Very professional and competent. Additionally, I received a thorough overview of my vehicle that I was able to process on my own time, without sales pressure. They properly diagnosed the problem that I presented and offered a great solution. My appointment was perfectly managed, so I only had to part with my vehicle as I had planned, and everything was timely. The employees are passionate about their work, and I trust them. Hello Travis!My Dad and I both brought vehicles to your shop. Chad at the Front Desk was fantastic to work with. Between my Dad and I and the various concerns we had with our vehicles we were in and out of your shop a few times. Chad always made time to answer my questions and really went out of his way to figure out the priority of what repairs were needed. He even asked Gabe, the mechanic, who had diagnosed my car to clarify some of my car's issues.For all the work you did for my car and what it could have cost me I thought you were more than fair.Thank You for making our Vehicle Repairs--less painful.Lucinda and My Dad - Ed

Nasty, unethical and condescending Shop Manager Mark lied multiple times about being able to repair our transmission. We had to tow the Land Rover LR4 64 miles each way only to discover that this shop lacks the knowledge and tools for our repair. We already knew what the error codes were. We told him when we spoke on the phone. Mark lured us to Loren's to rerun the same error codes and attempted to bully us into a charge of $218.40. No service was performed. This shop cannot be trusted for even a simple oil change- which is apparently all that this shop is capable of.Edit to Owner's Response:Dishonest and disrespectful!No transparency- We were not allowed to speak with the technician who actually evaluated our vehicle. So none of our questions were answered as to what evaluation was done.No honesty- Loren's lacks the knowledge and tools to make any transmission repairs for a Land Rover. We, of course, inquired about this many times in every way possible prior to towing our vehicle to and from this shop. Mark told us that Loren's was capable of repairs, but later recanted while shouting at us. We would have no reason to tow our vehicle to a shop incapable of repairs. It was already looked at by a reputable shop closer to our home. That is how we already knew the error codes.This is not a matter of miscommunication, this is a matter of intentionally being deceived by someone who knew they were manipulating us.Mark was initially thrilled to see that we have a service contract, but quickly decided that our warranty company was too difficult to deal with and immediately began attempting to bully us into bypassing the warranty company and letting him send our vehicle out to some mystery shop (he would not tell us who) where a used transmission would be installed without a warranty or any accountability. This third party used transmission with an upcharge added by Loren's would be a "bargain" for more than four thousand dollars. No reasonable customer would take such a risk.The nasty attitude when we returned to tow the vehicle away was quite startling and extremely disrespectful.It was initially quite encouraging to see a response to our review by the Owner of Loren's Auto Repair. Sadly, the response was simply making comments about our service contract company and not embraced as an opportunity to correct a customer service problem.It is very clear that your shop is fully committed to this policy of poor customer care and communication and solely focused on scamming each and every customer at each and every opportunity.This was our first encounter with this repair shop. We took the time to write this review to protect our friends and neighbors from this dishonorable business.

Great service. My truck was stuck in a parking lot and ready to be towed. They allowed me to tow it to the shop more than 2 weeks before my scheduled time. Then, when a client didn't show on time, they squeezed my repair in and got me moving again! Everyone was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.

Lauren's Auto Repair was great. When I first got my van I took it in for an oil change and inspection before I head out on a long cross country road trip. They found several small items that needed addressing, so I made am appointment to get them all done before leaving. I got my van back yesterday and everything was fixed, the van is running great and I don't have to worry about issues on my travels. Really appreciate how their shop prioritizes/rates necessary repairs over items that aren't critical to help minimize repair costs on my high mileage vehicles. There is no free lunch owning older vehicles and their approach helps me budget for future repairs so I can safely operate my vehicles well into the future.

My husband and I have been fans of Loren's Auto for 20 plus years and value their honesty and service. Our daughter who lives in Los Angeles brought her car in on one of her visits and wishes she had a mechanic like Loren's near her.

Love this shop! The guys and gal are so knowledgeable and professional. Mark is a true motor head and he always answers the phone! They are not the cheapest place to go but we highly recommend. I trust Loren s as they are honest, knowledgeable, detailed oriented, and have great customer service. They let me know if the see something that doesn t need service now but will in the future. Drove my BMW to Whitefish to work for a month from another state (let s call it California). I needed to get my car serviced at a place agreeable to my maintenance/warranty company. I also had a check engine light on, so suspected there was a problem. Loren s was just perfect.Chad and the other Loren s folks were awesome. Their communications with me and my maintenance folks were terrific. Regarding U-joint on my JK, the failure I see was the center support of the CV joint. From the surrounding discoloration, I suspect it started as a dust seal failure and led to excessive center pin wear. I know this isn t entirely a rare type of failure. The important thing is, I'm glad to be rolling again. This was my second visit to Loren's. Previous work on my F150 was good, got five stars. However, this time communication was difficult. First, I was told the clunking was probably a U-joint. That much I could agree on. Then I was told the driveshaft was too long and there had been trouble removing it. I asked how "too long" a driveshaft could have been installed in the first place, 40k miles ago since new. Then I asked by how much? I was told maybe two inches, they d have to measure. I know there can be an inch of slack at the transmission, and didn't have eyeballs on how it was measured, but two inches! I asked if corrosion had made it difficult to remove the shaft. I was told, no. Then the plan was to send the shaft out to a specialty driveline shop. Loren's would take precise measurements and let this shop know. It was determined the shaft was 1/2 inch too long. Then I was told they were waiting for the speciality shop to get back to them. It took longer than expected. After a second call at the end of the day, I was told better not to push, that Loren's would be advised when ready. I have no complaints about the delay. Just would have appreciated being kept informed as events progressed and delay got longer. I asked Loren's why they decided to send the shaft out, and if they were capable of a U-joint repair that typically is not considered complex. I'm still not sure why but maybe a second opinion was needed. After a day-and-a-half waiting, I was told the shaft length was ok, got a new yoke and bearings, and it was being delivered back to Loren's for installation into my rig.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Your crew was awesome. I made such a bone head mistake by putting racing fuel in my Tundra. From the 1st phone call I made to them until I picked it up they were very professional. They warned me that it might not get in the shop until October - but I think it was like 6 days and all done. Was very nice. Thank you.

Loren s was great! They called me by name upon arrival. They provided the old parts without being asked. They found the solution to the problem quickly. They were professional and honest. I was visiting from north Idaho when the alternator went out in my 2002 ford ranger. These guys sqeezed me in and got me back on the road in less than 4 hours. They REALLY saved the day! Thank you SO much!

Hands down the best auto repair experience I have ever had. The staff was super friendly and took care of me quickly and efficiently. Starting from Chad and Makayla it was a really great experience. The text updates on the work needed to be completed was super easy and convenient. The work seems to be okay but I see that you have the wrong engine listed for my 2001 Dodge Caravan. I have the 3.8 motor instead of the 3.3 motor listed. There could be a problem with parts when I return for scheduled work if you go by this. I will add that as a retired ASE Mastertech mechanic, I know that the engine code is the 8th digit in the serial number, which is "L", and corresponds to the 3.8 liter motor.

I have taken 2 of my vehicles here for repair. I finally found a shop that I trust 100%. They may be higher priced, but you can be assured the job is done right and you won't need to come back in for the same fix (as has happened too many times in recent years). Highly recommend this place.
