My husband has gone to the Polson Drivers Service Bureau twice in less than 5 days for CDL endorsement. He tested via paper test first and failed, only to let me know 3 days later that the individual grading him marked correct answers WRONG! he was reading the answer sheet next to her while she sabotaged him. Fast forward to today... he tested via computer test, the 2 women were extremely loud, laughing singing and talking amongst each other while he was trying to listen, he was told that he could skip questions and answer at the end if need be however he was removed from the test and told he had failed before he completed the test. These women should not be allowed to work in this capacity judging by our own experience and the multitude of derogatory reviews. I vote they be demoted to sorting medical linens.... seems like a better fit for their aptitude of the service industry.... Racial Profiling at its finest...

Take your kids to Missoula or Kalispell Sandy has a power trip fails kids on their driving test won t let them even finish the test then finds something else to fail them on the next time and again won t let them finish. Sad to see in our great community especially at a place that is supposed to serve our community.

I have been in the customer service profession for 15 years. Today I entered the DSB and was met by the worst GOVERNMENT employee of the century. Sandy was her name and I swear she enjoys hurting good Montana folks. She probably loves failing young kids on their driving tests. What a disgrace to our community and extremely sad she is not fired after reading all of the reviews. How is someone like her still employed? Zero stars. I would travel to Billings before I ever go back there.

I had a really nice person assist me. However, the customer service of the other person wasn't very welcoming. However, I got everything done that i needed to do and since it's the only option within 50 miles, you just have to grin n bare it.

Appointments are booked out for quite a while due to the huge influx of people moving to Montana. The Polson office is taking appointments from people in many different counties, not just Lake county because of the back log in other counties. They do take walk-in's as they can, in between scheduled appointments, but you need to be prepared to wait for a while. I was a walk-in with my son to get him a MT ID and did have to wait a couple of hours but was prepared to do so. Sandy and Sheila were very attentive to everyone that walked in the door. Given how busy they were I was very impressed with how they handled everyone coming through the door.

Sandy is the most rudest, unsocial and unbelievably unreal with the service she gave me. I had an appointment at 3:45 I was 15 minutes late because of construction and me and my mother were driving in from Kalispell! We walked in and right away she said that she couldn t help us and we apparently scheduled a different written test which we don t believe is true. She said that testing ends at 3 and I only had 45 minutes to take the test which wasn t enough time. That is not true my first test that I took only took me 15-20 minutes. Then she said that she also had to go to the bank and there simply was just no time and she couldn t and wouldn t help us! 2 hours of our day was wasted on horrible customer service. Don t waste your time here. I promise you will not get good results. Also this whole thing happened within 3 minutes. We got there, she said no, then told us have a nice drive so we took it as our invitation to leave.

I came in for a walk in and have been waiting for 3 hours. They even had two people go before and did a driving test while I sat here and waited. This business needs to get it's stuff in order. This is the only driving facility that is like this

They were great when I went in. I was over an hour early and they worked me rite in and treated me really nice even though they were extremely busy so made my day for sure. Thank you

I was a walk-in and waited a half hour. Then 15 minutes to renew my license, so 45 minutes altogether. Sandy was very nice and personable. A very good experience!

Haven't been to the office yet. This review is for the online appointment scheduling system. Is sucks!! Could not get out of an endless loop to actually schedule an appointment. I'll go walk in and will expect great service. My wife describes a very well run office. Too bad the State's programmers don't understand the concept of customer service. My request: Let me make the appointment!!! Don't waste my time by making me review the process you're hung up on!!!!

All of the reviews about the horrible customer service are spot on. The woman working there needs to reassess her life choices because she appears miserable. Every single person who walked in to receive help from her, which is her JOB, was treated like an absolute burden. Additionally, she was zero percent helpful in trying to problem solve license issues. I would recommend driving to Egypt to renew your license before dealing with the staff at this location.**AAA in Missoula will get you in and out and the staff is so pleasant!

Sandy and Jim are both so nice!!!! It was very busy today, but they made sure our experience went smooth. My husband was transferring his license from Washington State to Montana and upgrading to the enhanced license, and it went very fast. Jim and Sandy both were very helpful and friendly. In all the years I have been driving, I have never had such a great experience at a DMV.

Horribly rude women that work here! The treatment you get from the moment you walk in the door until you leave is unreal. Maybe they should hire people that have customer service skills and are friendly. I think I would rather drive the hour to Missoula than go here again.

The make clerk was horrible! He had 1 scheduled appointment. My son had been told to return in 2 weeks to retake his written test. No appointment necessary. The old man refused to help us and told everyone to leave. He didn't take walk-ins. He was rude and a liar! The other 4 people waiting with numbers had to leave also.

I was really impressed by the woman that was working there. She had appointment after appointment and took every walk-in that came through the door. Also, she had to give someone a driving test and was still able to get everyone else s licenses updated or whatever they needed done. The wait time was a couple hours, but for being the only employee there that day was pretty amazing. Not like the other DMV s I ve gone to. The Kalispell DMV will turn you away if you don t have an appointment and then they refuse to help you in anyway. Forget Kalispell! Go to Polson!I can t remember the lady s name, but I want to give her an applause!

I attempted to get my Real ID today. But the lady who waited on me was also helping another customer at the same time AND ON THE PHONE!!!! I presented my birth certificate, social security cards, W2, PAY STUB, Valid MT dr lics , bank statements, and first class mail. SHE was so distracted AND RUDE .....all she could see was that my SSC was lamented. She refused to process my ID because of this. EVEN THOUGH I HAD 3 ITEMS FOR PROF OF SSN. I asked her to look at the list of items I brought but she shoved it back to me and said NO! Then she proceeded to ask how many times I had been married....... I told her ONCE I have been married for over 25 years! !!! Then she told me I had to get a NEW SSC AND BRING MY NEW MARRIAGE LICENSE! OBVIOUSLY SHE CAN NOT MULTI TASK. It should be a rule that they can only wait on ONE Customer at a time. MSO with same documentation got the id.....LOL Polson office is a joke!!! Do NOT waste your time by using the Polson office .......go to MISSOULA!!!

The last time I went in there I didn t have to make an appointment but this time they wanted me to wait in line just to make an appointment and there were people waiting all the way out the door and then they couldn t get me in for a month meanwhile my driver license expired that I need for work and it s because of all these out of staters moving here and changing everything so if you re thinking of moving to Montana don t we don t want you here

Very good experience. We did not have an appointment and did not have a terribly long wait. Staff was friendly and efficient.

Very friendly and helpful. Got my Road Test done in addition to my Written Test as a courtesy. They didnt have to do that but they did. Very refreshing experience. Thanks !

Horrible experience here. The lady checking people in is extremely rude and nasty. Would not recommend anyone to go here. Take a trip to Kalispell and save yourself the headache.

typical government... website doesn't work correctly, they don't answer the phone. cant walk in without an appointment, which of course you will not be able to do because the website does not work correctly and they do not answer the phone... typical government waste of time.

Absolutely the worst experience I ve ever had at a DMV.. I don t know how these people keep their jobs. Slow service, rude workers. Don t go if you can help it
