This was a highlight on our trip, it's well worth the stop. The grounds are beautiful, they were harvesting potatoes in the field with plow horses when we arrived. They encourage visitors to walk around, they have beautiful grounds for eating and sitting outside or indoors. Swings for kiddos, leather/knitting shop, cheese cave and tunnel into the greenhouse with hydroponics, tons of local farm fresh foods and meats, the coffee was excellent, cute handmade gift shop, we also bought some fresh ground bread flour made right there! We could've easily spent all day here, lunch was excellent, staff was friendly, they offer camping spots for rvs so we'll definitely be back. Do yourself a favor though and check this place out!Parking: We easily got our 35 ft fifthwheel parked and turned aroundKid-friendliness: Super kid friendly, tons of room to run and play outside

Wow wow wow! You must take the short detour to come and check this place out.Such a cool and unique place to visit for all ages.We had a bagel sandwich and a coffee and both were way better than we have had anywhere in some time.We will be stopping here often on our travels.

Very good place. We stopped for lunch and ended up spending over an hour walking the grounds and visiting the other shops. Extremely friendly and polite people. They are a strong Christian group that does not push their beliefs on you at all. If you're curious they direct you to their website period. I felt it refreshing on this day and age. Then again you're in Montana. They literally deconstructed a water mill from West Virginia and brought it to Montana and reconstructed it. The other buildings are reclaimed as well. They also are a member of Harvest Host and they have Air BNB silos and cabins for rent. They sell local products and their own cheese and meats. BTW they have a cheese cave.

Well worth the drive to/stop between Bozeman and Billings. The dinners are delightful. But if you don t have reservations, a quick coffee/sandwich stop and a walk around is nothing short of perfectly pleasant.Kid-friendliness: Tons for kids to explore. Lots of games, playground, hikes

I look forward to trying the dinner service at some point, but for today, we just came for lunch. I don't recommend the lunch. Seemed pretty pricey for a panini that anybody could make at home with a George Foreman grill. The shakes, however, were very good. I recommend stopping by for one. We enjoyed touring the grounds. I really liked the leather shop. I spent close to $300 there. Great moccasins, ear muffs, hats, etc.Even though it is located just off the interstate, the exit is not obvious. You must drive through Grey Cliff and then go under the interstate to get there. Don't let that discourage you. If you have been driving for a while and need to stretch your legs, this is a fun spot. The kids will like it too. I look forward to returning to try the farm to table dinner.

Beautiful little place. Would be a lovely spot for a wedding or a family reunion. I got a little wooden car for my daughter and some bread pudding. Definitely worth a stop any time you come by!

A working farm to table destination with historic buildings and focus on teaching old traditions and past way of life. Very friendly owners and staff who take the time to share history. Great food. We stayed in an 1870 settlers cabin. No TV but lots of time to reconnect, learn and do some "front porch sittin". Newer accommodations also available. Debbie and Matt were especially great. Thank You

We were planning to stop for the night at this Harvest Host spot, but ran into some electrical issues and had to pack up and find a spot with power. Too bad!We were so looking forward to spending the night here, dining and checking out the mill. In just the couple hours we were there my family loved petting the horses that roamed right up to our door, enjoyed the peaceful and beautiful grounds and the views are amazing! The owner was very helpful, and understood our need to move, but even offered options in the area! Very helpful and will be making plans to stay here next time through town. Highly recommend!

This spot was an amazing find. In search of a quick bite, we stopped in here and enjoyed our food while taking in the great view and sunlight that filled the restaurant. There are two levels for dining, beautifully decorated and very cozy. There's a gift shop area across from where you order that offers some really cute and unique items. I ordered the chai tea latte and avocado toast, which I asked them to top with tomatoes and red onion. They were happy to do so, and it tasted amazing. Everything was incredibly fresh. If you are passing through Greycliff, I highly recommend stopping here.

We enjoyed a special Farm to Table Dinner tonight at Greycliff Mill. The food was spectacular! So good! Our group loved everything! Raspberry Tea, the BBQ Chicken. Dessert was Raspberry and White Chocolate Bread Pudding with Homemade Ice Cream. Their staff was friendly, polite and super efficient! We highly recommend them for a special event! We look forward to coming back the next time we visit Montana! See you on TV!

Worth the stop to check this place out. We stayed here overnight as part of Harvest Host. A working ranch with a lot of extras. The grounds are incredable and all the work and love that has gone into this place is amazing.Lots of farm animals and a roaming herd of sheep that came right up to our camper .The coffee shop is a working grist mill that was imported from New York state and rebuilt on the property. The coffee and pastries were to die for delicious . The outdoor areas and grounds are incredible and a work in progress.Amazing place that we will visit again and again when in the area. The only bummer for us was the road noise as it is right next to the interstate. Bring your earplugs for an overnighter!

Absolutely phenomenal coffee shop, gift store and bagel bar. There iced caramel latte is exquisite.I had the cream cheese bagel for breakfast and the turkey bagel for lunch. Exceptionally scrumptious. Their Boston cream sodas are extremely good as well.Beautiful atmosphere. This place is a restored 1700s hand hewn timber frame barn with a working gristmil humming inside.Beautiful grounds as well. Will definitely be coming back.

This is a very cute, fun place. It's right off the highway but you must plan to exit accordingly or you'll miss it. Winter hours close at 3.... We just missed coffee service time but the owners allowed us to come in and look around. The very old building (an antique water powered gristmill) has quite a long history. It is completely hand-huen (can't recall exactly when...1700's -ish) and was recently moved from back east to MT. It functions as a coffeehouse, snacks, store, market with some nice arts and crafts for sale. On the former ranch property they also have a cheese cave and greenhouse one may tour, plus more. There is a heard of bison on the east end of the property.

I was there in September and had a wonderful day! We had lunch there and the food was great. It was very interesting looking at the mill ,I had seen this barn on TV being taking down and shipped to Montana . The grounds with the pond and the cliffs in the back ground are beautiful. What a happy day we had.Parking: There are many places to park. We had no problems with parking.

We stopped here because they are part of the "Harvest Host" program that allows campers to "boondock" overnight for no charge (boondock means no hookups)We stopped in the store/mill to give them a little business and found a few great gourmet items to take with us on our trip. They have a great selection of locally produced items - both here at the mill as well as some from a nearby dairy. We just happened to stumble upon the place on a day when one of their farm-to-table dinners was occuring. We love such events having been in the business ourselves. Though it was officially sold-out, the nice lady who was working with us called the manager and finagled a couple of seats for us! (We think it was Elisha, but not 100% certain.)It was a great dinner! WAY more good than we could possibly eat at one sitting. Seems the case for others as well as to-go containers were common. (I believe we made about three meals out of that steak! Had to be at least 14 ounces!) We would definitely recommend the store/cafe - and especially the dinners! A great treat for a special event or just when you really want to treat yourself and a friends or family! An added bonus for us was that later in the evening, we were treated to an impromptu "rodeo". Our camper was parked near a riding ring and the kids were out exercising their horses and giving their friends rides. We just sat on the rail and watched the fun. Beautiful scenery surrounded us - mountains, sky, sunset - we almost had a thunderstorm, but not quite. It was a great experience all around. Thanks Greycliff Mill!

A welcome respite from the tackiness of wall drug. The entire complex is tasteful, engaging, and one of the best stops we made during our trip.Everyone we spoke to was very friendly. The food was great, and the market adjacent had great homemade cheese, although we couldn't buy any due to the duration of our trip.
