Any business that chooses to be political doesn't get my business. Doesn't matter what side. My husband saw the sticker on the front door immediately turned around.

This pawnshop is kinda a joke, no care for the community at all. I've tested what I'm about to share numerous times, a few different ways, but if you have something like say a guitar worth 500.00$ they will look up the brand, choose the cheapest one on the list and try to give you a quarter of that price. On video I went too the other shops in town. They all quoted me about the same for my items ( 200.00 being the number this time) then when I went to modern their employees refused to look into the item via model or serial number and actually told me I was waisting their time, that I was cheap and offered me 30.00$... Again this is all on video if you'd like to see look it up on YouTube. We love our Helena community,around here we watch out for one and another... Watch out for these people they will rob you blind, then make you feel bad for it.

I have been apart of Modern Pawn almost my entire life. I have seen about every situation you could possibly see in a lifetime, which isn t always the most pleasant. The owner and employees at Modern Pawn have always handled each situation honestly and considerably. Modern Pawn is always giving back to the community and supports other businesses which is pretty respectable in my opinion. I highly recommend this establishment.

Great people, wonderful, service, and wonderful business neighbors!:) They are always respectful when it comes to our spaces, and are very easy people to talk to. They are a very supportive business! I recommend Modern Pawn!!

Huge waist of time! Three trips from Lincoln for nothing. Very disappointed with the misleading, misinformation craziness.Obviously they don't care about there customers. No $ exchanged just a loss of our time, gas, and being excited for days thinking we were buying something. Never coming back. Wouldn't wish this experience on anyone. They get a 0 in my book!

"WOW" These guys are fantastic I got the greatest deal on some tools and other things. Great friendly service followed with some laughs. I love coming into a business where everyone's is having a good time. The selection was great If I had more money with me and the room I would have bought more. Thank for the great experience Modern Pawn. Always nice when the owner is down to Earth and joking with you. I read some of the other reviews and dont get why some people dont take responsibility for their own actions. I just want to say your mad you didnt pay your bill so your loss my gain.

I have to be completely honest with my experience with this place it has always been sublime and great but since the owners have changed it has been rediculous especially with the heavy set employee that does not give me a third of the value of my stuff barely one tenth of the value as well as today I caught him in a lie telling me that the product was found on eBay for $800 and it's a $3,000 dollar tool Iooked it up on eBay myself and couldn't find it for less then $1,800 he was trying to give me $300 for a tool worth almost $2,000 on eBay how sick and low is that they have really really just lowered the standard and they should be embarrassed having that employee in the shop everything I bring in there I barely get one tenth of the value and now they are lying about the value on eBay NEVER COMING BACK I'll give it away before selling my tools to the crooks ever again how low they have fallen since the owners changedEveryone saying Tony is this and that is wrong tony has always been amazing and great with me and my husband but since he's not there it's turned into a terrible place and the employee that lied to me and said he could find my tool for $800 should be fired I was asking $500 for well over $5,000 in tools and he said he would only do $300 then went lower wish Tony was still there

Modern Pawn is hands down the best place to buy or sell for extremely reasonable prices! Not only is the pricing affordable, Tony and his team are kind, honest, compassionate people who work with you while making it an enjoyable experience! I highly recommend this place for an upgraded life!

John and Tony have gotten my family through some tough times and I will always recommend doing business with them! Honesty and integrity wasn't something I expected from a pawn shop but these guys are gold.

A variety of merchandise to choose from, along with a wide selection of movies. One of the cleaner pawnshops I've been to. The staff is knowledgeable and courteous. John was extremely helpful in assisting me with finding the things I was looking for.

Visited the store. Met with the owner and employees. These are honest people doing honest business. They don't really care about a single negative review, because their customer base is local and they have many regulars.Long rifles, shotguns, pistols. Tools, movies, XBOX, numismatic.. and they do some online business. Having run an online business with eBay, it is challenging and a different environment, rife with potential fraud. I believe these guys are doing an honest business, and have since hired on someone to specialize in online dealings.

The Owner Tony Everett is a pretty shifty fella. His dealings are usually at best borderline unethical. He charges outrages amounts for broken/damaged items and turns around and tell you that they were just fine in his shop. On the flip side he gives you nickles on the dollar for items that are in excellent condition you want to sell him. He pretends to be struggling financially, but this is all a lie. Please avoid this place like the plague (By the condition of the place it may have a plague).

John and Tony run an amazing business. I ve pawned, bought, and sold things through modern pawn. I ve always bought items for less than what they were worth, if the item was broken or did work they always made it right. Honestly I would give them 10 stars if it would let me.

Very friendly and professional staff!I have been coming here for years now, and the crew always does me right...especially the one (who i named for anonymity) Brojob. This gentleman is polite, handsome, and smart. He always does me right, and I enjoy looking into his eyes longingly as we barter prices on a playstation 4.Oh, how I long to be with you, Brojob. I have been dealing originally with ERNST. HE UNDERSTOOD AS A WOMAN THAT I WAS IN A SITUATION WHERE I HAD TO PAWN WITH BEING ABLE TO GET A SPECIFIED AMOUNT OF CASH. AT THE TIME, NOBODY KNEW THAT I WAS DOING A CHRISTIAN ACT OF KINDNESS TO HELP OUT MY FELLOW MAN. ERNST WAS GOOD TO ME AND GAVE ME EXACTLY AND ONLY THE AMOUNT OF CASH I NEEDED TO COMPLETE MY "ACT OF KINDNESS TO ANOTHER "CHRISTIAN".I HAD NO PROBLEMS AND AM STILL HAPPY WITH MY SERVICE. ERNST, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER STAFF WERE VERY POLITE TO ME. I WILL GO BACK AGAIN, IF NEEDS BE. HOPEFULLY, I WON'T HAVE TO PAWN ANOTHER THING.I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS.I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED.

I live in nv and got a good deal on shipping and they were every trustworthy and my shipment got here in 4 days not to bad I would shop here more often they got 90% right tools for the job

Terrible... owner and employees are morons. The only good review on here is from one of the employees!! Don't waste your time here, go to capital pawn and save yourself from dealing with these imbeciles
