I went into Don K's to test drive an Ascent mostly just as a comparison for a Honda Pilot I had scheduled to test drive later that day. I talked to Szymon Was and explained to him why I was there. He was great to work with. He let me test drive a Subaru Ascent and explained all the features while we were driving with no pressure to purchase at all.I went to my scheduled test drive of the Pilot and it just didn't feel nearly as good to drive as the Ascent, so My wife and I went back to work with Szymon so she could drive the Ascent as well. She loved the car and liked working with Szymon so we decided to make the purchase.From there Kelsey and Damon, the finance and sales managers, took great care of us. We loved the experience working with the people at Don K and will definitely be back again.

Zane was extremely helpful when I got my new Subaru. I told him exactly what I wanted and he made sure everything was there down to the trailer hitch. I may have hassled him a bit more than I needed but he was always eager to help out.

We have purchased 3 new Subaru cars there in the past and just purchased a 2019 F-350 today from Szymon today. 100 percent satisfied again. Planning on buying another new Subaru car next week. Finance man m, I think his name is Kelsey was fabulous to deal with. We came out of there knowing they really care about you understanding all the paperwork. Definitely satisfied (4 times now, soon to be 5). Will recommend and return.Keep up the good work guys and thank you.

We recent bought a new Subaru from Don K. The salesmen are great, no high pressure sales. We had to wait for our car to arrive and our salesman, Zane, was great with communicating the status and what to expect. We had one issue with the car that was completely out of the dealership s control and they were very nice about it and took good care of us. We would definitely buy another vehicle from them.

I had an amazing buying experience start to finish. AJ in sales helped make our buying process painless! He was able to answer all our questions and give us a thorough guide to our new car. The atmosphere at the store is very nice, unlike any car buying experience I ve had in the past. Highly recommend Don K Subaru!

Over the last 7 years I have counted on Don K for good service and fair dealings, in fact 4 years ago a Don K mechanic solved an alternator problem on our Honda Odyssey that had puzzled two other mechanics. This last time, however, I was sorely disappointed. I made an appointment, two weeks in advance, for repairs to the hatch door of the Odyssey. I also scheduled an oil change. When I arrived, however, I was told that Don K does not repair Hondas. When I suggested that I could have learned that when I made the appointment, the clerk simply said curtly that she had not made the appointment. I did get an oil change, but then was notified that there was a 3% fee for using a credit card. I had never been charged such a fee earlier. I will take my business elsewhere, and suggest the same to my friends.

Recently my experience at Don K have been troubling. My past 3 appointments (some drive in s too) were done but with poor diligence. Apparently, if you ask to get your tires looked at; they just look. I now have a locked caliper that took a close friend mechanic to tell me how he doesn t know how they missed this. There s a difference between solving a problem and solving a problem to prevent future problems, I m convinced they just like my money! Sorry guys, last time ever going here :/

Mike in the service department at the Subaru of Don K in Whitefish is fabulous. He has helped me for over a year and each time he has worked to find a way to help me. I bought my car 3rd party and have had some issues and Mike has gone well above and beyond to assist me in this frustrating experience. His customer service is excellent. Thank you, Mike, for being awesome. I highly recommend working with Mike.

Blake J was courteous, friendly, and respectful during our entire transaction...even when my trade in vehicle broke down! I really appreciated that he listened to what my car buying parameters were and didn't try to upsell...which happens so often at large dealerships! In addition, the other members of the Don K Subaru team were also very easy to work with. I highly recommend !

Don K Subaru ReviewAs summer draws to a close, I was reminded by Nan that I promised to write a review for the service we received at Don K Whitefish Subaru. We were on vacation and traveling on the under construction Going to the Sun Road July 4th. We experienced a side wall tire flat. Anyone driving on Going to the Sun Road this summer will know how dangerous it was. Driving next to Lake McDonald was like off roading on sharp jagged uneven rocky surfaces. I suspect we weren t the only ones to suffer damage this year! We limped back to Kalispell on a Space Saver spare.The morning of July 5th, we drove to Don K Whitefish Subaru where we met Carl from the service department. Carl was superb! As busy as he was, he was able to give us the attention we needed to set in motion the replacement of our tire. We were going to need a loaner. Without hesitation, Carl introduced us to Bill. Bill was able to put us in a comparable car and send us on our way. Two days later, as promised, we picked up our car. Our vacation didn t miss a beat.Carl and Bill saved the day for us. All in, we had a superior service experience at Don K Whitefish Subaru!

Ryan Horn, one of the Technicians is an absolute lifesaver. I was on vacation and had issues with my new Subaru s rear door for the trunk, he dropped what he was doing and accommodated getting it fixed. I didn t have an appointment and was away from my local dealership but he didn t hesitate to help out a weary traveler in need. I can only imagine that the treatment I received is indicative of the treatment everyone received at Don K Subaru.

My husband and I and our business use Don K for finding our vehicles because they have the greatest reputation in the Valley. Jason Kam over at Subaru is a gem! He turned our attention to "AJ" who is one of the greatest sales guys to work with! Thanks to ALL the employees who work endlessly with big smiles on their faces!

The cold weather froze the cable that opens the gas flap on our Outback so I couldn't gas up to return to Helena. That meant spending another night in the Flathead area. We booked a motel near Don K for Sunday night and slowly drove to Whitefish. (The gas gauge was below "E"!) I got to Don K Subaru first thing when they opened.. which they did promptly at 7 a.m. A service person named Cathy took care of me and immediately got someone working on the problem. They diagnosed the problem but needed to get the part in. Since I needed to get back to Helena they opened the gas door somehow from the inside.. I suspect removing or opening up the rear part of the cabin. It allowed me to gas up and return home. I gave their receipt to the dealership in Helena and they ordered the part in and will replace it here. But Cathy and the team at Don K solved the problem and got me (and my family) on the way home! Kudos to their service department!

My partner and I were in Whitefish for just a few weeks, when we discovered that the windshield fluid hose on our Subaru had sprung a leak. Not wishing to be traveling without the ability to clean our windshield, I contacted Don K's to see if they could help. Not only did they get us into the shop in a timely manner, but when I dropped the car off one day early for our appoitment, Kathy informed me they might be able to get the job done that day...and they did! From dropoff to job performance to pickup, the entire process exceeded expectations. I would definitely do business with these folks again. Thanks, Kathy!

We had such a great experience with their staff and team. AJ not only helped us find the right vehicle, but was patient through any questions we had. We didn't feel pressured in any way, but felt like the team was there to help us in every way possible! We will definitely be back when it's time to purchase another vehicle!

The sales department has terrible customer service the parts and serve department is amazing but I will never buy a car from the Subaru side of donk! The Chevy and jeep side all around amazing! I ordered a new Subaru and was told that because they did not have the vehicle on the lot I had to order one and then told me about that it was refundable. So I put down the minimum of $1000. After I left I never received a call about updates on the vehicle after three months I called them they told me that the car was going to be here in two weeks. I told them I did not need the car anymore because I was given a car and I asked for my refund. They told me NO I could only have it in store credits. When I asked why the sales department told me I could have a refund three months ago he told me I don t know why and I said if I had known that I would have never put the $1000 dollar s down and I had no idea that i was going to get the car I just got two days ago. So now I am down a 1000 dollars and Subaru is going to sell it to somebody else and make even more money. Please don t make the same mistake I did and go anywhere else.

I ve never experienced such outstanding service by a car dealer. I worked with Dylan and Mark. They were both very professional, honest, and diligent. They went beyond the expected and accommodated the sale process for me given my unique circumstances of my vehicle purchase. I highly recommend them both to anyone who is looking to buy new or used car.

This was my first visit to this dealership for service on my 2022 Subaru Outback station wagon and based on my experience, especially with the assistance provided by Ryan Horn I will make this the dealership I go to for all my service needs. The record of my service appointment and the need for a loaner vehicle while an undercoat was being done had been misplaced but Ryan stepped in and got the service ticket going and lined up the loaner vehicle. He was so helpful and cheerful when I arrived and found out they could not find the service order and was starting to think I would have to come back another time and then just like that it was all taken care of by Ryan. I am very grateful. So I have now another appointment for regular service and snow tires and I could not be more pleased with the service. Thank you.

I took my Subaru Outback to Don K regarding a recent recall. When I got home I noticed a screwdriver and a screw in the front. I stopped in the next day and Ryan took the time to checkout my situation and then fix it. The council had not been put back together correctly. He s very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Thanks again Ryan for your professional knowledge and help.

Fantastic service! Ryan was super helpful, accommodating and friendly when it came to getting me in a loaner vehicle and during the whole process. Carl is one of the most knowledgeable and skilled mechanics in the entire valley and I wouldn t trust my car in anyone s hands but his. He fixed everything in a very reasonable amount of time. Thanks a lot guys!

I needed a part for my Subaru that was only available through a dealer. The closest was this one, over 30 miles from where I live. I phoned them on a Monday. They told me they could have it in by that Wednesday and they would call to let me know when it came in. It did and they did, and when I went in the next day to pick it up, they were very friendly, helpful and efficient.

Never I my life have I ever been treated worse than what I experienced from Don "K" Subaru. After making a deal, had price in writing, they refused to sell me the car without adding $2000 to the sale price, all because I live in Billings, Montana. All this despite the fact the written order I received from them had my Billings address on it! We were going to title this to our Lincoln, MT home and that wasn't good enough for them. So after having my credit run, securing financing and ready to finalize, they demanded $2000 additional to move forward. Needless to say, we walked away. You should to in my opinion, as Don "K" does not treat all Montanians fairley.

Visiting this specific dealership on our way to Glacier NP made me realize how fortunate I am to have purchased my first Subaru!!! Wow!The customer service we received was 5-star. To add, Subaru is the most dog friendly car company I have encountered. The friendliness of the staff make you feel like a valued customer. Don K was able to save my flat tire (I had just purchased the car a few days prior in CDA, ID).Finally, shout out to all dealerships I ve visited since making my first Subaru purchase. :) :)

I have the pleasure of receiving the most outstanding service recovery at Don K Subaru. I had purchased a used Outback that started having mechanical issues. My husband spent a considerable amount of time working with Travis Squires, the dealership wanted to ensure our safety and overall satisfaction (our new best friend). The staff we met and talked with that also exemplified a genuine commitment to customer service we're Mark Guest and AJ Juliano (wanted to make sure I was familiar with all features of newer vehicle we opted for). And the last employee we met with was Josh Gale, he paid special attention in respecting our time and budget as we discussed financing (who ever really ever enjoys this part???) and we still had time to chat about beer recommendations! I am an observant customer, very sensitive to attitudes. I sincerely appreciate the way I felt as a valued neighbor, new to Montana. I will most certainly return in future, after experiencing first rate, VIP service (even though we are just regular happy people).
