Sage Lodge is always a treat. We live just an hour away but it feels like we are on a full on getaway which is perfect for our busy schedules. We were celebrating our anniversary and the staff made it so easy to add on chocolate covered strawberries, a charcuterie board and other goodies to our room making it truly special. It was fun to have our dog with us, and loved our spa experience. Thanks for a great trip Sage staff!!

The view of Emigrant Peak from the lobby makes you slow down and appreciate the beauty of it. The armchairs right next to the large glass are excellent viewing spots. The atmosphere is very cozy, especially at night. The rooms are well-decorated and furnished. I like the spacious bathrooms a lot. Dining options are quite limited, though. There are restaurants in the hotel, but not much outside.

From the cleanliness of the rooms, thoughtful amenities, activities, planning experience, top notch food and beverage, and exceptional service in every department Sage Lodge was a dream retreat location. The stunning views are just the icing on the cake! A great time was had by everyone on our team and we can't thank the Sage Lodge crew enough - they went above and beyond in all areas! Looking forward to future stays as a company and as individuals.

Review for the spa only: I had a wonderful spa experience here! My masseuse, Nancy, was so knowledgeable and talented. One of the best massages ever! Not to mention the absolutely beautiful atmosphere & amenities. I will definitely be returning!

As the owner of Forever West Weddings & Events, a wedding planning & event design company, I have stayed in many luxury properties in both Wyoming and Montana. After my stay at Sage Lodge, I can confidently say that I highly recommend Sage Lodge to any engaged couple. The rooms are well appointed, the staff are friendly, actually helpful, and knowledgable about the area. The food in both restaurants is delicious. For a group of 120, a full buyout is a perfect option. Your reception in the lobby will be absolutely magical.Rooms: From the moment you step into your room, you will be impressed. Upon your arrival, they have music playing and low lights on - no stepping into a dark, cold room at sage. The mugs for coffee and tea are great, the bathtubs are wonderful, and every room has a fireplace.

My stay at Sage Lodge was an absolute dream come true. The location couldn't have been more perfect - surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of paradise valley, it was a truly magical setting. The staff at Sage Lodge were absolutely impeccable. From the moment we arrived until we left, their warmth and professionalism made our stay exceptional. They went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our stay was perfect, and their attention to our needs was truly remarkable. I can't thank the Sage Lodge team enough for making our weekend unforgettable. If you're looking for a stunning location and a staff that will make you feel like royalty, Sage Lodge is the place to be. Highly recommended!

Impeccable everything, from the rooms to the views to the service! Every thing was top notch - every single employee that we interacted with was genuine, friendly, and helpful. The lobby is cozy and warm, we spent almost as much time enjoying it, as we did the rooms. Both The Grill and the Fireside restaurant had delicious cuisine and great service. I was blown away by their level of hospitality, in every way - and can not wait to return again.

We didn't stay at the lodge, we came for New years morning breakfast. The whole package is very beautiful, inside and outside. The restaurant was not very busy, we were seated promptly, water, coffee, and menus were delivered soon after. I had the eggs Benedict, prepared perfectly, the hashbrowns looked like the end of the batch, but very edible. Husband had biscuit and gravy with hashbrowns. He said it was the best gravy he has had from a restaurant. You could definitely see it was made from scratch. Coffee was weak and just not very good, and we were charged $10 for cups. Our server Sarah, not sure if she is new to this place, or maybe stayed up to late the night before. We had a great window seat, and I could see almost the whole restaurant from my seat. Our plates were finally up under the lights. Sarah was with another customer, I know it is not her fault he was talkative. It happens all the time. In the meantime, another server walked over and moved our plates a bit. (Like, whose are these?)Sarah goes to the pick up area, but chooses to go to the kitchen and deliver butter to a large group, then back to the kitchen to deliver an empty plate. Then pick up a ketchup cup, put it on my plate, and then deliver our food. Just felt our food was pushed to the back burner, maybe in anticipation of a larger tip from the much larger group by the server.

Had a PERFECT stay at Sage Lodge. I spent a lot of time trying to decide where my sister and I would stay during our time in Montana and after much research chose Sage Lodge. I am SO glad I did! Sage was so warm, inviting and cozy. Our room was clean and had such thoughtful touches. The setting is beautiful and perfect for visiting Yellowstone and the surrounding areas while still feeling pampered! Could not more highly recommend!!! We hope to be back!Rooms: Room was so cozy! We enjoyed the fireplace and stocked refrigerator!Nearby activities: Perfectly located for visiting Yellowstone! Wonderful nearby restaurants!Noteworthy details: Such a beautiful setting. We spent two days in Yellowstone and my sister and I both agreed the area around Sage was prettier than Yellowstone was!

We had the pleasure of dining at Sage Lodge Fireside Room during our visit to Montana in June 2023. I had made reservations in advance of our visit. Thank you to Jessica who was quick to respond to my emails and very accommodating. We enjoyed a fantastic dinner and made it a point to also return for breakfast a few days later. Both meals were absolutely delicious! All staff and service here were excellent!! The breathtaking surroundings both inside and out should not be missed! Highly recommend should you have the opportunity to take in the beauty of Sage Lodge and Paradise Valley!

Have been dreaming of getting back to Sage Lodge since we visited last year! If you are looking for a true getaway - the trip out to Pray is well worth it. Wonderful food, kind staff, impeccable property and setting.Food & drinks: The onsite bar and restaurants are well worth the cost for some really unique drinks and meals.

We have stayed at Sage Lodge several times now. It is our favorite place to visit on the way to Yellowstone. The rooms have a beautiful view of peaks and the beds are comfy. The location is great as it is close to Yellowstone but also close to Chico Hotsprings. We love to go soak and comeback to Sage. The downside is the food. Regularly it is underwhelming. For costing so much we would like it to be better.

Stopped by for dinner and was seated outside. They provide blankets for you in case it gets chilly. Food was really good but expected a true dry age wagyu steak for the price we were paying. It may have been truly dry aged instead of "cheating" with the alternative method, but it almost seemed like they scraped the crust off before cooking..

The other reviews are spot on for this property. The lodge is in a spectacular location. Views for miles, gorgeous property, and really well thought out and comfortable rooms. The on-site restaurant was very good for both breakfast and dinner. We used this location as a home base for exploring Yellowstone, so sadly didn t get a chance to enjoy many of the amenities offers by the lodge, but they all looked fabulous. Staff was very helpful, and willing to go the extra mile. Highly recommend staying here if you have the chance.Rooms: Rooms were very nicely appointed. Free drinks available in the room. Kettle for boiling water, tea and pour over coffee available in room. Coffee/tea was also available in the lounge.Food & drinks: On-site restaurant was very good. Nice selection of options, presented well and tasted great. Staff was attentive without being overbearing and we never felt rushed. Bar was nice, and served some great cocktails.

This review is solely based on the Fireside Room and not overnight accommodations. We came 2 nights to enjoy the views.Pros: Food is great. Vegan Gnocchi is amazing and Parmesan Truffle Fries were great. Nice views when you can sit outside (more to come there). Service was good.Cons: Mixed drinks were mediocre. Night 2 we were not allowed to sit outside at one of the picnic tables as all tables had a reserved sign (note: not a single one of the 10 ish tables outside was occupied). When asking the hostess she said she was holding them just in case a large party came in.That said, if you want to enjoy the amazing views while dining outside, it s a crapshoot whether you can actually sit outside. We ended up leaving as a result and ate elsewhere.

Absolutely Love It! I have nothing negative to say as the lodging, dining, amenties and service were all 5 star. I would go back again in a heart beat.Just a few tips.........If you're dining in the restaurant within the hotel, know that they also have a bar menu that you can order off of in addition to the main menu (wish I knew this to start). The staff is very knowledable of the area so use them to help you find things to do. The hotel has everything you need to do any activity you want which is super helpful. My wife and I went there for her birthday and had an awesome experience. I would recommend trying to get one of the rooms with a patio on the downstairs area. We had the room with the bathtub and not the balcony and wished we had gone the other direction only because it was so nice to sit out and enjoy the view (we went at the end of August so the weather was perfect). On property we did the hike around the property and the wood burning, both of which were led by great staff. We did the hike around the property as well as rode mountain bikes, all I would do again! We also ate at the nicer restaurant and I can honestly say that I had one of the best steaks of my life (not the steak I posted here, this was in the dining room in the main hotel)! You're close to some good hiking and some GREAT BBQ (follow yer nose bbq) so just make sure you plan accordingly.Sage Lodge, we'll be seeing you again!

What a very special place in Sage Lodge is. The customer service was is good as any five-star resort I ve ever been to and each of the team members there. I interacted with deserve a shout out Natasha, Jessica, Sal, Dusty, Maddie, and Gabby. When we first checked in late in the evening we were greeted I believe Natasha who brought my wife some tea once we settled in and brought the luggage cart back down. Jessica was so incredibly nice and offered so much advice. Sal started the lobby fire place for us even though it was outside of season. The restaurant staff were amazing and ver accommodating to our large group. The food was so good we wanted to eat there every meal. The lodge has complimentary inside and outside games and laundry room. Yellowstone national park is only 30 minutes away allowing us to see more of the park. I can not say enough about the service and amenities. We even met locals that live 2 hours away that use the lodge as their weekend get away and after night there you ll see why.

Sage Lodge is such a wonderful place. The food at both the Fireside and the Grill was INCREDIBLE. Every single person on staff was personable, kind, super helpful, and wonderful. The activities are such a fantastic concept and so well done.On our short trip, we got to ski (not through the resort), go to the spa (Riley & Victoria gave INCREDIBLE massages), go into Yellowstone and see the wildlife, and cross country ski in the park. Nick was an awesome, personable, and knowledgeable guide for the park. The views were incredible, and the amenities were delightful. The rooms were so adorable and cozy, and everything was incredibly nice. We will most likely be returning to Sage Lodge.Rooms: Beautiful, cozy, wonderful. Tasteful.Food & drinks: The food and drinks were insane. I'd drink a fireside old fashioned forever.Noteworthy details: Everything was seamless and so so so incredible. The private tour of yellowstone was worth everything.

The rooms, food, ambiance and landscape are fantastic but what makes this place so special is the staff. My husband and I have visited Sage three times in the past couple years, this year bringing our newborn son. From reception to turndown, everyone we ve met has been wonderful. Shout out to Megan (and her adorable son, K), Mitch, Mike and Paddy from Fireside - you have always made our trips special. Looking forward to our next visit!Rooms: Fireplace is wonderful, nespresso great, beds comfyFood & drinks: Fabulous. The menu is wonderful - tons of options for all types of preferences. Breakfast, lunch and dinner all fantastic
