I am very grateful to Hugh for answering the phone after hours, coming to my location, and changing a wheel seal for a very reasonable price! And no, I m not one of his buddies leaving a good review. He did come recommended to me by a local, but I had never met him until tonight. Thanks for the quick repair, and good conversation!

Hugh is fantastic! My son and I were driving my dump truck and trailer back home to Alaska when both belts shredded, tensioner broke, and we lost all my coolant down the highway. We were stranded late at night. We couldn t find anybody open or willing to come out and help except Hugh. Not only did he help when nobody else could, but he went above and beyond to expedite our repair and get us back on the road and at an amazingly great price. His work was quick, very reasonably priced, and his skills and quality of work were excellent. We couldn t be more grateful. If we had to break down, it couldn t have been in a better place. Stopped in Great Falls on my way to Alaska and wanted to get my Transit looked at just to make sure it was in good shape for the long drive. They checked all the important stuff and even gave me a loaner car to use while they were working on my van. They didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need and their customer service was excellent. I'll definitely come back if I ever need work done in this area.

I had Hugh's do an engine swap for me this last spring in 2023.The work done has been fantastic.. Hugh's also communicated with me after the work had been done to see if there was any issues.. I was happy to inform them my truck runs like a new truck now.

I have had both vehicles in for service/repair on numerous occasions and have always been treated well and the staff always knowledgeable and prompt. My service today for lube,oil and filter and 4x4 auto hub complaints was addressed promptly and after replacing some vacum hose Jake had it working like new again. Great service begins at the front desk and continues when you drive away. I highly recommend Hugh's and Staff for all your car and truck needs.Services: Auto battery replacement, Electrical, Oil change

We got stuck here on a vacation and needed to get home as soon as possible. Everyone there was amazing and nice. Just wonderful people. They helped get our parts faster and just over all very professional. 22/10 Fantastic! Had an emergency. A tougher problem. Hugh's was fast and thorough. Very fair pricing. If I become local Hugh's would be taking care of all my cars. (Hmm "when..." It is possible.) My highest reccommendation.

I had an issue with my truck, and had it towed to Hugh's Diesel & auto repair. They were able to get me in the next day to find out what was wrong, and then under a week from getting the parts on a major repair, had me up and going. They are very easy to work with, on time, honest, and do not hide anything. Since i was traveling right after the repair, he checked up on me throughout my drive to make sure everything was running smoothly. I will 100% bring my truck back to him in the future. On our honeymoon in our RV from Park City UT we traveled through Yellowstone and into Great Falls MT. We noticed a funny noise coming from our rear passenger brake. Before heading out on our drive to Glacier National Park we called Hugh s and they told us to head right over. They diagnosed the problem, ordered the part and had us back on the road in no time without costing us a bunch. The guys were so friendly and knowledgeable.Thank you Hugh s. My roommate took his van in to have a coil pack changed out and a new grommet put in on the exhaust. Surely you can get a day out of it if you milk your customer. Did I mention that it's a handicapped van with a hydronic ramp so he could get in and out? (He's wheelchair bound when he's not sleeping. Hughes had it a full month and had done nothing to the van. We went their on a couple occasions to check progress but he was either in the bathroom or at the hospital and we were told he'd call him. He never did. So today we went to retrieve the van after hours of trying to get a hold of them, they finally told us to come get it (no work was ever done). We found the gate closed and locked and the van outside. THE VAN WOULDNT GO INTO GEAR. We had to take off the engine cover and manually put it in gear. Never had a problem before. This is my friend's disabled van, he takes very good care of it and has it serviced regularly. All this is totally unacceptable. Very unprofessional. My friend is greatly disappointed. If they did not have the time they should have told him. They knew he is dependant on this speialized van to make his numerouse medical appoitments (which he had to miss several). And when he couldn't wait any longer and went to get it back, it's in worse shape than when he took it in. it's like they hid and wouldnt look him in the eyes. Shameful. VERY SHAMEFUL. I don't understand at all.

Very responsive and considerate. Hugh and staff go above and beyond to help in a timely manner. They are professional, honest, and educated. My parts were purchased and arrived quickly. My husband and I are from Michigan and while driving through Great Falls our breaks went out. Every auto store was closed so we couldn't get parts and every other company made an excuse not to help us. Hugh was an hour away when we called but still managed to do everything he could to help us out. Highly recommend giving them a call!Service: BrakesService: Brakes

2006 f350 6.0These guys took care my of re axle leak. Replaced my seals and reset my pinion. Very knowledgeable and professional with a reasonable price. I can't co.plain. I've called them for other issues and they helped me. I'd recommend them to anyone in the area they're honest people.

He had my vehicles for almost a year and ordered wrong parts and couldn't fix my duramax. He was very good when he first opened and moved to fleet companies and ordered the wrong parts for me and now I'm chasing the money he owes me. Would not recommend any one giving him money til the job was done also. He's just mad because he was supposed to delete my egr and charged me for the parts and then accused me of theft and these Google reviews are all his buddies and I have a woman who's range rover was there for a while and gave her the run around also. Don't bring your vehicle to this guy and his googley eyed weirdos

Had a feeling this would be the place to go and I was right. Went there at 8 am and to my surprise when I woke up from a nap they had my car fixed up same day at around 12. I'm sure not everyone will have issues that will get fixed as quickly but I'd say my experience is a testament to how hard working and good at their jobs they are. I will surely be back if I have any other issues.

Took my 2005 durmax diesel for some standard maintenance which was accomplished in a competent and professional manner. While performing the transmission service they saw that I had a bad right front wheel bearing, that I wasn't aware of, and replaced it for half of the price that I paid to a local dealership for previously replacing the left front wheel bearing. I highly recommend this shop for vehicle maintenance and repair. I intend to use it for all of my future maintenance and repair work. I am a very happy customer!

These guys were awesome. I have a 3500 Dodge 5.9 Cummins - every diesel shop in town told me I needed new injectors because my truck was vibrating ($3000 fix). Hugh was the only one who actually looked at other possibilities. Found out it was the motor mounts - he quoted me $300 - but when he got it in the shop it was an easy fix, and he didn't charge me. I would've been none the wiser had he charged me the $300 he originally quoted.

Man this guy made my stressful day to a happy day. My truck had a major coolent leak I couldn t find where it was. Found him on google called him he showed up with his mobile truck in 15 minutes. Found the problem went and got me a part and fixed it and I was on my way. Fastest and the most affordable. Saved me from getting towed. Would recommend 10/10Service: Engine repair

Hugh was able to schedule me in a timely manner, diagnosed the problem and explained the whole problem to me and his solution. He got it done quickly and reasonably priced. He even went the extra mile and looked into the vacuum system to find that it was plumbed incorrectly and fixed it for me.

I d leave 0 stars if possible. Guy is so unprofessional, gives completion dates then just says he s busy. Had my truck towed back home after 2 months and 3 days of sitting there and getting the run around from Hugh. If you want your vehicle back anytime soon, this is not the place to take it.
