Ordered and had them install a front and rear bumper from CBI Offroad, they applied LineX Pro finish to the bumpers which turned out great. Price was very reasonable especially since they discounted 10% off labor for military service. Store also has reasonable selection of offroad accessories and recovery gear. Purchased a ARB air compressor for reinflating tires a month ago which has been very handy. Appreciate the quality of work and will return for more future projects.

I'm from out of town and needed some work done on my jeep. Went on Friday and the owner Jeremy told me he could help me out on Monday, just come back then. He proceeded to give me a comprehensive awesome tour of his shop and current builds. He spent better than an hour with a total stranger just doin what car guys do. Went back Monday and he hooked me up with a quick repair, did it himself. If you need help from minor repairs to extensive builds I'm thinkin this is your place. Knowledgeable and friendly guys workin. You will be glad you stopped in.

They have lots of cool truck and Jeep stuff but not very knowledgeable about roof tents or roof racks. They were more interested in selling me everything else but that. Took my business too Custom Truck in Coeur d'Alene. Very knowledgeable about roof tents and racks! Talk to Austin super knowledgeable and getting it all installed February 19th.

Took my 2009 Ford Ranger in for Line-X truck bed spray and could not be happier with J&K's service and application/installation.I did stop at one other place before talking with J&K. The other place, (not mentioning names here), took one side-long glance at my little truck and you could just tell they had decided it wasn't worth their time. I don't know if it's because it wasn't a jacked-up, $100k off-the-lot, now sporting "truck-nuts", truck they typically showcase around their shop or what... They made it very apparent there were just no options for my small pickup.I'm so glad to have found J&K Customs. Talked with them for a while about what versions of liner were available and decided on the premium. Somewhat more expensive for the premium but well worth it for the outcome. They even disposed of the plastic bed insert this truck came from and fixed the corroded tie-down tabs before spraying the liner. Really above and beyond for how much work is involved for prep. Left the truck with them mid-morning and had it back that afternoon. The photos speak well for themselves. Thanks!

I hate whiny google reviews. I am going to leave my star rating and lay out the facts below with some photos. I did receive a full refund on labor and an apology from JK.I approached JK to put line-x bedliner and install a light bar on a brand new F150. They helped me to select a 700 dollar Vision X light bar. I discussed the installation location and wiring with both Jake and Jeremy. I wanted it centered in my central bumper intercooler opening and was told that this would be no problem. I also wanted it wired to high beams with a defeat switch. I was told that this would be no problem. Jeremy specifically asked if I wanted a switch in the dash, and I said no. He said they could hide a switch under the dash for defeat. On the day of the install, I was called in the mid afternoon to confirm desired wiring setup to high beams with a defeat switch, which I confirmed. Upon picking up the truck, I discovered several issues, which multiplied upon getting the truck home and inspecting it. I paid 240 dollars for labor as well as the cost of the bedliner and the light bar.Mounting:The light was mounted to thin, bent bumper sheet metal trim tabs. Since this was not a secure connection, the top of the light was stabilized by a visible, nonadjustable strip of galvanized sheet metal which was glued into the back of the light bar fins with what appeared to be black rubber RTV gasket material. Jake repeatedly stated that there was no metal anywhere to mount to in the bumper and that there was simply no other mounting solution. After about ten minutes of online forum research and inspection of the bumper, I drilled to the large metal bumper supports on either side and mounted the light with simple L brackets that I purchased from Murdoch s. (Photo below of JK bracket on left vs mine on right).Wiring:JK was unable to get the light bar to function with high beams. They stated that they spoke to Ford who said that the high beam circuit could support no additional current draw. They wired the light straight to the battery with a switch controlled single relay. Upon finding that they were unable to draw current directly off of the high beams, they simply cut off the wire and left it bare and touching the inside of the fender (photo below). Using a standard automotive relay, I was able to switch their whole system off of the high beam. Despite JK insisting that it was impossible to control the light bar off the high beams, I have had it functioning perfectly like this for two weeks now. Relays exist to use a low current, low voltage wire to control a high voltage, high current component.I found major finish and fitment issues with the wiring, aside from JK s failure to properly switch off the high beams. These include: bare wires draped across the top of the battery, wire (with no protective sheath) hanging down from the firewall resting on the top of the engine, harness resting on a hot AC compressor line, a large balled up wad of bare wires visible next to the relay, main wire and connector visible and bouncing around freely inside the bumper, which also inhibited normal function of electric intercooler shutters.Dash:No permission was ever given to drill the dash on my brand new truck, however due to their inability to switch off the high beams, JK drilled a hole in my dash to place a switch. When I pointed this out, I was told that the original instructions were given over two weeks prior and that they could not be expected to remember this. Not only was a hole drilled without permission, but the drillings were not vacuumed up and were left all over the cab (photo below).Bedliner:-My tailgate, which previously functioned normally, would no longer latch on the left side after the bedliner.I have nothing against JK customs or its employees, and I hate to present negative information about a small, family-owned business, but I think that others considering spending their hard earned money on professional labor rates should know this information.

Ready to leave town with our motor home and tow vehicle; noticed we had something wonky going on the the tow car braking system. Called J&K and they quickly discovered it was due to operator error. Wouldn t charge me a thing. Great guys. Know their stuff. Highly recommend.

I just had a gear swap, axle upgrade and some suspension work done at J&K Customs. Jeremy and crew did a great job. Nice facility that looks capable of handling simple repairs to complex projects. If you drive a Jeep, truck or any off-road vehicle this should be your first stop in Missoula.

Oh my gosh! The customer service and J & K customs is incredible. I left a message with Jeremy asking he could help modify a tonneau cover that my dad and I had installed on Christmas. It worked, it just was a pain in the butt to open and close and I had tried to fix it myself. Jeremy hopped in the bed of my truck and within less than 5 minutes (even having never seen the type of tonneau I had purchased) fixed the problem! Super genuine humans and I highly recommend!

We selected the team at JK as a consultant and installer for our stock well performing Jeep 2004 LJ.I told Jake the modifications needed to result in a better ride both on and off road. The Metal Cloak suspension along with associated gearing wheels and tires exceeded our expectations both on and off road.We are very pleased with the results.

After dealing with Red's towing installation of a topper, I was quite concerned about getting anything else done to my new truck. When in and got a quote on installing wheel flairs on my truck. Had them ordered and installed with only a small hick up of the bolts been chrome not black but they ordered and changed over at no cost to me.J & K customs were very professional, polite and got the job done fast and efficiently, they are my new accessories and I have ordered replacement rims and tires now through them.

Despite being treated nicely the work they did was sub-par. Maybe they are just bad with Toyotas, I don't know. I had an ARB bumper and bilstein 5100s installed in my 2011 Toyota Tundra. I have 3 main problems with their installation. 1: My 'cam tabs' have broke afterwards. After talking to a Toyota dealer, I was told they see this issue after new shocks are put on and the bolt is not torqued correctly. $600 to get new tabs welded on... 2: About 6mo after the work was done, my steering rack went out in my truck. I was told this is a very common issue with my model (after installing leveling shocks) and after researching it, I saw it all over the internet. I don't really blame them for this, but it would have been nice to know ahead of time. A shop with more knowledge might have known. That repair cost me $2500... 3: I don't really care about aesthetics but there is a big gap between the hood and the truck. It does not look flush at ALL. After researching I saw this problem mentioned on the ARB website when ordering. It says my truck requires extra modification for it to look nice. Why didn't they mention that beforehand? or during the repair? And if I would have known I would have got a different bumper but they said ARB is the only one they do, and I didn't find out about the gap until I picked it up.... It just seems like this shop is more interested in getting the job done and getting paid, rather than actually doing a good job.

Maaan I really didn t want to have to write this review. I hate writing negative reviews but I seriously believe that anyone who s thinking about working with J&K should read this.I ll preface this by saying that I have already spent thousands and thousands of dollars here. And to be fair, they do great work. It is not cheap by any means but their mechanical team certainly knows their stuff and my truck has performed excellently since J&K worked on it.That being said, it is absolutely miserable to try to talk to anyone on the sales floor. Every time I ve gone in to talk about potential work it seems like I m majorly inconveniencing them. They don t want to talk about your options, they don t want to explain anything, and it s so unbelievably painful to get any info out of them it's like they don't want my business or money. Maybe it's because I'm not a super knowledgeable car/truck guy to begin with (but if you were, you wouldn't be paying someone else for work, would you?), maybe it's something else, but I've always been respectful, friendly, and conscious of their time whenever I go in.I don't know whether these people are family or friends or something but I promise, finding someone with even basic communication and customer service skills would literally skyrocket sales. I've talked to multiple people who have had this experience, too. Wouldn t you want folks out there who are actually excited to talk about off-roading and trucks? Hell, even the mechanics from the back that I ve talked to have been friendly and informative.I literally want to keep throwing money at J&K for more work on my rig but I ll be taking my business somewhere else from here on out.

Been to J&K twice. Once for a cut to my roof rack and another for new tires. Both times Jake and the rest of the staff were super helpful and friendly. Stoked with the outcome of both visits.

Recently, I was traveling to visit an ill parent in Missoula. I was towing my little Teardrop camper behind my 2015 2Dr JK so that I could bring my dog along with me and not have to deal with sneaking him into motels and hotels. Somewhere between Sheridan WY and Billings, my Jeep started making a noise I have never heard any vehicle make-it sounded like a screeching owl. The noise was loud at first but did get slightly quieter. I managed to make it to Missoula late on a Sunday.I Googled and found J & K Customs on Broadway and called them first thing the following morning. They started digging into it and found that my previous builder likely did not notice a warped flange on my new drivers side rear axle shaft that was making one of the noises. They also noticed that the same builder did not have the lashing adjusted on my rear differential and that the carrier had ZERO pre-load on it. Once those items were sorted, the only thing remaining was the screeching owl sound.Josh and Jeremy called me and gave me the bad news. It was thought that my transfer case had some sort of larger issue internally. With COVID19, supply chain issues meant that an Atlas T-Case was 4 months out which of course was not an option. They happened to have an NP231 take off on their shelf. We dumped the fluid and it seemed like it was new. I agreed that they could install it so I could have a chance to get home by the coming weekend. About 24 hours later, I called Jeremy for a status update. He said, I have good news and bad news The good news is that your Jeep is fixed and the noise is gone. The bad news is we could not sell you that transfer case because the issue was in the front drive shaft. This was much less expansive and a big relief as I did not want to swap a used transfer case into my Jeep-I would have rather spent the $$$ on a shiny new Atlas.Jeremy and Josh communicated well throughout the whole process and worked my Jeep s repairs in and around their other scheduled projects. They were honest when it counted-they could have charged me for the transfer case AND later found the "real issue" with the front drive shaft and taken advantage of a guy from out of state broken down and in a bad spot. These guys know their stuff-they conveyed their suspicions and seemed confident about their diagnosis. J&K Customs operates with integrity and a level of honesty that really is worth noting. If I lived closer, I would bring my next build to them. Count on J&K Customs to do it right! I am lucky to have found them! For some history: I am two years out from the worst builder experience ever. On a recommendation from members of my Jeep club in Colorado, I had a complete steering and suspension rebuild of my Jeep at All Seasons 4x4 in Broomfield, CO. I have had countless issues and have had to re-do a lot of the work.

This shop has installed a handful of aftermarket goodies on my pickup over the past year. Zero problems with any of them, and the work was always done in a timely manner. I'd recommend this shop to anyone looking to install some upgrades under the hood.

I just had the bed of my Dodge Ram Linexed here, the truck turned out great and they were super nice. Looks to be a good 4x4 shop as well for the more hardcore guys. They have some builders gussets if you are welding up a cage or bumper and need them. I wish I knew that last year when I built a tube chassis buggy, usually I order gussets online and get killed in shipping. well live and learn.I cant recommend them enough!

Jake was very knowledgable and informative , seemed genuine and honest as a sales representative .As a sales rep myself i felt comfortable in our discussions . I still and will always hold caution and scrutiny with such adversaries in the sales world . His demeanor was very professional and comforting . His testament to honesty for and towards his customers wants and desires for their projects seemed most valid and honorable .

This is the worst shop I have even been to. I don t know if I don t spend enough to get service or what. Every time I have went in there I get pushed on the back burner. This time because no one else knows jeeps, I have it towed and almost two weeks later they haven t even looked at it. Now before getting towed I called the owner and asked him and he said he could get to it by Tuesday no problem. I call Wednesday and still nothing. I called Friday nope haven t even touched it. I went in there Monday and talked to the owner, oh man we will get to it Tuesday no problem I m really sorry blah blah blah. Yesterday was Tuesday and guess what. Nothing. I call today and the Jake guy is rude and short with me and says we haven t got to it man okay. This is the worst customer service I have ever had. Ever.
