They were very nice and helpful in finding an obscure water pump bolt for me. Although they didn't have my specific car, they did have the correct 3.8 engine on a shelf, and went through the trouble of pulling it down and getting the bolt for me! I would recommend these guys for finding odd parts that online places just don't have

Felt I was respected and they do their best to try to find your parts despite being seemingly low staffed. Which I noticed on indeed, their starting pay is dirt cheap so I don't expect or want hard work for that money.

To be honest I work for Spaldings in Spokane. I ended up going to this location. They keep the same customer service level as Spokane. They are knowledgeable, and willing to help. If you need parts or a job with a good company you can't go wrong with Spaldings Spokane, and Missoula

Talk to TJ or Cody down there. They are very helpful and fair priced. And it amazing how fast they got my new/used cummins to me from spokane.

After having our back window broken out, and robbed, in Spokane these wonderful guys had what we needed. AND they even installed it for us. They blessed us immensely!! Ray and I highly recommend seeing if they have what you need!!! THANK YOU GUYS!!!

They also inventory and sell parts from the huge Spokane location, and have a daily truck that goes between the 2 locations very convenient. Front counter guys are nice and professional. Yard guy was helpful and I got the parts I needed.

PJ and Cody were so helpful! They pulled the part I needed off the car for me. I installed it inmin vehicle and I am 100% satisfied. Their price was fair, their customer service was excellent and I will definitely be going back for any other parts I need. 100% recommend.

I had some dealings with Collins recently and had a great experience. Tom was courteous and professional and helped me out a lot. I will deal with them again. Not sure what the reviews are about, but it never hurts to give them a call and find out for yourself. Its my opinion that they don't deserve a low rating, and I can assure you in places with lots of salvage yards, they would have a 4 star plus rating.

One of the best places ever been dealing with them since 1987 in the 80s from Oregon Washington Montana didn't need him in Idaho not that I can recall was just there today took my starter quarterback in gave me 14 bucks and then I paid for little motor for the reservoir for the 99 suburban at the house I'll pick it up on Monday I was in a rush no go here you will never be disappointed Spokane Missoula

Wow!! What a bunch of crooks!! I understand making money even a marking up prices a bit... so I called for a door window glass.. I was quoted $150.00. I told to guy (cody) online the highest one was $69 and that also came with window regulator..as i was talking on the phone with this dishonest individual I was looking online at the prices..he then tried to convince me that the price was $200 new and that he was doing me a huge solid.. so I then called local glass company and purchased the part for $30.. wow!!!

I've dealt with Collins quite a few times. You have to understand that it's just two guys running the whole show, so they're busy as hell and don't have a lot of time for all the niceties you can expect at the local coffee shop. They like to get right to the point, but they're pretty good guys and they know their business. As for prices, they seem fair by today's standards. Most people think just because they're pulling used parts from wrecked vehicles that the part should be nearly free, but they're running a business just like anyone else. Still cheaper than the dealer despite what people are saying.

Update: this is now Spalding auto parts, not sure why my review for the old business is still here. These guys are great and have a bigger yard in Spokane. They will ship parts from there if they aren't in stock. They've been awesome the several times I've been out.

I work at a body shop in the valley and we frequently order parts through Spaldings - GREAT service and quality. They have the ability to pull from their yard in Washington if they don't carry the parts in Missoula. Definitely recommend!! PJ, Cody and Peter are great to work with!

Our company has been in the used car business for over 45 years and have used Spaldings for many years with very few problems and if there was one it was taken care of immediately. Really happy to see PJ and Peter and staff very friendly and very knowledgeable plus they are able to use all of Spokane's inventory Great addition to western Montana. Great Job!!!!!!

Don't trust this place, called on a part and when I picked it up they tried doubling the price then wouldn't let me talk to the person I was on the phone with. Still got charged more than i was originally told.

Spalding saved me so much money today.! The (Price Gougers, Lithia Dodge Chrysler) wanted $600 for a new set of headlights for my pickup, that's criminal if you ask me. Spalding found me a brand new set for $239 and had them here the next day. These guys are great! I will always come back here!

These guys are awesome. I have a 2000 mazda protege and every time so far ivw come to get a replacement part. They havent let me down. Pretty much its all really cheap. And all the parts ive gotten are in pretty much "like new" ish working order! I even got a free hat. Always recommended spalding now!

Bought a part from these turkeys after careful describing what was needed over the phone including every detail. Sent someone to pick it up and on arrival found they had misidentified the item. Cannot now get a call back or get them to pick up the phone to make this right. Do not risk your money with this place.

This was the worst customer service we have ever had. We are a professional repair shop in Idaho and we were treated like children over the phone. When we had simple questions regarding shiping cost, the phone clerk gave a rude and smarta** remark about not wanting to give quotes if we were not ordering parts. It's hard to order a part without a quote. We will never call this place for a part again and we suggest you do not either.

I just got off the phone with these guys and had no issue at all. I called even after hearing everyone crying on here about them being rude and what not and talking about how they should be specially treated. The two people I talked with were extremely professional, to the point, and respectful to me. Even though they didn't have my part, they went above themselves and looked for it elsewhere for me and over the internet as well. So yea there are some nonsense comments on here that are obviously not correct.

Wanted 15$ for a 5$ part chucked in a box, worth 5$ new, and completely commonplace. Proceeded to demonstrate their lack of manliness. Instead of accepting the generous offer for a used item, chided me for knowing what I wanted, and harranging me at the register over a 'minimum yard fee'. A yard fee they didn't have to go into the yard for. All he (the owner/main douche) did was point me to a box of existing pulls in the garage, cluttered and unsorted, from every model under the sun, pulled from before the vehicle was crushed.

Went to go get rear seatbelt clips, They said it would take 2 hours to remove (the 3 easy bolts) and they assured me they would be out by the end of the day. I went the next morning, (after watching the guy behind the desk bullshit with one of his friends) I inquired about my buckles. He told me they were not pulled yet and he sent me to the yard to find his co-worker. After 10 minutes of looking for this guy I found him walking around. He told me "I will have time here in the next few hours to go oull those buckles for you sir". I left without the buckles. The customer service and communication suck.I then ordered the parts I need for 1/5th of the cost on eBay!

I have attempted to use Collins a number of times and left dissatisfied every time. Always overpriced.On one attempt, I needed a heater fan control switch. They directed me to the area where I could find the switch and I removed it myself. When I went to pay, they told me it would be $60!!! When I asked why so much, they told me they did not just sell the switch by itself, that I had to take the whole heater control assembly. I left the switch on the counter and have not been back since.

I really dislike giving them my business but sometimes it's a last resort. called them at 1 pm friday. told me they already closed and come in monday. I've had them quote me almost double what the dealer wanted. THE DEALER! obserd

I have known and dealt with Collins Auto for many years now and i can tell you one thing.... If you had a bad experience in dealing with him, keep in mind that he is a one man show at times and what he is doing for the public and for business across the US is very time consuming and not so gratifying at times.. As for myself he has been difficult at times but he is a great guy doing a hell of a job considering what he is dealing with on a sun up to moon out 7 days a week job.. Hope this puts a little perspective on a good man.. Normandy's Auto Helena, Mt.

Called to check prices on a radiator for my pickup which they had the part....BUT the price they gave me was $120. I can get the same radiator from A&T for only $50 WOW what a RIP OFF OVER PRICED PEICE OF $&@% COMPANY
