Checked in at front desk. Got key and as soon as we started to walk toward the hallway to go to the room a horrible overwhelming smell hit us. Got to the room on the first floor and the room smelled awful as well. Went back to front desk and got a different room. Got to that room to find the room wasn t cleaned Beds not made and towels were on floor. So again we had to talk to the front desk about this room as well. Got key for third room. Beds were made bathroom clean So we took our luggage in and left for dinner. When we got back I asked front desk did she call a manager? She said yes but she is out of town and if we want to talk to her she will be here tomorrow morning at seven am . Went back to room to find the bed had dirty sheets. Hair on sheets and pillow cases too and dry skin between the sheets. Barbie, you may want to change up your canned response and act like you care about your customers because they pay your salary and your bills.

Extremely disappointed with this facility. Horrible sewer type smell upon entering which became overwhelming when we got to our room. Contacted the front desk and we were moved to another room which had not been cleaned. Moved to another room which was clean and did not smell, but the cleanliness of the bedding was questionable. Front desk person was young, inexperienced and pleasant, but didn t seem too concerned with our complaints. We were told the manager had been contacted, but she would not be in until tomorrow morning. Would not recommend this facility to anyone. Go back to Billings or further down I-90 west to book a room.Barbie, you might want to act like you give a damn about your customers and their issues instead of your repeated canned answer or pretty soon you won t have any customers.

Location is convenient right of the highway with some restaurants and stores nearby. I have stayed here before but this time my stay was not very good and will not be staying here again. My room was fine. The trash can was on the sink, there was hair in my sink and shower, and the sheet had a stain. The service wasn't good and the food is eh. The worst part is that I was woken up at 7:40 AM by louding knocking and noises in the room above me. I get it you have to do maintenance but how about you wait till a later time to do it so your paying customers can sleep. Do not stay here.

Place can really use better management. It's really taken a dive sense our last stay. Rooms are in need of update, hot tub hasn't worked for sometime now. The breakfast is not properly handled after initial set up. No longer serving the biscuits and gravy, fruit isn't even close to freah. Rest just shows managements lack of care . On a positive note the employees seem to do what they can even with managment shifting blame onto them they are only as good as their leader and conditions they create by lack of maintaining and updating facilities and customer satisfaction and comfort.Rooms: Outdated lack good upkeepFood & drinks: Not great

I do not normally leave reviews, but I do not want anyone else to experience what we did. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Something needs to change with cleaning at this hotel, before I can recommend it. We had more than one room. The rooms hadn't been cleaned. There were human feces in the bathroom, bugs flying around. It's very disgusting when you're planning to walk into a clean room and find them like this. We had to leave and go to another hotel in the area. We were not the only ones at the front desk saying the rooms were not clean. I hope this hotel improves soon! We tried to work with management and they were unwilling to refund us. I will say the gentleman at the front desk was kind.Rooms: Gross

The is motel has definitely gone way downhill since our last visit. The only good part of our stay was the very friendly person that checked us OUT. The pool isn t working, the breakfast was horrible, the handle on the toilet stuck, causing the toilet to run continuously and the lady that checked us in was rather rude We have stayed here many times and had always had a great experience. But for the price we paid, I expect everything to be exceptional. It was far below our expectations!

Great location, close to everything. Room had a half drank dr pepper in it, and there was a space heater for heat. The bathroom has had obvious repaired damages. It's a okay stay.Walkability: Lots of things in walking distance

Room not the cleanest....curtains have stains and windows are filthy, microwave broken in room and when reported to staff on 2nd night of stay, wasn't even written down or reported. Front desk lady told us the microwave in the breakfast area was also broken and that staff is aware of it. Room is a non-smoking room but definitely smelled like cigarettes. We had to have our room keys recorded every night. Swimming pool and hot tub weren't working. Completely sloppy service altogether!! I've been advised the Locomotive Inn has better service even though the place is a lot older. I will not recommend to anyone. Definitely not worth the money I paid.

It was late as we were driving through Billings. All reviews for the hotels off the freeway weren't great with some sketchy reviews of their experience & stay, so although tired we decided to drive on. Took a chance & stayed @ this place as it was a little further out of town & reviews were good. We felt safe & had an excellent stay here. We arrived very late & Front desk guy quickly checked us in. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was great with lots of options available. Best part of my stay was the breakfast encounter with the very sweet, attentive older lady tending to her breakfast duties. She did a great job refilling/stocking items, making sure nothing was low and keeping area & tables cleaned. Her pride in her work really showed & I hope this deserving woman gets some recognition for her all hard work!! She made our stay experience here even much better! Thank you!Rooms: CleanFood & drinks: Breakfast was great. Theres a McDonald's across the parking lot

When we arrived to our room, it was dirty! The beds were made, but pillow cases and sheets were dirty. There were crumbs and sticky stuff on the nightstand and table. We asked for a new room. Air Conditioner in the rooms are broken. Mirror had toothpaste water on it, and sink was dirty, at least the bed was clean this time. Apparently, the pool, laundry room, and air conditioning have all been down for over a month. No refund or compensation. I have never left a bad review like this, but I have never had such bad service! We are on a family vacation, this is our 5th place to stay, and the worst I have EVER experienced.

I was driving from Bigfork MT to SD when my car broke down on I90 and had to be towed in the middle of a huge storm .. thankfully, this Motel was right across the street from the dealership where my car went and they were able to get me a room . The first night there I was on a bottom floor and there was a school in the rooms above and I got NO sleep at all (not motels fault ) but the second night the front desk agent Jimmy was more then happy to move me to a top floor and I slept good ... ALL of the staff were very accommodating and very friendly . I forgot my puppy's bowls in the room when I moved upstairs and the housekeeper brought them to my new room. Even though they were busy doing their jobs, they still all found time to have conversations with me and made me feel welcome . Upon leaving, I reserved another room for my way back home, and the night girl, Kacey, made sure I was all set ... the motel is dog friendly as well, and my puppy enjoyed all of the attentionRooms: The rooms were clean and comfortable, although the first room was out of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. I still managed, and normally, I bring my own it was just supposed to be a quick trip, so I didn't this timeSafety: I felt like I was very safe hereWalkability: It is in walking distance to numerous fast food ,CVS pharmacy ,gas station , tractor supply and most importantly where my car was being repairedFood & drinks: I didn't get to have breakfast the first morning because most of it was gone by 7am, probably because of the school that was there but the second morning I had eggs potatoes and bisquett and gravyNoteworthy details: I work at a motel myself and I feel that one of the most important things when staying at a motel other then it being clean is service and the whole staff at this motel went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comphortable , because of them I will be staying here again on my frequent trips across to pick up my grandsons ... they all deserve a raise !!!

Would have rated a full 5 star, if there wasnt a slight issue, on the day my fiancee and went down. The food was pretty good. The atmosphere was relaxing. The shower was warm enough. The drain on the floor could have had a better build. The water was draining out onto the floor and out the door had use spare towels to keep the water in the bathroom. The cleaning lady the fallowing morning tried to enter our room 3 hours early from checkout. I was in the shower and the misses was sleeping I hear the knock but couldn't respond she responded but the Lady still tried. Luckily the flip lock on the top was set. Other than that. It was a much more affordable place than most and they accept locals.

Place is absolutely filthy. We had already paid and could not get a refund. Room was not cleaned. Beds made with dirty sheets. Two other families had the same issue while we checked in. AC is broken. My wife had to go across the parking lot to walmart and pick up sanitizer wipes for the hard surfaces in the room. Someone had an accident in the public toilet in the lobby and the staff has not addressed it. Pool is out of commission not that I would trust its cleanliness. And the fruit in the breakfast nook is rotting in the basket. Thats coming from a hillbilly redneck from the backwoods of Idaho!

Place was nasty dirty. Told the desk they sent someone who took the trash that was in the room and threw it in the hallway. Counter top had not been wiped, still shaving stuff from previous occupants. Only one wash cloth. On and on. That was the aggravating part. The room smelled so bad of cat pee it was horrible. Sat on the bed in the morning and had cat hair all over. Absolutely disgusting. Oh, don't worry, we will have the manager call you. Bad joke. Never did.

This hotel has serious issues with its air conditioning. My employees stayed there in April & May and the rooms were so hot, but only one was able to be accommodated with a "cooler" room. Due to the location, we need to stay there again and I called the hotel, it's June, and they still don't have air in all of the rooms and can't guarantee one with it!! 80 degrees and rooms like ovens???? not good

We arrived very late. The guy at the front desk was awesome. The room was o.k. but the air conditioner didn't work well. I was on the first floor and wasn't comfortable opening the window. In the morning while I was leaving I noticed MANY rooms with their windows opened & a few rooms that looked to have portable air conditioning vents in the windows. Very disappointing....

The hotel and all the staff were amazing! We booked through a third party booking site and they unfortunately had something messed up with payment on their end which of course made our hearts stop when we got a bill at checkout. But with the AGM s (barby I believe her name was) help we got it completed fixed! She was very sweet and patient with us through it all. Breakfast set up was also wonderful. Beds were on the stiff side but otherwise rooms were very clean and comfortable. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be back on our next trip through town.

This is a place I would not recommend at all.. What first bothered me about this gentlemen in particular was that I heard him talking to someone, that must have also worked there. I overheard him talking to this person while I was at the Lobby doing some computer work, about how he takes advantage of people, and the company. What also was concerning was the fact that he was a maintenance worker, has a master key and can go into peoples rooms if he likes. Then if someone complains that he will be "covered" and his boss vouches for him...While I was staying the night here, and needed service. I ended up coming across by this person who called himself "Frank", At first. I later found out that really his name was Richard. My complaint was about the room, and when I was telling him about the issue. He just rolled his eyes, Was totally rude to me and told me that If I didn't like it that I could just go somewhere else and not stay here ,and laughed at me about it, and told me to quit bothering him and figure it out myself.
