Very professional and efficient. I had my truck back in no time. The work done was exceptional. Looks better than new. They handled all of the insurance correspondence and took care of everything.

Carstar Summit Collision did a great job repairing by vehicle after accident in December. Parts are hard to get so took longer than expected, but looks and drives great. The paint job matches good. Thanks Steve and crew.

This was some of the most incompetent work on a vehicle I have ever seen. So I came here after I tipped my 2004 Jeep Liberty over because the insurance said that they "had the best reviews from Car Star." I dropped the car off about a week before Christmas (I go to college in missoula and was coming home for break). They initially told me my car would be done on the 10th of January due to the holidays. I called them multiple times to see if everything was going well only to get back to Helena to hear it would be an additional week until it would be done. A week later I asked my parents to pick it up the car and when they did they called saying all of the plastic pieces and other plastic parts that were ripped off looked terrible and they brought it back in. Apparently they bought new pieces and "mistakenly put on the old broken parts," throwing away the newly shipped ones. The alignment was off, the door handle was still broke, the pieces were the broken parts, and the 4 wheel drive light was now broken. So they told Summit Collision that this was unacceptable and to fix it. Two weeks later they say that they had it fixed again and my family brought the car back home as I was visiting for the weekend. I went to change the oil in the car as it was overdue and noticed that everything was still wrong. The front grill was broken, the drivers front mud flare was broke because they misdrilled it and let it hang, there wasn't a mud flare on the other side, the blinker light was loose along with most of the other replaced pieces. Oh and I forgot to mention they LOST THE CAR when they brought it to the dealership to work on a part they couldn't fix. To top it all off when I was rolling it out of the garage I noticed that I was missing my front license plate, which of course is still at their shop.All in all if you want to lose your car for over a month to have it given back to you basically as broken as you sent it in this is the place for you.

A few years ago I brought my car here for some trim and molding work. I was quoted by the manager one price, then after the work was done and when I had to pay, the price was nearly 3x the quote. The desk attendant said because they had 3 staff members working on my car to get it done faster, they were charging me 3x labor hours because they had three people working on my car. Wow, not what I expected. I was able to talk them down to a price closer to the original quote. I don't know if management or staff changed since then, but I still wanted to share my experience.Service: Body & Trim

I recently needed a new windshield in my truck and decided to go with Summit Collision, as they have worked on my vehicle in the past and their prices were fair. Unfortunately, my opinion has changed after getting my truck back. As soon as I got it back I noticed the inside was dusty filled with particles and my floor mats were covered in mud (see picture) and then I noticed greasy hand prints all over my headliner and a SLICE in my headliner. To make matters worse, I decided that night to wash my truck and noticed the black glue they use to set the windshield in all over my nerf bar and the inside of my truck (see picture) and also a slice in my visor.It went from Steve was ordering a new headliner and willing to make me whole to getting the run around for 2 weeks and being told HIS COMPANY does not have to REPLACE it but FIX IT. Meaning he wasn't going to pay for a new headliner only REPAIR IT. I could have taken this to court, but more effort and time and stress. Steve did cut me a check for the amount to REPAIR it and accommodate my vehicle needs while it was being fixed. I don't feel he was sincere about the damage that was done to my vehicle.

Steve and company replaced every panel on the drivers side of my truck. They took the time needed to do it right. The whole staff was first rate and seemed like a family. My car was recently in a hit and run and after calling my insurance company I brought to to CARSTAR. They were very friendly and worked everything out with my insurance company so I didn t even end up having to do a thing. On top of that they have kept me in the loop with how things are progressing and how long the repairs are going to take. I am very impressed with their customer service.*update*I just got my car back and you can t even tell that it had any previous damage. Excellent work!Service: Body & Trim

I used Carstar Summit Collision for body work related to an accident. Steve, the owner, was very professional, polite, and quick with providing me with an estimate for the work my vehicle needed. Not only did he do an awesome job with repairs and body work, but my vehicle work was completed a day earlier than promised. I would highly recommend Summit Collision for any of your car needs. After my vehicle was damaged from an accident, my insurance agent recommended CARSTAR. I was a bit skeptical being I hadn t heard much about them but I read their reviews and decided to give them a try. I am SO GLAD that I did!! They did a great job fixing my taillight and the dent in the back hatch door! They finished earlier than anticipated, I had my vehicle back by the end of the week. They were also great about communicating and keeping me informed about where they were in the process of the repair. I sure hope I never have to worry about needing another car repair shop but if by chance I do, I know where I ll be going!!

These folks are seriously the best for any body work on your vehicle! Jen at the front desk is so amazing to work with. She constantly keeps you updated with where your vehicle is at with the repairs. The owner Steve is always a treat to talk with; he has the perfect amount of sarcasm and so much knowledge! Summit was amazing as far as trying to salvage the front bumper on our family s car after our dear 16y/o ran it into the ditch! The staff at Summit Collision was very helpful, and wonderful to work with! Very good customer service. When I stopped in to get an estimate, the parts were ordered the same day and fixed within a few days! The staff was very informative and walked me through what was wrong with my truck, and what was all involved in correcting the problems. I would recommend Summit Collision to anyone!

After a collision with a deer in July 2017, north of Wolf Creek, MT , our van was taken to Summit Collision Center in Helena for repairs. They worked above and beyond what was required of them to have our van completed before the rental vehicle was due. I was so impressed every time I called from Alberta (our vacation destination) with the friendliness and willingness to help from the staff there. They did an excellent job with repairs and our van runs and works well again. I would recommend them to anyone. We had no recommendation for repairs and just chose them. They were a good choice to make our vacation more pleasant after a bad experience.

I had a horrible experience with this company. I was in an accident and took my truck to them on the directive of the other person's insurance company. They kept my truck even after they were told to bring it back to my home. After calling several times I found out that they had already told the auction place that they could have my truck and that I needed to release it. They spoke to me like I was stupid regarding the work that needed to be done. They gave a super low estimate even though the second estimate I got from somewhere else was almost twice the amount. They wanted me to pay a tow fee, which was the insurance companies responsibility. I was finally able to get the truck away from them. They were rude and uncooperative. I would NOT recommend them to anyone.
