We have been bringing our vehicles to Special Lube for awhile now and are happy with their services, customer service and staff! They are helpfu, friendly and knowledgeable. Also quick, I never have to wait long periods of time and am able to get right in. They also are a backed by Technet so if you are on the road after your oil change you can get help elsewhere too. A nice peace of mind aspect!

My wife was in town for an appointment and she needed her oil changed. I dropped her off and pulled up to get the oil changed and they got me in right away. I was done before her appointment was over (in just a few minutes). One happy husband! Highly recommend!

I am sitting in the waiting room that is very pleasant! I know my oil chang will be done quickly! I love coming here, knowing it s the best deal and done very well! And so fast!!

Not very impressed with this business! Stopped in a couple of days ago for an oil change. Asked them to make sure they greased all zerks under the vehicle and their response was there aren't any. I know there are 5 on the drive shafts and I checked their work after I got home. Needless to say they didn't touch them! I looked further at things and found that they had not checked the rear differential for fluid, as specified, because I could tell the plug hadn't been touched! I'm sure they didn't check most of the other things as specified on the bill. I also noticed there was oil dripping from the skid plate. When I removed the plate to investigate, I found their oil wrench still attached to the oil canister housing! Not sure if I will take the wrench back or not! I'm 65 years old and it's hard for me to do my own mechanical work anymore, but I still had to crawl under the vehicle to grease the driveshafts and remove the skid plate! I would not recommend this business to anyone!!!

This is THE BEST shop in Livingston. Quick oil change and excellent brake service. Professional and could not be happier. I d recommend these guys even if you have to come all the way from Bozeman. 10/10

These guys are top notch. Took my glorious Corvette in for a pre-winter-storage oil change and one of the guys even realigned my hood with the fenders from some shoddy body work that I had done last spring. Very helpful, knowledgeable crew. Will be taking all of my business to Special Lube!

Travelling from Canada needed a oil change stopped in first thing in the morning. Vehicle went in quickly and was worked on right away. This was our first experience with speciality lube. Seems to be great service. Would suggest having someone at the desk at all times to address customers concerns etc. (as it looks like they are trying to hire )Thanks for the quick service

I needed an oil change before driving back home but every place near me was booked two weeks out. Thankfully Special Lube accepts walk ins and got my oil change done within 15 minutes. They were unable to do tire rotations on my car today but pointed me in another direction which shows great customer service. Staff was friendly and helpful.Service: Oil change

Since new ownership has taken over, this place is open consistently and knocks things out of the ballpark quick! Couldn't be happier taking all my vehicles here to get quality work done at reasonable prices. They do charge a 3% cc fee, so keep that in mind if you don't carry cash but I'm glad to help a local shop out and endure the small fee. They'll even answer some questions to help with other things and services they don't do. Super friendly and professional folks for sure. Keep it up y'all!

I used to dread getting my oil changed because it was so hard to get in anywhere but having Special Lube right down the street makes it an easy errand. The staff is personable and professional and they always give me a run down of how my vehicle is looking under the hood at the end of the visit so I can budget for any future work or get more time-sensitive things taken care of.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Oil change

Coming through town hauling horses and needed and oil change on a Saturday afternoon they got me in right away where fast, clean and got me back in the road within 30 minutes, went above and beyond to add fluids to needed areas! Highly recommend

Second time coming here and very pleased with the service. They re quick and efficient and they ve gotten us in for an oil change when no one else in town (Bozeman) could do it. We live in the park (2 hour drive one way) so we re very grateful to be able to walk in and get our oil changed quickly with no appointment.
