Flathead Lake is stunning. The water is as smooth as glass. The lake is HUGE. The largest in Montana. I had the pleasure and privilege of driving around it while visiting family in Montana. I was told it is a fresh water resource they use for drinking water supply also. It really is one of the most beautiful lakes I have ever seen.

The first idea that came into my mind when I found my spot here was that this must the Five Star of all lake and camping destinations. Camping spot ten paces from the lake which is absolutely gorgeous. You will find beautiful sunrise and sunsets here with fantastic facilities and very helpful staff.

West Shore is a beautiful park! There is so much space to have a great day by the lake. There are campgrounds with reasonable prices, walking trails, a boat dock, and picnic areas with bathrooms!Restrooms: A few restrooms located throughout the park.Picnic area: Plenty of space for picnic areas and picnic tables!

Awesome spot on Loop B for late season RV camping. With water off for winter there was 30/50 amp electric service and a very large and fairly level site where I stayed 2 nights. There were very few other users and it was nice and dark and quiet. Me and my dog enjoyed it immensely!

Very nice place to go and just soak in the beauty of Montana's Flathead lake. Excellent for little hikes in and around the lake shore. Your kids will thoroughly enjoy the beach that's loaded with skipping rock's. Enjoy this little bit of serenity as much as I do.

Loop A-13, good site. Trees and bushes on both sites of u. Bathroom across the street and a water. Camp host come around 7 every night carrying ice and wood. Drive to beach or walk. Bathrooms and water there also. There isn t a sandy beach but easy enough to walk down the rocks. Kayak rentals where fun. We would go back. More space between sites the Big Arm. No service at campsite. There is service at the lake though. Have fun campers

Nice drive, beautiful like. Not a lot of places to pull over and park was super crowded. We had to wait in line to be able to go in.

Beautiful lake it's huge. The campground is amazing It's like camping in the forest, but it's tight for RVs over 18ft.

Some breath taking views around the lake. I can see how Montana got the name big sky country !Picnic area: There are picnic tables located around the park and some along the lake.

Some road noise but nice stop in a small RV. Shady sites. Lake is stunning. Kids spent hours skipping rocks and enjoying being at the water. Will stay here again!

This place is gorgeous. There are a few state parks where u can hike and also sit by the lake. It feels like a sea. We didn t want to leave. If you aren t MT resident you have to pay $8/day state park pass for the state park areas entry.

A beautiful day, maintained and easy access, parking can be an issue. Of course Flathead Lake us incredibly beautiful

Probably one of the prettiest lakes in the US. Great hiking, excellent spot to visit. Lots of fun places to stop by on the way to and from Missoula. 10/10 would recommend if you are a living being who enjoys the natural world.

It's a beautiful location. B13 set on the hill which was nice. Loved the grills over the fire. That set the table for some delicious food. Showers would be nice but hey it's camping!

Fantastic camp ground with some brilliant RV sites. We visited in a 29ft RV and had no issues with spaces. The electrical hook up was great and the walks in the morning were good too.

This is a small park with a day use area on flathead lake. The views from here are beautiful.

Such a beautiful park and great campsites. It's quiet, has lots of hiking trails, and has great lake views! Will definitely be coming back.

This is a beautiful state park located along the shores of Flathead Lake. There are picnic areas here, boat access, hiking trails, and a beautiful little stretch of beach. It's a great area to get away from it all and relax to the gentle sound of the waves breaking against the shore line.

Pleasant, ready hiking trails. Awesome views of the lake. During the camping season the staff is friendly and helpful.

We stayed in B loop, site 2. I have mixed feelings about this state park. Pro's...It is beautiful, it's secluded, saw lots of deer, quiet, and the vault toilets were clean. Con's...view was obstructed by a lot of the trees (it's listed as having a water view), no water hookup, and the biggest draw back is the closest dump station is 6 miles away and you have to pay $10.

Good trails. Beautiful shore line. Camping spots look good, not too close together.

Water was really nice. A little rocky Shore but still easy to stand and Wade with children.
