After a 15 hour drive we were greeted at check in by Beckie. She was prompt, professional, and accommodating. The hotel is very close to multiple fast food options. Very nice rooms and super quiet. I would recommend this place if you are staying in Sydney.Safety: Well light parking area.Walkability: Safe walking area around along with a workout area on first floor by elevator.Food & drinks: Nice pantry down stairs for snack. Multiple fast food options near by

Have been staying here past 3 years during our annual 2 week visit to Eastern/North Central MT. This hotel "has it all" for being your home away from home. If you need assistance on even the smallest detail then Derek and his team will handle it promptly. The rooms are great, full in-room kitchen, free laundry, mud room etc and good rates make this hotel the hands-down Winner.

I was very impressed in how clean the hole building was. The rooms is what blew me away. The size and how they had a kitchenette and had the basics in it. It was very quiet and peaceful. Definitely be staying here again when I come in town to visit my daughter. The only bad thing I have to say about the candlewood is the price in there snack room.

Amazing staff! Rooms are clean, up to date and appliances were clean and worked as they should. Great shower pressure. Bed was comfortable. Clean parking lot and grounds. Pet friendly. Loved all the details to accomodate a homey feel such as the small appliance share cupboard, back patio with propane grills, laundry on site and welcoming lobby. It made our one week stay very enjoyable.

I can't say enough about this place! Rooms were clean, staff were fantastic and went above and beyond. I ended up with a flat tire on my rental. Rental company was not helpful. The staff brought a compressor out in the pouring rain to fill my tire with air so I could drive to a repair shop. Not only did I avoid a big bill to the rental company but I wasn't forced to drive 4 hours back to Billings on a 55 max donut tire. I am so grateful for their above and beyond customer service. Thank you!

If only I could give this hotel 5+ stars.Everything was perfect. Cleans rooms. Excellent staff. Management was top notch!! When it comes to hospitality this establishment goes above and beyond. It didn't feel like I was staying at a hotel. It felt more like I was staying with family. Cory the manager made our stay here feel very welcoming. Thank you all for giving my family a memorable experience. I pray life takes us to Sidney again and we will definitely stay at Candlewood.

Friendly staff, lobby, hallsways looked clean, nice sized rooms, pet friend so that was a big plus. Then you have to say hmmm why is there thick dust on all surfaces? The face of the tub is nasty and dirty. Looked like it hasn't been cleaned in a long time. Housekeeping needs to take time and double-check the rooms. But really everything I said could be over looked but when staying in a places you hope everything is spotless. Or just could be me.

Incredibly warm and welcoming staff. I stayed here for work this summer and in less than a week, everyone was greeting me by name and letting me know whenever I had Amazon packages at the desk. On top of that, they sent me a holiday season note - I ve stayed at tons of hotels, and this is the only one that has ever made such a thoughtful gesture. While I probably won t be back in the area any time soon, I can say with confidence that if you need a place to stay in this lovely small town, the staff here at Candlewood will treat you like family.

Lemme start with the rooms, absolutely horrendous conditions. Got into my room first thing I noticed was a cockroach on the bathroom counter. The bed was still a mess and had stains from the last guests that I wont mention and the staff? One looked like they smoked so much pot that their brains must be replaced with it, and another one was extremely rude to me and cursed at me for asking for help. I'll never be returning to this hotel ever again and I'm disappointed that we live in an era where hard workers dont exist anymore

Very nice rooms. Friendly staff, except the lady at our check in didnt tell me there was an in hotel gym room and she didnt mention that we could rent dvd's free, that they uad behind the desk. There were players in each room.Big truck parking, better get there early.

The room was nice and it had great amenities but the biggest reason for the 5th star was that I was staying there to handle the affairs of my father who passed away the day before and when I needed more time to settle up his affairs in town they graciously moved our checkout time from 11am to 2pm free of charge when I told then the situation. It was greatly appreciated.

Great clean rooms, friendly staff and close to good food, comfortable dining and shopping.5/15/2019 review edit.I have been staying at the candlewood inn and suites for a couple years this last week I've stayed there a couple times. Last night 5/14/2019 I went to check in head reservations made over the phone and the girl at the counter was tremendously rude would not check me in because I didn't have a federal ID and a credit card which my room is direct Bill to our company. They already have my debit card on file they have my ID on file but she was just being rude and would not check me in. As a truck driver I was at a time to drive but I was forced to drive around the corner to the MainStay suites which gave me a room was very accommodating no questions asked I would recommend the mainstay over the candlewood anytime.

These folks are absolutely amazing!! Awesome accommodations, service and clean!! If we needed anything, all we had to do is ask...they made sure we felt at home! Which we stayed almost a month!!

Place is affordable and clean with well stocked rooms. Having a full size fridge with a range makes long stays pleasant.

wonderful staff open to suggestions for improvements. Good thing I stayed in the handicapped accessible room because my feet are shaped like spongebob squarepants at the end of a stick so it's hard to walk and my feet really hurt. The Candlewood crew not only will answer the questions they know the answers to already...they will research to learn something new...really special...I stayed overnight, and even though I live in Sidney, the next time I need to do a conference or gathering (I have an edible skin care business, Rua'h Kibriya) I will do it there or one of the other wonderful motels we have now because of the Bakken activities and accompanying riches.. we are so lucky in this microcosm of a microcosm out here on the western edge of the dinosaur flats....Genevieve Gwynne, Sidney, Montana...

Solid hotel for this area. Epic kitchenette to be able to make your own breakfast each day.Looking for a hotel in Sidney? Look no further then here.
