I purchased a basic membership. My child decided to click on buttons on my laptop one day and purchased a vehicle. I tried canceling the purchase once I realized. I called up Copart and they told me I still had to pay them. So I just 'winged' it and decided I will just keep the vehicle. I get it over to my city and I notice there are issues with it. I replaced the battery. I buy the permanent plates and fix the plugs and everything else on it. I take it on the highway and my hose literally split in half. I called up body shops and no one had one that would fit my vehicle. Finally, I find one and an hour later I get back on the highway. All of a sudden my vehicle was slowing us down. I pulled off to the side of the road and a mechanic pulled behind me and said that I had a blown head gasket. Could this get any worse? Yes, it did. We had to wait 2 hours to be picked up and I had to find a place for my kids to stay warm. Thankfully, some awesome people helped me and my kids out. Someone checked out my vehicle a few days after and said that the entire engine needs replaced and that they couldn't find one for the car. So I have to get it junked and am out of over 4k. I will never go through this place again. My tax refund is gone. My kids could've froze out in the cold.

Front staff was terrific. The "manager" was rude, aggressive, unprofessional, basically came out yelling from a simple question.

Been a loyal customer, especially to this location. New management is supposedly following the rules that were supposed to be in place. Numerous complaints about theses "new" rules. But the main one is not allowing someone to look at a vehicle until it's scheduled for auction. That leaves 1 week for people to get there and look at a vehicle which is not enough time for people that don't live in helena. On top of that apparently you can only look at 3 vehicles at a time. What a joke. Not to mention ive never once waited that long to pick up a vehicle or go look at one. There's no reasonable reason why I can look at a future sale vehicle. Especially now that you have to sit and wait for an "escort". Their excuse is because it might not actually go up for sale. What does that change if I look at it?? Don't post it online if you can't even come physically check it out. I digress. Guess I better renew my IAA membership.

Can t say enough good things about Copart Helena. Such nice and helpful people. It was our first time buying from Copart. We bought a motorhome. Everyone was great and Eric was especially helpful. We really appreciated your help and patience!

Staff are friendly and the facility is one of the better ones I've been to. But I observed multiple vehicles taking additional damage from their shippers loading and unloading. Bumper in the seat? Yeah it came off while they unloaded the car and was run over. Definitely won't pay any of their people to move my vehicles if I can avoid it.

I love the variety of cars. I signed up for basic membership. Once I looked at the cars. I saw several I was interested in. I didn't know until after going online to bid you needed a business license. If you don't have one your choices are limited.

I am always happy to purchase a vehicle from the Helena Copart yard. The whole staff there are friendly and knowledgeable. They have always been willing to help out with special requests at their location. Look forward to my next visit!

We want to recognize the excellence customer service brought by Thomas the Manager at Copart Helena. This humble guy will go the extra mile to help the customers as well having proud to serve his job. We wish that copart will recognize this Manager !, we buy nationwide thru Copart and not all managers are as helpful as this one ! Thank you Thomas !

These people have everything under control, Terri and drew in the office, Blane in the yard works his a$$ off keeping things organized. Although I think that copart in general is a great place the only issues I see is there are way too many fees! I understand most of them but why so many fees? This is a LARGE corporation and do large volumes of sales! No need for so many!My 2 cents

I have never had a problem with Copart Helena. But never do business with Copart Billings. Billings puts gas in carburetors so they can say it runs and drives even if the fuel pump or filter are bad. Deceptive practices from Billings but not from Helena.

Nice ladies in the office easy to talk to, they work with you through any situation, just be patient and explain the situation to work with you. Don't be a jerk.

Had some iffy experiences here. Some things are posted as running and driving and dont come out that way. Went in and started a car pulled it forward and backwards bid and won went to go pick it up and it wouldn't move from its spot after that. Also the service people are very impolite.

I'm only giving one star because I have to. I would give none if it were possible. I went to copart to retrieve personal items from a totaled car and it had been cleaned out. They claim to have no knowledge of the items, but they were the only ones with access. I have no direct evidence, but all signs point to them stealing my things from my totaled car. I wouldn't recommend copart to anybody. Buncha crooks!

they are great to deal with my complaints are the fees on heavy trucks are too high and I don't understand the gate fee when I am taking care of the loading myself
