Above and beyond doesn't come close to describing them. A huge thank you to Grenfell Auto for hooking me up with 4 new tires! The guys down there are fantastic (and their wives!) and I'm grateful to have a mechanics shop I can trust so close to home. Thanks again, you guys!

Grenfell went the extra mile and a half to get my truck back on the road. After dealing with some troublesome glow plugs, they made sure everything was working right on my screwy truck.Thanks so much for beimg what is good about the Bitterroot.

I recently used Grenfell Garage to have my horse trailer bearings repacked. I called just a few days in advance and they were able to work me into their schedule and had my trailer done by the afternoon! They were kind, efficient, knowledgeable, upfront about pricing, and went above and beyond in their customer service. Highly recommend!Service: Brakes

This shop has become a reliable and trustworthy place for me to take my personal and work vehicles to. They get us in quickly and are always upfront about the cars situation. This is my shop now, and I've been to quite a few different mechanics in my day!

They have installed an ATV plow/winch with wiring and done some tire work for me also. All the wiring was zip tied neatly and looked better than the factory work. Good attention to detail and a fair price. Highly recommend.

Brandon is a great guy. Best prices, friendly, professional. This is the first time in my 65 years that I have bought tires and when I got home and checked the lugnuts were torqued correctly and all four tires had the correct air pressure. They have a customer for life!

We have a 38' Class A Diesel Motor home, We lost power to everything except the engine, we figured it was the batteries, Bretz RV wanted to sell us batteries and install for $2800, we were able to take it in to Grenfel Garage, and they replaced the batteries, checked the inverter to make sure it was working, and we picked it up in two days and it cost us $1100! This shop is great, people are nice, knowlegeable, and very reasonable! Check here first if you are in the Bitterroot, and need repairs on your RV, or any vehicle! Brought in tires that I had already owned to have put on. They installed them for 60 bucks. And asked if I wanted my old ones. I said if you can take them for free, then that's fine, but if not I have a place to take them. Got in my truck and realized they charged me for disposal. I called them on it and the owner gave me the pissy attitude about how I didn't buy them there and the 60 dollar price was supposed to only be for winter tires and for their normal customers. That's what I get for trying to give the new guy a chance.

Very friendly and knowledgeable with past experiences. But $115 for an oil change on a Ford Focus? This was quite a shock when I got the bill (5 quarts synthetic, and 1 oil filter (NO air filter)).

They did excellent work on my car at a fair price. Everything went smoothly dropped it off and they said they would have it back to me the same day. Picked it up the same day everything was back to working the way it should.

They say they aligned my car, but it still doesn t drive straight! I asked if they test drove it and he blamed my tires for making the car weave horribly. Said my tires are like slicks. Strange thing is NASCAR drives just fine on slicks. I will never trust those guys to touch any of my vehicles. I've been to Grenfells a couple times prior for small quick repairs and was treated fairly. On my last visit I took in my RV because the slide out was not working. After my rv sitting there 2 1/2 weeks I went in too see why and the Manager started on a rant how "he's the Manager and he knows when to cut his loss'es and so on". While standing listening to this BS I'm thinking how hard is it to diagnose a 12v motor ???? I towed it home, tested the motor like any other 12v system (hooking straight to battery and by passing all switches) and as suspected the motor was bad. I diagnosed, pull the motor (4 bolts) and got online and ordered a new motor WITHIN 20 MINUTES. Unfortunately we had a camping spot reserved at Glacier and because it sat in there 2 1/2 weeks and it took another 2 weeks to get the new motor via mail our 4th of July camping trip was lost. I WILL NEVER GO BACK AND WILL REFER MY FRIENDS ELSE WHERE.

Went to sunnies earlier in the week, they quoted me at 1700, moved the truck here to get the same thing and 770. Friendly, understanding staff. Will go here again if needed.
