Really nice old fashion style restaurant. We were able to be seated right away. The server was nice and helpful with describing the option. Shakes were great and highly recommended. All food items were really good and portions were of decent size. The only thing I found disappointing was the desert - Chocolate Cake. It was ok tasting at best, but the price was rather high for such a small piece and that turned me off. Got an Expresso coffee on the way out from the coffee bar. Tasted good however was not as hot as I would have expected.

An awesome classic kinda place with great ice cream, floats, and milkshakes. Everyone was happy with their choices and the huckleberry ice cream was top notch!Parking: Lots of street parking and only marginally difficult to find a spot.Kid-friendliness: As kid-friendly as it gets.Wheelchair accessibility: Totally accessible

When doing research for a trip to Montana / Yellowstone , I saw comments several times about the Fabulous Huckleberry milkshakes at Yesterdays Soda Fountain in Ennis. So we made a point to stop and have lunch while we were in Ennis . Lunch was ok , but the huckleberry shakes are absolutely as good as they say they are , you're really going to miss out if you're passing through Ennis and don't stop for one !!

Cute little place that is attached to a shop with a pharmacy. Girlfriend and I got omelets. It's a plain item so weren't expecting too much but they were actually pretty good. Also, got the fry bread and it was amazing! Service was kind of slow, but it was a chill atmosphere so not too big of a worry.

We went in to have lunch, when we sat down the table needed to be wiped down again because of the sticky stuff still on the table. When my husband asked the waitress to wipe it down she threw the menus on the floor, grab a rag and wiped down the middle of the table and slapped the menus down on the table. My husband had to wipe down the sticky area with a wet napkin. She walked away and did not come back for quite a while. When she came back for our order I placed my order and she asked me for the side I wanted, and I told her I could eat potatoes, and she said meanly that they had applesauce. The food wasn't very good. The Artichoke Chicken salad didn't have any artichokes in it and the chicken was awful. Overall it was one of the worst experiences we have had when traveling around Montana. Will not go back, and probably should have walked out after being treated so rudely.

Yesterday's Soda FountainYesterday's Soda Fountain is a small town soda fountain and restaurant attached to an old pharmacy in a town off the beaten path. It's a local spot, more than it is a tourist destination. The atmosphere is classic soda fountain, with checkered floors, red leather booths, and a vintage soda fountain counter. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and they seem to know everyone by name. The menu is full of classic soda fountain fare, like burgers, shakes, and malts. They also have a wide variety of fountain drinks, including phosphates, floats, and sundaes.I ordered a cheeseburger and a root beer float. The cheeseburger was cooked perfectly, and the root beer float was delicious. The ice cream was creamy, and the root beer was perfectly carbonated.Overall, I had a great experience at Yesterday's Soda Fountain. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was charming, and the service was excellent. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a classic soda fountain experience.A great place to go for a classic soda fountain experience. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is charming, and the service is excellent. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a taste of the past.Rating: 4 out of 5 stars

We always stop here when we go through town. The service is the best, so friendly and welcoming. The milkshakes are awesome and the food is good. Just 'ole fashion, nothing fancy goodness. They have specials, like the lasagna soup, that are SO good. Great for comfort food!Kid-friendliness: Plenty for kids to eat and kids are treated well.

Perfect spot for a hardy breakfast. They have all you could want and the staff was working their tails off to get everybody fed.

Stopped in on our way to Helena. Vanilla root beer was incredible, cream soda had real cream, and pies were homemade. Kids all loved their breakfast offerings. Corned beef hash was so so.If you need a place for breakfast on a scenic drive don't miss this place.Kid friendly, had a corner of toddler toys to play with while waiting for food.

Average food at reasonable prices. Our order got mixed up but they were happy to replace it. The soup was okay but the grilled cheese didn't taste good.

Busy place so it took a little time to get our food, but the service was great and the food was delicious. We kept it simple by having biscuits and gravy and 2 eggs over easy.

We live in Circle MT and had to drive to Bozeman for a medical procedure. We took a detour on the way home to visit Virginia City and stopped in Ennis to get something to eat. This little cafe was absolutely phenomenal. The restaurant was clean and bright. The staff was incredibly welcoming and gave us excellent service. And when the food came out let me tell you this is one of the best meals me and my husband have had in a long time. My husband ordered the biscuits and gravy with hash browns and a side of eggs. The gravy was top notch delicious. The biscuits look like they were homemade. The hash browns were grilled to absolute perfection. I ordered a half of a ham and cheese sandwich and a cup of the soup of the day. The soup of the day was a green chili with chicken. This soup was so good I had to meet the cook. The flavor was just mouth watering. There was a ton of chicken in it and fresh vegetables. This was probably the best soup I've ever gotten at a restaurant and I eat a lot of soup at restaurants. We want to take our kids with us out there so they can see West Yellowstone and I cannot wait to take them to this restaurant just so that I can eat there again. Prices were also very good. They kept the coffee flowing. Would 100% recommend this restaurant to absolutely anyone. We also found the signs in the bathrooms hilarious

Nice old-fashioned diner with 1950s charm. It s located inside a pharmacy somehow, which is kind of strange (but no problem whatsoever). The food was great as expected, the staff was friendly. Make sure to definitely order a huckleberry milkshake!

Located in the old part of downtown this Pharmacy has a restaurant and I had breakfast and it was delicious Just Like Home Style it also has a home style old fashioned soda jerk Fountain where you can get shakes or malts. The prices were very reasonable at the restaurant. It's easy to park you park on the main street. Very clean inside and very clean outside. The staff are very very nice. There might be a slight weight because of shortage of staff.

1.5 HOURS FOR COLD FOOD AND MEDIOCRE SERVICE. I understand sometimes places can get busy or be understaffed but I think good communication can go a long way. After waiting over an hour I asked my sever for a water refill and the status of my food. I think good severs check in with their tables to see if they need refills and apologize for the long wait rather than customers having to flag down a server for status. The staff were arguing and no one seemed to be helping and apparently even the cook left. Unseasoned cold burger and burnt hash browns. I won't be coming back for breakfast here.

I went there for lunch and had a great experience. The waitress was very helpful and served us with a smile. The food tasted great and I enjoyed it. Huckleberry shakes were a bit too sweet for my taste but my friends loved it.The atmosphere was very relaxed and felt authentic. I'd go there again if I'm in the locality.

Understaffed...not prepared for a busy morning. 45 min wait, then another 30 for our food. Wouldn t be a complete drag if the food was exceptional, but I can get the same quality at Denny s (yikes). Staff was very nice. If you have 2hrs to kill, go for it. Personally, I d rather spend 2hrs with a sandwich standing in a river waiving a stick.
