I dropped off my Toyota 2jz block on a Monday for it to be hot tanked and cleaned and they told me it would be ready Wednesday morning for sure so I came back to town Wednesday and they told me that it would be ready by the end of the day but when I called again they said that they won t have it done until the next day so I had to stay the night in town waiting for my block and when I came to get it they brought the engine over on a dolly picked it up off of there and dragged the front face of the block across the concrete and when I looked at it I could see surface rust all across the block. I m pretty dissatisfied with the work they put in and will not be a returning customer.Service: Engine repair

I had a cylinder head resurface and valve job done. I picked up the head at the counter and the freshly machined surface was scuffed in three places along the edge like it had been dropped on the floor, or as they said, "Probably bumped into something in the front of the store." I was told it was ok (which, it was not directly around the coolant or combustion sealing areas) and to file it down if I wanted. I would expect greater care be taken when the point of having a critical surface machined is to ensure it is uniform and smooth.Also, the service documentation simply read "Valve Job, Mill Head" I asked the representative at the counter for more details, "How much was milled off?" and wanted an idea of what clearances were checked, etc. After he went and found the milling dimension, he seemed like he was getting pissed off at subsequent questions. I have spent several years documenting maintenance on multi-million dollar equipment, and I cannot believe that it is acceptable even for a $100+ professional service to be documented as if it were instead a 5 minute job.Finally, I had left both the used and new set of valves, and I did not receive my used valves back. The manager stated that it was standard practice that they discard the used parts, unless maybe they were "performance parts or something." Yes, the exhaust valves were burned and not reusable, but the intake valves were decent and could probably have been used in another head after being ground. I still own those valves; I would have appreciated the courtesy of asking before discarding my parts.This shop's attention to detail and overall professionalism has left me disappointed.

I really didnt want to write this, I was hoping they would make it right but other customers deserve to know before they waist money. I brought my duramax block to them for machine work on an engine that was being built to hold over 1000 hp. The first time it was assembled it made around 500 and lasted less then 10k miles before I had to pull it back out because I couldn't keep oil in it. We found a few issues related to machine work so I took it back thinking it would be warranty and they charged me again, costing me another 3000. I paid all but 600 bucks, took the engine, reinstalled it and immediately had problems again. Called and told them about it, they asked me to pull the engine and bring it back for the third time. 2 chances is enough when its 30 hours of labor. Now they are reporting me to debt collection. Absolutely worthless business. Take your stuff somewhere else if you want it done right.

Called regarding an engine rebuild after seeing on there website they do import and domestic. After I said the word Subaru the guy instantly started saying "NO, he will never work on another Subaru again, he had too much trouble with them!" That says everything right there, false advertisement and mechanics that give up! Reword your advertising!

Everything about this experience was 5 star. I would recomend these guys to everyone. They are knowledgeable, quick to get my car done.

I went to auto Mach shop today and dropped off a head for my Dodge Stratus they said they would have it done tomorrow so we will see if so we will be doing alot of business together

I broke down with a driveshaft problem, these guys helped me out fast and way reasonably. I definitely recommend them.

Worst counter / Parts Advisors in the industry . They should retire as it seems they are unhappy with their jobs and have no clue about customer service!!!!!!!
