Battery ReplacementI took my 5th wheel to Sport Land RV to have them replace my original 12 volt Interstate batteries with what they recommend, Optima yellow tops. I also had them install a Fantastic fan and inspect the bedroom slide, as it had been making noises.The guy I originally spoke with (Brian) was very nice. He recommended the Optima batteries and told me I could leave 5th wheel for a couple of days after the repair was completed. Optima batteries have been awesome, as well as the Fantastic fan install. However the bedroom slide continued to grind.The man who checked me out was very busy, distracted and not as helpful as Brian was at check in. I wrote him a check, the invoice seemed incomplete, not including the itemized items they worked on, but the total was about what I expected so I didn't question it.-------------They were accommodating, especially since I travel full time. Got the work done quickly and on time. Went the extra mile letting me leave the fifth wheel a few days extra at no charge.------Update several years later.Did several items of maintenance and replaced my fireplace. Stayed after they closed to get the job done.Great place!

Bought a 16' trailer here in 2001. Needed new fenders for it (weren't rusted out but someone had borrowed it and they attached the tie downs to the fenders...ugh) and took a long shot to see if they could still get the parts I needed. Low and behold, they were able to help out and get me new fenders.

Two of the jacks on my truck camper stopped working while I was on vacation here in Montana. I looked at replacements, and called this location to ask about a possible repair for the jacks. They gave me good info and then said they had some used jacks off another rig. I came down and sure enough they had two used but perfectly working jacks that were an exact match for what I needed. They sold them to me for $100 for the pair, which is far cheaper than the typical $350 per pair new.

Had a great experience with Brian and the rest of the staff. Highly recommend coming to see these folks for all your trailer needs. We have now purchased two trailer from them and felt good driving away every time. Thanks guys!

We just bought a camp trailer from them and it was as smooth as could be. They didn t let me leave till it was hooked up correctly to my vehicle. Most appreciated. Thanks Brian and team.

I broke my landing jack mechanism on my 5th Wheel. I called them, scheduled an appointment immediately. Brian had to order the part, went back the next day and repair completed in an hour.As a solo, Female Traveler, we hear horror stories on getting ripped off. So, sharing this review I hope to save any solo travelers from any headaches.I have no problems recommending Sport Land to any traveler. Brian is very knowledgeable, knows his stuff. Very fair priced for labor, repair man (I forgot his name) was polite, efficient, explained the parts and showed me the damaged part.Thank you guys for helping me out of a troubled situation.I also acknowledge, the problem was my user error. I did not raise my rear stabilizers before trying to raise my jacks. I really put some torque on the mechanism.

Needed some advice and parts for replacing and repairing the propane system on my trailer. Staff were exceptionally helpful and had all the parts I needed. With their guidance, I was able to DIY the job. I will continue to shop for parts and supplies and service here.

This place is 5 Star Amazing! Service doesn't get any better than this! We travel through this area periodically and twice now have had unforeseen problems with our RVs - pulled in there and they've gone out of their way to work us in immediately - fix our problem and get us back on the road quickly. Just left there today after realizing we had a wheel bearing going out (on our brand new 2016 fifth wheel.. not expected). They were swamped at the time we arrived, but made a spot for us and got us back on the road with a new wheel bearing within an hour. Can't say enough good things about this place. Quality service - friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable staff. And superior work!

Very poor quality in the trailers they offer. Not to mention the employees were very pushy to make a sale. I had previously looked at getting a trailer for my father, when I back to see other options, they were rude, demeaning in my lack of knowledge and said maybe your dad need to come talk for himself. Besides how can an 85 year old man afford it!! I m sorry he is old and didn t fit your age group to qualify to buy from you!! I guess that was a cash sale you lost due to your ignorance and assumption!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE when looking for a trailer etc unless of course you like to be ripped off and treated like your nothing!! !

Rented an RV for a vacation. Staff couldn't answer basic questions about water tank size, etc. Website said the rental we put a deposit on had an A/C and they informed my spouse and me as we were signing that there was no A/C. Windshield wipers were shot and almost led to an accident on the highway. When I brought this up they said, "The prior renters never said anything." You are a business renting vehicles and the safety standards for those vehicles fall on YOU as the business, not on word of mouth from prior customers. They told me I could have bought new ones and kept the receipt to be reimbursed. Sorry, that didn't cross my mind in the moment of almost getting into an accident on the highway at 65+ with windshield wipers that smeared everything around. Would not recommend. Terrible customer service.

All of the staff are absolutely wonderful and kind. I was able to speak to the mechanic who was installing my gooseneck hitch personally. They have competitive pricing and were able to get me in as soon as humanly possible. I'll definitely be back!

I bought a 4 horse from Sportland years ago and they have serviced it ever since. I have also rented from them. They have always been fair and done an excellent job in a timely fashion. Really good folks to deal with. I highly recommend them and their work.

We had to stop by Sportland twice with problems with a Cruise America RV rental. The folks at Sportland were fantastic. They immediately problem-solved the issues and fixed what could be fixed without hesitation. They even took care of some things we hadn't asked about. A great place to get work done on an RV!

These guys were lifesavers! Had a propane leak in my motorhome, and was looking at a major repair bill just to find it. Dropped it off expecting an all-day search for the problem, and they had in done in 90 minutes!Honest, and straightforward, I would recommend them to ANY RV owner.These guys are the best..........:)

I have had a rv since 1971 and over nearly 50 years i cannot say i have had very many good experiences at a rv repair shop.My wife and I have driven by Sportland in Lolo alot but never stopped in until we were looking for a storage Shed..We take delvery of a sweet 10x16 mini barn next week..Don sold us our Montana Shed, Don is a salesman you remember because he actually cares about the customer...rare these days!Next great experience there was this week when we picked up our 13 year old motorhome. Brian the owner of Sportland is another person you wont forget, he's kind, professional and appreciates your' business. He and his experienced mechanics fixed our slideout and levelers and 4 holding tank potable water drain valves quickly and was back in our yard in a four days only because of there was a weekend in between... some drain valves needed to be ordered.We all know what missoula has to offer in terms of rv repair shops. They have way too many eggs in their basket and the turn around time is well lets just say "alot of patience is required"Sportland does not have all the bells and whistles the other places have, but they have awesome Montana Sheds for sale and a large 5 star repair shop and parts selection.The next time you have to slow down going into Lolo Montana on hwy 93 south make a left into a place that is commited to excellence with a smile from the front desk to your' keys back in your' hand in a timely manner.

Started out good when I was buying a new $700 Andersen hitch from them. But after 5 months of repeatedly having to take both towing rig and trailer in for (sometimes) days of work, only to finally tell Brian I'd lost faith and just wanted to try another system. He told me to bring it in and he'd take care of it. His wife Cheryl didn't get the memo. She treated me rudely, accused me of all sorts of things, yelled at me (witnessed), was livid with rage, and got into my bank account without my permission to refund $425. She refused to give Brian my subsequent phone messages, kept a letter from him, and otherwise behaved unprofessionally and threateningly toward me.I later met with Brian and the Andersen rep. in an attempt to remedy the problem. Brian refused to take any responsibility in the situation. I asked for an apology, which I never received. I will never do business with Sportland again, and consider them highly unethical and untrustworthy.

Best rv repair shop I have dealt with. Lost the brakes on my 5th wheel on the first day of a 2 month trip. All the shops were very busy and couldn't get me in. When I spoke to Brian, who also was booked up, he told me if I was there 1st thing in the morning the tech would look at it and try to get me going. Twenty minutes later I was on the road with brakes. I would definitely recommend this shop. I can't remember the tech's name but he w as great.

These people are the very best! Great service, knowledgeable and friendly. We store our trailer here and it's always ready to go when we want to leave on a camping trip. Come late Fall they winterize it for us and throw the cover on top. Kept safe behind the fence - no worries. Just wish they had inside storage somewhere (hint!). Thanx guys!

I was travelling on a Feb ski trip when my 1995 VW Camper's rear heater went out. The Sport Land service team rearranged their schedule to fit me in and was able to fix the heater. As you might imagine, I was really grateful to have a working heater when winter camping. Thanks

Sport Land was great. We had some minor damage to our travel trailer. They were able to fit us in immediately and fix the damage to to an almost new status. I plan to take my trailer back to these guys again.

We had trouble with our 5th wheel on the way from Oklahoma to Spokane, Washington. It was close to closing time yet was told to come anyway and they would help us out. Rich was super nice and very courteous as well as the entire staff. We will never forget the kindness showm to our family at a very stressful time.

Boy I don't know what the guy with the hitch was complaining about. I've had Sportland put on 5 or 6 hitches for me over the years and let me tell you something: These guys know what they are doing, they stand behind their product and they have always treated me with great respect. I will ONLY do business with Sportland trailers for my hitches. I've also purchased a trailer or two from them. Great guys and a great company to do business with. Love 'em.

Bought a hallmark enclosed snowmobile trailer from them a long time ago. Treated me right then and continue to do so! They don t only sell trailers and parts btw! Check them out for All your RV needs I think you ll be pleasantly surprised! Highly recommend!

These guys are crooks, we stored our trailer there 1 winter had them winterize and de winterize it, while they had the key they took it out somewhere... When it came back it had dirty womens underwear stuck on the mattress, when they de winterized it they broke the low drain valve and priceeded to charge us for it months later, we also had special blocks for under the tongue and they just up and took one and gave itto someone else.... Never do business with these guys
