Did an oil change in my superduty back in September. I m from out of town. Today I changed my oil and found they had severely overtightened the oil filter and the oil pan plug.I had to use an impact wrench to remove the plug and the oil filter was so bad that I had to resort to punching a screwdriver through it several times to get it off.Such basic stuff- it has always mystified me how people can t do this simple procedure correctly.

I had called ahead because I'm travelling across the country with a 12x6 uhaul trailer. I don't expect all places to be able to accommodate my situation. The gentleman on the phone was quite nice and said this would be the best location in town on account of the larger parking lot and they would be able to help me reverse out of the garage if needed.I showed up within 15 minutes of my call and the counter person was uninterested in helping me out when I explained the trailer situation. I informed him that I had called ahead and was given the OK. He stated that he didn't want to get in trouble for servicing a vehicle with a trailer.That's fine, I'll take my business elsewhere. Regrettable. The phone person was great but the in-person service was abhorrently bad. Stay away.

I had a great experience here! The team was very knowledgeable and helpful. They worked quickly. They highlighted 4 potential preventative maintenance issues and were transparent about pricing.Oscar was great. 10/10 recommend!

The service and staff were amazing for my oil change today. Friendly, fast, and competent. Asked before doing anything to vehicle, answered all questions politely, and communicated everything. Will continue to take all vehicles there.

It's okay to get an oil change, some information about the vehicle brought in was not entered in correctly. Mileage is grossly over-reported, 300k+ over, may mess up carfax. Seems like due to wrong mileage entered, only offered one oil kind which was pricey.

Great fast accurate services. Had one fleet van down that needed new battery and while waiting for office approval my fleet van needed oil change he had both services done in 45 minutes and we were off to work.

I just want to say a huge thank you to these guys who put our safety as their number one priority. I was told that while they were changing my oil my front end sway bars were loose. I took it in to Point S where I get my tires and they did a front end inspection and both were broke at the connector. I could have taken a corner or curve to quickly and rolled my truck. So thank you guys once again you made sure I had excellent service and am now going to be safe driving.Service: Oil change

I choose Valvoline because I don t have to leave my vehicle and the staff are incredibly professional and efficient. Convenience and good service are a win/win and with these guys you get it! Highly recommend!

I use Valvoline here in Arnold Missouri. I was in Great Falls on vacation. Stopped for an oil change, they did not disappoint. I would hands down use them again if in Montana.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

TLDR: Horrible service, poorly trained employees, and they have no issue lying to customers. Go elsewhere!!When I arrived, I was told that it would be a 10 to 20 minute wait and the guy who checked me in (didn't see a name, but he had a lip piercing) assured me that they could do a deisel pickup.After about 5 minutes they told me they needed to do a bunch of service on a vehicle and it was now going to be 30 to 40 minutes.After 30 minutes (35 minute total wait time) I finally get up there for an oil change and it turns out they don't have the oil needed. They tried to feed me some line that Chevy had just started doing this with my model year (2022) which was a blatant lie. Chevy has been doing this since the 2020 model year. They also didn't see a problem with wasting my time after they assured me they could take care of me 35 minutes earlier..

Recommend this quick stop for an oil change. Fast, super respectful and only place I have been too that the workers explained every step. Military discount as well. So if your maintenance light is on, stop by and let them take care of that light for you. They also didn't try to sell me brand new air filters. My license plate lights were out and made sure I knew that and they would take car of it if needed and told me the cost right up front. Going back for sure thanks.

On Nov 22 2022, I went in for a regular oil change, brought my own oil and new oil filter WITH new plug....cause you know, bimmers are finicky. Well, Im happy to say they finally finished the oil change TODAY (04 Jan 2023)...it only took a total of 3 oil changes, 2 oil plugs, 3 tow truck tows, 1 rental for 6 days, 24 days of personal leave taken, one "forgot to screw the skid plate back on" damaged skid plate, one stripped oil pan resulting in Valvoline buying me a new one, one district manager, one regional manager, and one Montana Valvoline Enterprise Manager....and then getting my car back and it looks like it's been mudding off some back roads in Augusta, Montana. 0/10 would recommend, especially with lack of communication and having no idea where my car was for about three weeks.Hugh s Diesel & Auto Repair actually fixed my car and replaced my oil pan. 10/10 would recommend, especially when we had the cold snap and all the diesel trucks gelled up and their engines froze.Service: Oil change

If I could give 0 stars I would. Took my vehicle in for an oil change, and left with a broken oil filler tube on my 2003 Ford Explorer. Had to replace the whole valve cover, which was a $500 repair out of my own pocket. Submitted a claim to Valvoline and it took them over a month to respond, to which they stated that they had reviewed the information and stood with their initial decision of denial. An initial decision of denial that was never communicated by phone or email. Will take my 5 years of loyal business elsewhere. Don't waste your money at any Valvoline store.

April 26, 2023...I explicitly told them to "pull plug and drain" the oil, DON'T evacuate the oil. Told them (3) times. They evacuated "sucked" oil out thru dipstick tube anyway. It even states it in the paper work, you just lost a 3+ year customer. Do not ignore a customer's requests. Train your people to do the job "RIGHT".Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

The staff was friendly. Quick service. Good price. However, when I left from getting my oil changed I made it about 50 yards away and then my car started sputtering and wouldn't go, eventually my car died. I was able to start it again and go back to the shop for them to look at it. They had no explanation of what could have caused it.

My recent oil Chg here, they added WRONG COOLANT resulting in Gelling & FRYING MY ENGINE $12,975.00 My Dodge is at LITHIA & they have given me written evidence that wrong coolant during my last oil Chg is the cause of my destroyed engine. I am now carless for almost 2 wks, I don t have $13k to pay for your ERROR! My bf has called VALVOLINE SEVERAL TIMES, incl. this morning & has made 3 Personal visits & YOU GUYS ARE GHOSTING US & have NOT RETURNED OUR CALLS. I POSTED IN ASK GREAT FALLS MONTANA GRP, asking for Recommendations for a Plaintiff Attorney against your NEGLIGENCE & AVOIDANCE. THIS HAS CAUSED ME SUCH HIGH UNDUE STRESS & you can t even Return my calls!??? Serviced my 2003 Ford F 350. Needed an air filter and they had one in stock and replaced it. Apologized for the price but I knew they were charging a fair price as it is very expensive, and they installed it quickly. It is a tight squeeze in a crowded engine area. We be back, quick work, fair price.

Just got my transmission fluid changed with Shawnee and they did an outstanding job. Very informative friendly workers who will answer whatever questions you have. Was in and out in 20 minutes. Will be taking my car to Valvoline Instant Oil Change from now on!!

Asked to be sure my oil filter would be changed as well as the oil. Heard the reply that they would take a look at it and if it was crummy they would change it. Mentioned I wanted it changed. Shortly after the man came back out and said he would change my air filter. He must have misheard me. Fine.They change the oil and oil filter and now my tires are unbalanced which they were not prior to the oil change.I don't think the oil plugs are in anyway connected to the tires but I'm not a certified mechanic and neither are they. Granted the only reason I took it in was because i was having a hard time with my own oil filter. But each time i changed my own oil the tires were fine afterword so...Do not take your car in here.

Brought both of my cars in for oil changes and had a great experience. Staff was very friendly and helpful and got me in and out quickly. Will be back.
