I just bought a rc car privately and got it home to discover it wouldn't steer. I brought it into Blue Ribbon hobby department on Thursday and handed it off to Brian Culp. He instantly recognized the issue and would have me fixed up before the end the day on Friday. That is exactly what happened. What a knowledgeable individual and professional. Thank you and see you again for any of my radio control needs.

Had a small front end collision and the team at Blue Ribbon took care of me through the entire process. Fantastic customer service and professionalism from both Claire the Insurance Coordinator, and Ben who wrote the estimate. Very knowledgeable and made the whole process easy. The team that did the body work and paint did a great job aswell, truck looks better than before the collision. Couldn't be happier!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

My mother had purchased a trackhawk tracking device and kill switch and the gentleman in the audio section said they are familiar with devices like this. Well the install was quick and painless so we thought. As my mother and I were sitting down and learning on the mobile app, well we discovered it wasn t working. My mother was incredibly upset and went in to confront mr. Brian and with my mother being upset he got very defensive and incredibly rude and even made her cry in the store. After the confrontation they refused to call the tech support of the device that was purchased. Well after further investigation they determined that they had connected the wrong wire for it being an ignition kill switch and had it connected on the secondary ignition wire not primary. We personally will never engaging in business with these guys do to the unfortunate event. Have a wonderful day.

Window Tinting & Body Work Two times I have dealt with Blue Ribbon - once on my own and once due to a collision I was in. I had my windows tinted the first time. As you can see in the first photo there is a vast difference in the windows. Now I don t feel like everyone is staring at me in my car! The price was great for the time and quality. It also has a lifetime warranty. I dropped it off in the morning (scheduled appointment) and picked it up at the end of day.Unfortunately for me, two weeks later, I was in a collision (see second collage) and the front end of my body shifted backwards - as well as other damage. Blue Ribbon was timely and professional about handling the damage. Luckily I was not on the hook for it, but it was still a hefty bill. They had my car for 49 days, which had been addressed before hand, but they kept me updated every week and made sure to answer any questions or concerns. My car looked great upon pick up and I am planning to go back for a new sound system soon!Services: Restoration, Painting, Body & Trim

Came in for an estimate after my vehicle was damaged in a parking lot. Was enough damage that the car will be totaled, but I needed an estimate either way. Ian was very helpful and professional with the estimate even though the odds of me having the repairs done there (or at all) are very small. Thanks Ian.

Friendly, helpfull, but a bit ditzy.After several emails detailing what parts were to be ordered, they ended up ordering the wrong part. Tad bit frustrating seeing how I live 2 hours out of zootown and wasn't told about the wrong parts until after I had dropped off my truck.With the information on the invoice and provided by my VIN number this discrepancy could have been caught sooner and saved us our time.To their credit, they did grant be a full refund.

If the mechanic that installed my sway bar was experienced they would have noticed the angle of the two axel mounts are different and that's a bad thing. Hopefully Lithia can take the now permanent lean out of my suspension.

Blue ribbon came highly recommended to us when we got into an accident with our truck. It was a lot of damage and the work their guys did was really good. Our truck looks great, however they did have it for 2.5 months and while they said they would call us with updates they never did we had to constantly call to find out what was going on with our truck, which is very frustrating when they have your very expensive truck. They also did not repair damage that was from the original accident along with multiple new scratches on it that weren t there before. My husband noticed it less than an hour after we picked it up while getting diesel and immediately called to tell them.They told us to bring it back in when we could, so a week later I brought it in for them to look at, what I find most irritating about bringing it back was when I was showing the manager the original accident damage he talked down to us and was trying to accuse us of causing the damage after we picked it up, even showing me their itemized charges where it said they painted the bed of our truck, they didn t obviously because there was still yellow paint on the bed on the truck with the damage (the accident was caused by a yellow concrete pole). We took the truck back and they fixed the new scratches on the hood and the original damage but did not finish fixing the scratches on the bed, and once again tried to say they wouldn t scratch something and if they did would just fix it. We again didn t receive any update until we called them. Also a side note they charged for the removal and replacement of our canopy, something that we took off before dropping it off to them so be sure to get and check your itemized charges. We also picked it up with the driver mirror very loose and the light on the driver mirror not working, not a big deal but we shouldn t have to fix things afterwards. The truck does look great don t get me wrong their guys are good at their jobs but I don t appreciate new damage which I m sure was an accident, original damage not repaired and then being accused by the manager of causing the damage after. At this point we now have to fix the damage they caused ourselves because we weren t about to leave our truck with them again to not get done correctly nor get any kind of update on it. I hope the next person that has an issue gets treated better than we did.

This company partners with intoxalock and installs their product. Once they're finished they leave you in the parking lot trying to figure out how it works and how to start your vehicle and refuse to help. You'll likely need your vehicle towed home from their shop.

I had a horrible experience with one of blue ribbons managers. The manager talked down to me, didn t know the tint laws in Montana, and wanted to cut ties with me after they made a mistake on my vehicle. The experience left me so upset I didn t want to come back to their shop again. After leaving a lengthy review of my upsetting experience the owner of blue ribbon reached out to me. I couldn t believe the difference from how I was treated in their building compared to the excellent costumer service from the owner. Having that conversation and having previously good service with them, I have deleted my previous review. I have had great service when getting my dash cam and remote start installed in my 2019 rav4 and in my 2022 rav4. Everyone in that building has GREAT customer service except for the manager. It s a shame that the one guy who doesn t know the law and has zero customer service is the manager. Hopefully my next experience with them will be better and hopefully I just caught the manager on a bad day. I m giving them four stars because like I said, everybody else in the shop is absolutely amazing every time I go in.

The auto body for upgrades is amazing and parts are great for the most part. Be warned with audio. They lied to us and stole things out of our vehicle. They also claimed they didn't touch our mirror because it was too attached to vital parts of our truck and they clearly did. Do not recommend audio. They were not honest and didn't even explain we installed an older part and should have upgraded to the newer one.

Great staff. I have a 2016 Dodge Challenger and will only allow their staff to perform modifications. They take the time to sit with you and discuss all options both the pros and cons. Prices are extremely competitive and parts are durable.

We lost a bug guard for our 2000 Toyota Tundra. Yes 2000. Her name is Roxy and she is very appreciated. : ) I had never been to Blue Ribbon auto in Missoula, but one of neighbors recommended them.They were able to get Roxy the part (and an appointment) in only a couple days. The service was super friendly and professional. The install was very efficient and looks great!We have a few other things we are going to do with Roxy and, rest assured, we will be going to back to Blue Ribbon. 1st Class!PS: Their shop is awesome!Service: Body & Trim

Careless workmanship. Had a truck at Blue Ribbon to spray in a bed liner. In the process they scratched the paint on the outside of the tailgate and and Nissan logo (photo attached). Brand new truck. You'd think an auto body shop would take better care of removed parts. You'd also think someone would check the work before it goes out the door. They also didn't reattach one of the tailgate cables.

Had a dash cam installed and it was absolutely disappointing. Very bad fuse connection and my panels were coming off from the trim. Avoid audio/ and electronic installs here.

Amazing workmanship and staff!My wife and I were in town from Alabama, and we had a roof failure (look at pictures) and Jim advised us and less than 1 hour later we were driving away! In short, if I need any body or accessory work I may just drive to Missoula from Alabama to have Blue Ribbon do it!

They installed a head unit for me that doesn't really work that great. Then when asked to help when it won't turn off they are so unhelpful that it makes you wonder who raised them. Do not recommend.

Worked with Brian and Travis getting some custom lights installed and wired. Also had a new stereo installed. They got a lot done in a day and addressed any issues I had and extended professional customer service and made me feel like a valued customer. Had decent front end damage happen to Jeep and brought it in to Bue Ribbon. They got her in asap, got me my estimate quickly and tried to get me on the schedule. I would have used them but unfortunately I needed to have her back faster than their time frame would allow. I do recommend them to anyone. They do amazing work. I am just on a time constraint. Keep up the stellar work!

Writing another poor review. I see below some others had the same poor interaction with the manager. He s rude, arrogant and a jerk to people and mouthy. I ve had our sedan two pickups and a 4runner there several times. No more. I ve had great experience with other employees and the work that BR does is 2nd to none. That being said, I won t be talked down to. I can t prove but I believe he purposely tried to start an altercation. At another shop they knew his name and laughed. Out of all the times I ve been there I ve felt with him 3 times. First time was a bad experience, 2nd was better, 3rd was bad and 4th was decent. He actually said something in front of other customers. No one has said a word. No one has reached out and I finally decided to change businesses. But I m just one jerk that doesn t matter I reckon. I m hard to impress but easy to please. It s saying something that I left TWO reviews.Service: Electrical
