it out after chatting with us, and it has every feature I was looking for. I really didn t know what I was looking for when I went in just the monthly payment I wanted to leave with! Ramon Gomez was my salesman, and he just went above and beyond at every step. I have never had such a great, welcoming, enjoyable car-buying experience as I did this week with Ramon. Thank you!!

End sexism in the automotive industry. When we re quoted a service price online, that is the price we expect to pay. I understand that a car may take more oil than expected, but I have never in my life paid ~$150 for an oil change. Ever. The cost of a new battery was also $60 over the listed price. And while I appreciate the service advisor knocking off $100, that just confirms that the original price was just a gross overcharge they thought we d take. Next time we need help we know that the crew at Don K is only looking to take advantage of that vulnerability.

Blake is hands down the best at what he does. We have now bought 3 vehicles from Blake and he has made the process so easy. He is not pushy nor does he employ the crazy gimmicks that most salesman do. We will definitely be back to him for our next purchase.

Service department was so backed up to the point of not being able to get my truck in for several months. I was stuck in limp mode and my check engine light was on. I had no choice but to trade my truck in as I could not be without a vehicle. The truck trade in process was not bad though. The team did a solid job on the whole process.

I have 2 jeep renegade that we can never get in for service. Now our 2021 renegade turbo (that our 20 yr old son drives for work) is having lights come off and on, getting stuck on (my husband had to show him how to disconnect the battery) and once off it doesn t restart all the time. There is 20,000 miles on the is vehicle, still pretty new. And full warrantyOnly problem is Don K won t get us in until MAY 5.At this point I want to just dump all our jeeps if we can t even get them in for warranty work. It s very frustrating he has to get to work and to have a brand new car not reliable or usable for the next 4 months is pretty messed up.

I have been servicing my 3 Subarus for about 15 years here. Ioved convinience and quality of work that I received. Sad to say but it is time to change most probably. First it stopped working on Saturdays, then cars are not washed after service any more, then appointment needed for oil change, now punch cards are canceled. And today I was told that credit card payments are charged now 3% more. What will be the next "improvement"? People that work here in Subaru services are very nice, but almost every time I come to change oil I find new faces...

I had taken my 2500 Duramax to Chevy dealerships in CA, Oregon, Washington and Idaho for problems with my 7 way trailer hitch. It was last September and they were booked for months. I'm a full time RV gypsy. Jason and the service manager got me in right away and within a half hour Kirk the smart technician in the back had found the problem. They had to order a part and they worked me in around their scheduled clients. I've been in a lot of dealerships across this country but the Chevy guys at Don K went above and beyond in helping me. They even straightened out the mess the RV dealership created when installing my 5th wheel hitch. The people in the whole valley are lucky to have the people at Don K whitefish available to help them in a cheerful and accommodating way.
