The woman who is in charge of calling veterans for VERA is extremely rude andunprofessional. She told me and I quote "the only thing I see on his claim is the amount of inappropriate times you guys call". She was very rude and people like her are the reason veterans have no faith in the VA.

These VA regional office keeps having me retake the same hearing test every 30 days for my claim and then tell me me too much time has past so I have to redo it. A waste of everyone's time

Awesome, I have had 20 surgeries and the last one was at Fort Harrison Hospital, it was far better the rest in the civilian sector. I spent five days in ICU after having my leg amputated due to botched civilian doctors and these guys took care of me wonderfully. I had a combat nurse that spent two tours in Afghanistan at two different FOB's and he's still in the reserves, he was way better than any nurse that I've ever had before. My other nurse was a former police officer and he was also fantastic, tough as nails too I would guess. Sadly due to problems with the VA the head surgeon of the hospital who was my surgeon has left but I am sure there are others there that do just as well. The people at this hospital care. Thanks.

The only reason to call the VA is if your having a good day and want to change it or if you want to be put on hold and told your call is very important.
