I brought my IS300 to these guys in november, now it s january and I just got my car back. brought it in for a misfire diagnosis and they said they fixed it, and that it wasn t misfiring anymore. The car is still misfiring extremely bad and now won t even start. They were good about the price and not charging me a whole bunch of money but I was desperate to have my car fixed by professionals and now i m screwed.

Solid shop. Went in for a brake issue and they were able to inform me of connected issues. Took some time diagnosing the connected issue which cost me more without knowing or I would give 5/5. Got to tell people when you are going above the quote.

I brought my FJ in convinced it needed a very expensive repair because the dealer told me I needed it. Master Technicians diagnosed the real problem and it ended up costing half as much. I will definitely be taking my FJ here for all my repairs from now on.

I don t leave reviews but I would 100% recommend this place to anyone. Master Tech went above and beyond to help me out with my 2012 Toyota Camry and the owner even stayed late helping the car with issues I wasn t even aware of. Great service and super personable. Thank you so much!

These guys are honest and do great work. I have an older Lexus, Sequoia, Scion, and 1990 Toyota truck that the Master Tech crew have worked on through the years. Highly recommended!

This is my second 5 -star review Of Master Technician- Toyota Only-Mt in the last 8 months. If I could give them a 10-star review I would.I live in Las Vegas Nv. I have been having trouble with my 2006 Tundra and it has been in and out of five different automotive shops including a Toyota dealer.I had spent a lot of money trying to get my truck repaired. One of these shops created a bigger problem (I found out later ) and I now need another engine. Two shops quoted on engine replacements. I had lost all faith in these shop mechanical abilities and did not trust them to work on my truck any more.Now what should I do? Well, I remembered my great experience I had with Master Technician- Toyota only in Montana while I was vacationing and was very impressed with Will Hyde (owner) and his team with their repair.So, I contacted Will Hyde and ask him if he could help me. He said sure and suggested that we get a used low milage engine from a good source he has in Oregon and they would install it. To accomplish this, I would have to send my truck (truck does not run Las Vegas killed it) to his shop Mt by an auto transport carrier up to Mt and back to Las Vegas.I looked into the transport carrier cost both ways ($$$). Since I lost faith in Las Vegas shops and have faith in Will Hyde and his team I decided I would do this. My friends thought I was crazy.Will purchased a low mile engine and refreshed it meaning he, replaced all gaskets and seals, adjusted the valves, replaced the water pump and timing belt new starter motor, spark plugs. new radiator EtcLas Vegas shops were not going to this they were just going to install a used engine and hope for the best.Master Technician team removed my old engine and installed this refreshed engine within two days!! Since I was in Las Vegas, Will Hyde took it upond himself and drove my truck back and forth from work to home 5 days to make sure everything was working right before he gave it back to me. Now that s what I call outstanding, service.Minor adjustments were made and the refreshed engine was running very well and we both had confidence in it so I had him do a few more repair items to get this truck in tip top shape. He also did small repairs for no charge.My/our goal for this project was to have a good reliable, safe, truck and to regain my confidence in my truck again which I did.Long Story Short: If you are looking for automotive shop that has quality workmanship with honest, caring, professional individuals then I would highly recommend Master Technician Will Hyde and his team.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

These are some of the nicest and most knowledgeable folks I ve ever dealt with. They re super helpful with info even when they re booked solid. They are extremely popular and usually booked out a bit, but it s well worth it to stay on top of your maintenance and schedule in advance with them. Prices are incredibly competitive.

Master Tech is the best! They have been taking loving and skilled care of my 97 Taco since I moved to Missoula in 2019. They never try to oversell replacements or repair/maintenance that you don't need, and they reasonably price their services. It is for good reason that Master Tech is often booked out 2 months plus - it's worth the wait if you desire affordable and top-notch quality work on your Toyota.Once you establish a relationship, Master Tech will do their best to squeeze you in for "emergency" repair - they did for me most recently when my blinkers went out on my truck (despite being booked out months they got my blinkers working again within a week or so of me calling them).Do yourself a favor and fire Lithia Toyota of Missoula, take your Yoda to Master Tech instead and let Will, Hyde, and team at Master Tech take care of your Japanese ride.Kudos and immense gratitude to Hyde for savings me $160 bucks when he gifted me a key ignition cylinder that he had collecting dust in a tin full of keys at the shop when I needed to replace my ignition cylinder that had to be drilled out last fall while out of cell service on Antelope hunt!!!Services: Steering & suspension replacement, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning, Vehicle Inspection, Auto maintenance, Oil change

Been going to Master Tech for all my work on my Camry and their service is great every time and I also commend the front desk guy Will who has excellent customer service and makes everything easier. If you need any work done on your Toyota this is the place to go!Also saved my butt by letting me know about a warranty deal for my creaking sunroof which saved me a ton of money on getting fixed.

I would HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend Master Tech for your Toyota. I shopped around when my 4WD on my Sequoia was not working back in 2016. They ended up being the best deal in Missoula by far and did an incredible job.I have since used them for every need that has come up, from routine tune ups before road trips, to fixing my rear latch to replacing struts & ball joints. The owner, Will, is very kind and friendly and most importantly honest. I asked him to look over a list that Lithia Toyota recently had given me of work that they thought I needed done. He checked through it and told me what needed to be done ASAP and what didn t need to be done for 20k more miles and helped me put them in order of importance. His pricing is very competitive and fair. Master Tech is the only shop I ll trust with my Sequoia.Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance

I was having issues starting my Corolla, so I looked these guys up and gave them a call. I dropped my car off Thursday afternoon and they had it back to me before Friday evening, despite being busy! There ended up being nothing wrong with my car, so they topped off the brake fluid and sent me on my way... free of charge. Excellent, honest staff that I would recommend to anyone. (with a Toyota) Will be coming back again!

Very professional, helpful, and incredible pricing for the high quality of service. I just had my '14 Tacoma in for a 65k mile check up and an oil change, all for less than $40.00. I'm sure this would have cost at least $120 at a dealership. Thanks Master Tech, you have a new customer for life!

I have taken my 20 year old 4-Runner to them a few times. They always take the time to listen, get me in as soon as they can, and get the work done right the first time.Their per/hour cost is one of the lowest in town. They're upfront about cost. Most importantly they're understanding that I can only take care of a few items on the list of 'older vehicle' issues my rig has. They help me prioritize and keep in my budget.If you have a Toyota new or old and you're outside your warranty these are the guys to go to. From nearly at cost oil changes to transmission work this is the only shop you need for your Toy!

Master Tech is the bomb! I can t imagine trusting anyone else with my Toyota. They ve been working on my Tacoma since 2012. Honest, down-to-earth folks, that always have your best interest in mind. Seriously I can t imagine taking my truck anywhere else. These guys probably have more business than they need but if you re looking for a good Toyota mechanic look no further!!

Toyotas Only had done my vehicle service for years and I was very happy with their service. However, I took my Highlander in for an oil change and asked them to look at popping a door molding panel that had fallen off the rear passenger door back on to the door. The piece was in the back of my car. When I came back, the front passenger door molding had been removed and was in the back of my car and the rear molding was nowhere to be found. When I asked where the molding was, they said they had never seen it and that I never had it, which was simply untrue. What he had written down in his notes was literally "pop rear passenger door panel back on." I called back to ask if the piece ever turned up and they said it was never there, talking over me the whole time, arguing with me and saying that it was never there. Now I have to purchase a $300 molding piece to replace the one that disappeared, and they offered absolutely no help in finding the replacement piece or trying to help with this situation. Their "customer service" amounts to calling me a liar. I will never use their service again.Service: Oil change

Outstanding! I usually hesitate to take a vehicle in for repairs because every time I have I feel like I'm getting ripped off. Not with Master Tech guys. Not only do these guys know there stuff, but they are supper helpful, friendly, professional and likely the most honest mechanics I have ever encountered. They just get things fixed, and don't try to sell you on something you don't really need. Even though it's a three hour drive for us to get there, this is the only place I'll take my Toyota. Thanks for your service.

Unfortunately they were unable to get my car in due to the emergency nature of my needs. But they gave me a possible diagnosis and cost estimate for when I take it into another shop. This is literally the nicest thing ever. Good people.

TLDR: After 5+ years of going here, they do honest and trustworthy work for both my vehicles I have taken.They called and were curious about my personal health after not visiting in some time (after a nasty tbone accident of my primary vehicle) and when I brought my new vehicle in they did precheck and still help on certain maintenance.

I have been to Mastertech for ALL of my auto-related needs for the last 5 years, and they are fantastic. Jake and Will are very honest and have never tried to take advantage of my lack of car-related knowledge. They have always made an effort to take care of my vehicle even if they are backed up and busy - they have gone above and beyond what is required. I called Master Tech after my Land Cruiser blew two coolant hoses. That vehicle is critical for me as a wildland firefighter, as I'm a single resource who brings my own rig to fires.I spoke to Will, who immediately knew the problem I was describing and told me how much it would cost to replace the hose -- and because it's a known recurring problem with Land Cruisers, they have a policy of replacing it with an aerospace-grade silicone hose.I was sent on assignment the day I had the vehicle towed, and they absolutely bent over backwards to help me: I paid over the phone, and they worked with me to have someone go by and pick it up.Everyone that I dealt with was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and a good listener.This was my first time dealing with this shop, and they have made a customer for life.

The repair specialists at Master Technician display the rare combination of competence and honesty that can be hard to find in the repair business. I had estimates from other repair shops that a repair job on my Toyota might easily cost $100 to $200. I took my car to Master Tech and thay found the problem and fixed it for $10!!! When was the last time you walked out of a repair shop with a repair bill for $10? Obviously they cannot solve all your car woes for $10, but the fact that they were able to diagnose my Toyota problem and fix it so expeditiously without padding the bill speaks highly of their expertise and integrity.

Jake, Will, and the techs at Master Tech are the best in Missoula. They are always thorough, and fair. They will tell you everything that needs to be done to your vehicle, and what should be done now. I have had 2 different rigs into them several times over the last 6 years, and I have no complaints. If you have a Toyota, there is no other place to take it.

Master Tech has taken great care of my car since 2004. I have found them to be honest, fairly priced, and extremely competent. I highly recommend them to other Toyota owners.
