I m usually hesitant bringing vehicles to new mechanics as I ve had a lot of bad history with place s working on them. However, I heard good things from family members and decided to give this place a shot. I was able to get a quote and the work done all in one day. The rattling so far has stopped after they fixed the inner exhaust. I ll continue to monitor but as of now I highly recommend Muffler Bandit! Great friendly and affordable service.

After extensively calling around and facing challenges finding a muffler shop willing to service my RV, I was relieved when I found the Muffler Bandit. Dustin is pleasant and knowledgeable and ensured that all my concerns were addressed. He was able to schedule my appointment quickly, and the rapid turnaround time for the service was impressive. Overall, my experience with Muffler Bandit was outstanding, and I highly recommend their services to anyone in need of exhaust system services!

Don't go here unless you enjoy bad welds and getting ripped off. Every weld they did on my exhaust is leaking. Took my truck in 3 times because the first time, they didn't do the job right. The second time I took it in, the welds were still leaking, and they tried to fix it, but you can't just glob hot metal over the top of something and hope that it seals. The third time I took it back, they decided to say that nothing is wrong, they were rude about the fact that my exhaust is still leaking from their bad welds, but unfortunately for them, I am a mechanic and can seal up the exhaust system and check where smoke pours out of. My wife left a review too because she and my young daughter got bombed by exhaust because of Muffler Bandits' incompetent work.

I can't recommend these guys enough. I brought in an old truck and they rebuilt my tailpipe for a very reasonable price. A few days prior they did a quick inspection, quoted me a price, and stuck to it. They were very efficient and friendly. These guys are awesome! I took my car up a cow trail and accidentally bent a metal plate which started rattling on my exhaust. They found the problem and fixed it in no time! I d recommend them every time!

I can not say enough good things about The Muffler Bandit! I was on a cross country motorcycle ride for suicide awareness when my exhaust pipe broke. Dustin dropped everything and got me back on the road in under an hour! And to put the icing on the cake, he donated his work for the cause!!

Very happy with the result. Apparently my Toyota echo was leaking exhaust and I didn t even know it until my my girlfriend at the time said she could smell it. Made an appointment to have it looked at and these guys got me in within a couple of days and not weeks. Did a good job and reasonable price. Thanks.

10/10 will bring every car here!!!! Brought my 98 honda accord in with no exhaust attached and they got it done in less than an hour, cars quieter than I've ever had it, THE BEST if you need exhaust work and have any doubts This is the right place!!

Rick was FANTASTIC!Super friendly and honest about my exhaust leak on my muffler. I knew it had rusted open at the seam but another shop to replace my muffler and they said my whole exhausted system was shot and it was going to be $648 to replace.Rick was honest and said everything was great besides my muffler and replaced it for $230.Super happy and pleased. It only took him 35 minutes to complete and my truck sounds amazing.Fast, efficient service from great people.Service: Exhaust

Dustin got my exhaust pipe looked at and repaired in hardly any time at all, and gave me different options for repair. He also told me my engine sounded like it has a cylinder out (which I knew and is true) and I appreciate that. Very friendly and fast

This shop did a fully custom exhaust for my pickup. The welds were great; everything is air-tight and secure. I gave them detailed (perfectionist level) directions, and they delivered - for a fair price. Overall I'm a happy customer and would recommend this shop to a friend.

The owner was very unprofessional in the phone call I made to this business regarding some exhaust work I was needing done and the prices he quoted were insanely high for the little amount of actual work that was needed. Would not recommend

My muffler came off the first week i moved into montana. i finally decided it was time to get it fixed and im insanely happy i chose these guys. it took no more than 30 minutes for it to be fixed and he barely charged me, especially compared to what most shops would do. the main manager (i believe thats what his position was) sat and talked with me just about the entire time and made me feel really welcome. he told me if i ever need help with anything else on my car to come by and he ll see what he can do, or point me in the right direction to someone who can.truly this guy made me feel right at home and im 580 miles from my hometown. i can t thank him enough.Service: Exhaust

While getting our RV ready for our "snowbird" trip south we lost a 6 inch piece of the exhaust system. We were REALLY loud. Tried several shops in town and were told they had to find parts, or they couldn't even look at it for a month., or they didn't work on RV's. 45 days of hunting for a shop we stopped at the Muffler Bandit and wished we had stopped sooner. Not only did they work on RV's, they had parts . 2 days later we were in the shop and they had it fixed that day and at a reasonable price. They are friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone who needs exhaust system work. They are definitely our go to shop from now on.Service: Exhaust

While on a recent road trip in my camper, a metal pipe detached and was dragging on the road one night near Missoula. I stayed the night there after discovering the problem and although I didn't think it was part of the exhaust system, they were the closest shop so I stopped by at opening time the next morning to see what they would recommend. Without an appointment, they got it right up, discovered it was from the generator and fixed it. I was envisioning at least a days delay and big bucks trying to get this resolved and was instead back on the road in an hour. They made my day with their prompt, friendly, knowledgeable service and the price was beyond reasonable. Highly recommend.

Top notch service! Fit us in on New year's eve morning as we were passing thru on family vacation. Our muffler pipe had broken and Rory welded it back together for a price that was much better than I could have asked for. A true patriot and professional with a care for the customer that goes above and beyond! Thank you for the service Rory!

This place is great. Faster and cheaper than competitors for work that is of higher quality. Had a muffler put in a custom location, and he not only installed it perfectly in 30 minutes but also fixed some other problem areas with my exhaust that he found along the way for free. Highly recommend for any exhaust work in the Missoula area.
