Had a overheating issues with my LML pulling aload through Montana. Rocky Mountain diesel was able to squeeze me into the busy Friday schedule and got me back on the road. Fast, friendly, and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend them to anyone in the area who needs a good diesel mechanic.

When the fuel pump failed in my ram 1500 eco-diesel while traveling through Missoula, the local ram dealership told me that they could not look at my truck for 2 1/2 months. One call to Rocky Mountain diesel, and they accommodated me that morning, Kept flawless communication during the diagnostic and repair process, and had the truck fully repaired and running the next day. All this at a cost just a fraction of what the dealer would ve charged, if they could even fit me into their schedule. Can t say enough about quality of workmanship, communication, and fair treatment. Highly recommended.

These guys are the best! I was loaded and needed my 1 ton pickup checked out for codes. Very thorough and price was fair. Good to know that if I ever have issues again, I can always stop by when passing through.

Service, Service, Service, Service! Did I say service? Ya want it, you'll get it here. These guys are so good. They will get you fixed up on whatever ping you are hearing in that engine. Sometimes, it's like going to a doctor it's hard to tell what the heck is going on with your insides, but like a good doctor, they will work with you until it's figured out. So sometimes you have to be a good Patient and be patient. They will get you up and running again, for sure. They are super busy and only human, so don't expect miracles, but they are so very good at what that they do, that you'll think they are supermen. Seriously you know what it's like not to have your truck...borrowing your mom or wifes little car is not how you want to roll. These guys will get you fixed up, it's worth the wait.

We were on our way back to Spokane and our truck went into limp mode. They were able to get us in right away and diagnose the problem. They were professional, knowledgeable and trustworthy. They had us back on the road in 2.5 hours. Highly recommended!!

These guys are top notch! Not only can they fix your diesel, they stand by their work and provide great customer service. Kevin and Kerry took great care of my truck when we were traveling through and broke down due to poor work from another mechanic shop. They went above and beyond and addressed issues to make sure that we made it back home. If you live or are in the area I highly recommend Rocky Mountain Diesel!

These guys were able to get us in same day when my truck had clutch issues. We were 3 hours from home and only halfway through our drive when we got to Missoula. So thankful for their work and to get us back on the road in only a few hours! Saved our while 4th of july weekend

Our turbo went out as we were passing through. Kerry was quick to know exactly what was wrong and set right to work to get us back on the road. He even took a look at it outside of normal business hours. Price was more than fair and we were on the road so quick after. We thought we were gonna spend a fortune and be stuck for days but we were so pleasantly surprised. We would highly recommend them. Next time I drive through Montana I ll be sure to stop and say hi!

Passing through on a Saturday heading east to Indiana, Duramax developed a fuel leak on top of the engine. Took it to RMD Monday morning, the crew there got it in the shop immediately to diagnose, after replacing the injector pump they had me on the road Wednesday by noon. Great bunch of people who do quality work. Id recommend them to anyone.

Limped my truck pulling a 33 ft camper into missoula only to find every place I called had a 3 week wait. Then I called Rocky Mountain Diesel. They had my truck on a rack minutes after my arrival and was working on it that day. What a great find and a great staff

Kerry and the team were awesome in assisting me while I was stranded in Missoula. My truck went into limp mode while on the way to Missouri. They were able to squeeze me into they heavy work load. They additionally provided great advice on an outside source that could help me get back on the road. Highly recommended for any diesel service. Very knowledgeable and very professional service.

Rocky Mountain Diesel....these guys are the best. In the midst of a shop bldg rebuild due to fire...Kerry, Ryan, Sam and Nancy were able to replace a turbo, that failed and was installed by another shop 10 mo. earlier , in my Ford Excursion within one day. Amazing! They exceeded every expectation and earned my business for life.

I wish I could give them a 10. We live full time in our 5th wheel and our truck is very important to us. The engine "blew up" and they started working on it the next day. Oh my, we were on our way in a couple of days. What else can I say? They are great

I went with my Ford F550 6.0 Powerstroke to have the turbo cleaned and the guys were the best! Honest and very skillful (I am a mechanic also and I know when I see knowledgeable people). They replaced the turbo with the upgraded model, replaced the old inter-cooler piping and did some other small but essential maintenance while the parts were removed. I totally recommend them. (Guys, I hope the renovation of the shop went as planned).

If you are looking for a diesel shop, these are the guys that deserve your business. On two separate occasions now, they have gone above and beyond to help me out of a tough situation. My truck is my daily driver and it's tough for me to leave it for an extended period at a shop.My first visit, I had just taken it to a general auto repair shop to look into and install new glow plugs. The shop seemed pretty unknowledgeable about diesel engines but replaced the glow plugs anyway. 1k later, no improvement. A friend referred me to Rocky Mountain Diesel so I swung in on a Friday afternoon. One of the owners took a look at my truck right away and pointed out an obvious burnt up glow plug relay. He put a new one in while I waited and gave me a few other tips to keep my rig going.My latest visit, I made an appointment to get my truck in and dropped it off the night before. I hadn't heard anything from them so I gave a call around 3 o'clock. They had apparently had some major issues with another customer and weren't going to be able to get to my truck. Discouraged, I attempted to pick up my truck because of not having a ride to work the rest of the week. Luckily, they were just getting ready to close when I showed up and couldn't get the truck started. They, after apologizing for not getting to it, assessed the issue (my starter) and offered to stay late and get a new one in while I waited.On both of these occasions, Rocky Mountain Diesel dropped everything and really helped me out of a jam. They have definitely earned a customer for life.

Limped my truck into Missoula and they were quick to diagnose and give me great advice, quickly; very much appreciated as this is the busy time of the year for me. Felt like I got lucky as I m not from here but that s what happens when you run your business well. So thankful for RMD and I will recommend them always.

Some family members traveled to Washington State over Memorial Day Weekend. They had there Truck in the week before for some work. Made the trip to Washington and had a break down. Called the Shop and they came over on Monday with a car hauler and an extra pickup to haul the 5th wheel and got my Family back home to Montana! I am so impressed with this kind of service and dedication!

Friends of ours who live in Montana and met up with a bunch of us in Hartline Washington had mechanic problems. They called Rocky Mountain over the Memorial Day weekend and received a phone call on Monday to let our friends know they would come and haul his truck home and get it repaired ASAP. They also sent a 2nd truck to haul their 5th wheel home. This is what I would call 1st class service and they show they stand behind their work. I give these good people 5 stars for getting the job done even over the Holiday weekend. Excellent company!!

Used these cut rate monkeys for over 10 years and have had ongoing issues with EVERYTHING they have worked on. Engine rebuild and 13 bolts were missing!..not even the engine mounts were tight! Oil leaks beyond belief.Nothing is ever repaired without another issue caused by the ever changing staff of mechanics.The filthy shop is indicative of the kind of work they do!
