While traveling in the area, we developed problems with the transfer switch on our 40 foot class A. Bonnie understood we were in a bind and was able to get us in that morning. Luckily, Don had a transfer switch in his shop, but it was a bit smaller physically than our old one. It took quite a bit longer 2 get all the wiring into the new one, but he did a great job. He showed me some of the great toys he had in his shop and we had an enjoyable visit while he worked. He has a very professional facility and seemed quite knowledgeable about RVs. It was a pleasure dealing with Bonnie and Don and I highly recommend them if you need service in the area.

We were referred to Don & Bonnie for a problem with our furnace, while staying in the Tetons. I called Bonnie and she set me up for an appt. to stop in a few days later.Don fixed the problem (a mud wasp nest in our burner) within a few hours. The best part of the experience was meeting Don & Bonnie. They gave us the tour of their shop / home and made us feel extremely welcome. We loved talking to them about their lives & travels. They are the type of people that have made our travels some of the best times of our lives. I hope we make it back to Ennis to see them again!A+

Bonnie and Don were more than happy to help us. We had a water heater issue that we could not solve. One phone call and we were on our way to Ennis on a holiday weekend no less. They were kind to our 3 young kids we had with us. Don was so helpful and willing to teach us so much. Super thankful to them and have been telling all our camping friends about Bonnie and Don. Thank you! !!

While traveling through West Yellowstone, our 40 diesel pusher coach developed a problem with the air ride suspension. The front had no air and rode like a truck without springs. We found Mobile RV Tech listed online as being closes by. Don diagnosed the problem right away, and we were able to get it into the shop the next day. Don has working pit in the floor enabling him to get underneath the coach. (without that it would have been deadly to work on) Don was able to make the repair quickly as it only needed an adjustment to the linkage of a ride height control valve. once this was completed, we asked Don to check out our power inverter which hadn't worked since we bought this RV only a few months earlier. Don found the inverter had been eliminated and replaced with only a battery charger. Don stocked new inverters at his huge shop, and was able to replace our unit the same day. We were impressed with Don's expertise and helping us understand exactly what was wrong and how it should be fixed. (No smoke & mirrors) we had our repairs done the same day. I can easily recommend Mobile RV Tech to fix whatever your needs may be.

Unfortunately this man came to look at my RV for some water line questions and possible electrical. He spent less than 20 minutes with me and went on a tangent about the roof/ which was completely incorrect. He got frustrated when we were inside trying to have a conversation about the issues I experienced and complained about the wind ?!(literally... I know...Ennis is always windy)He charged me $125 for his time and left saying I needed to bring it to his shop as it would be so much work and very costly I since have met 2 other women who had similar experiences with him.I called a local plumber who is awesome. He diagnosed it and other items within minutes- and correctly and efficiently repaired everything right at camping location within 1/2 an hour.I never write bad reviews, but this needed to be addressed and frankly, my money should have been returned.Which I will be requesting, if they haven t already left for the winter season back to their home state.Thank you for reading.Service: Electrical

I'd like to let all RV owners in or passing through southwest Montana that you can have repairs made to your RV without concern for shoddy, patched-up fixes. Don at Mobile RV Tech brings a certainty of knowledgeable, professional work that repairs or updates your RV to your expectations. I live in my RV and when I decided that I wanted new flooring I talked to Don about the logistics of installing new flooring while my dog and I remained in the RV. Don told me to just come and park my rig in his shop where I had access to power, water and sewer. Don and Bonnie even loaned me their cargo truck to store all of my possessions until the job was over. The job was completed in a timely manner and turned out better than my expectations even though there are some difficult transitions when installing new flooring in a RV.I'm completely happy with the job Don did and very happy that I made two new friends in Bonnie and Don.

Don and Bonnie are the BEST. After arriving in Ennis MT. We were setting up our 36 foot motor home in Madison Valley Campground when I deployed the rear bedroom slide it opened about 5 inches and stopped, motor ran but slide would not move in or out. A Google search indicated Mobile RV Tech was actually located in Ennis, small world, I called and Bonnie answered the phone and after explaining my situation to her she said she would talk to Don and call me back. She called back about 30 minutes later and asked how long we were in Ennis and I said 4 days, she said Don could look at it tomorrow, our 2nd day in Ennis and if I could drive it to their shop it would save a service call. I left it there for the day and Bonnie called me about 3pm and said it was finished . I said we were in Yellowstone Park and would get back as soon as possible. She said no hurry, the Coach was sitting outside the shop, very safe area, and I could pick it up anytime and contact Don the next morning and he would go over the repairs. Next day Don showed me photos of the failed part and the reengineering he had to do to fix the problem and explained the cost in great detail, VERY REASONABLE FOR ALL THE WORK PERFORMED. Back at the campground I discovered another problem that I knew about but didn't know how bad it had become, it actually became a safety issue, called Bonnie and she said she would work us in somehow before we had to leave, SHE DID.They are the nicest couple and really care about their customers. I would definitely and proudly recommend them to anyone needing service.ONE IMPORTANT NOTE: There address is incorrect in Google! Correct address is; 12 Recycle Way, Ennis, MT 59729.

We have been acquainted with Don and Bonnie Moran for many years. When my husband and I decided to purchase a motor home and go full time, we called on Don and Bonnie for their help and advice. We have owned various RVs in the past but never a motor home, and felt we needed lots of advice for such a major decision. With Don's vast knowledge of all things mechanical and specifically RV technical, his advice was invaluable and helped us see what to look for and what to avoid in our search. Don and Bonnie even spent a couple of their vacation days taking us to see various motor homes and pointing out the plus and minus features of each.We have had to call on Don's RV technical knowledge since purchasing our motor home to solve technical issues. Don is the guy to call if you need answers.

I have called upon Mobile RV Tech Don Moran three times over the last 5 or 6 years. Recently I have been concerned about the slide out on my motor home. I thought it looked like the support structure was out of line or damaged. I expected it would require significant work and cost to repair. This month my wife and I modified our travel plans in order to schedule an appointment with Mobile RV Tech in Ennis, Montana. Don listened carefully as I explained my concern. He then examined my slide s entire structure in detail and showed me how each component is installed, how they relate to one another, and explained in easy to understand layman s language how the entire mechanism works. With that understanding I was able to see what was causing my slide to appear as it did. Within a little over an hour Don had evaluated my problem, educated me on the details of slide out construction and operation, and completed a few relatively uncomplicated adjustments. Not only was my problem fixed but following Don s show and tell explanations I am confident I know what he did, why he did it, and how his actions fixed what I thought was a major issue. This most recent experience has been consistent with each of my previous calls to Don Moran. Last year when our washer/dryer failed it was again Don Moran to the rescue. After quickly pointing out the burned out relay he asked if I wanted to install the relay myself, thus saving the cost of his time. When I said I was confident I knew how to do it he helped me order the correct part. In all he spent over an hour with me but refused to accept payment beyond his quite reasonable call out fee.I appreciate working with someone as totally knowledgeable and unquestionably honest as Don Moran. For me it is equally important to be able to work directly with the person doing the work, particularly one so willing to spend time showing and explaining how my equipment is designed. I don t care how talented is the tech at your favorite large service center you are unlikely to get beyond the front desk service writer to meet that tech and certainly won t be able to be on site working and leaning.

I had a quirky issue with a slide out lock and Don & Bonnie were professional, knowledgable, skilled, and fair. I would definitely trust any work done and rest easy in using Mobile RV Tech. They also seem like super people and have a fascinating facility.

Had the misfortune of a blown Hydraulic line on our diesel pusher. The line was HWH brand specific and had to be their components and special tool to install. In calling all over Montana trying to find such, we had the great luck to happen on to Mobile RV Tech in Ennis MT. If you are in need of any RV repairs, It is our opinion that you can do no better. Don is truly an RV savant

My Husband Johnny and I had just started a 7,000 mile cross country trip and our first stop over was in Bozeman, Montana. Settling in at Bear Canyon Campground in our 2014 Palomino Backpack Truck Camper we came across an issue with our Refer. There was no available Technician in the Bozeman area and to have it brought in for service at the local RV Dealer was not an option because they were booked out by one month. This was a very trying situation because of a medical condition that I have requires the Refer as my life line for certain foods. I was given a number to Mobile RV Tech and spoke with Bonnie. After a couple of hours getting the Manufacturers approval for warranty Don was on his way out making a 3 hour round trip late in the day to ensure that we were taken care of. Don was able to diagnose the issue very quickly and with parts on hand get us up and running again! Our gratitude to both Bonnie and Don for making this a "NO STRESS" situation for us! Many many thanks!!! Laura Trubey 10/8/2014

It's one thing to pay him $100/hr for his drive time, Then he charges me $550 to replace a perfectly fine LPG detector. The real kicker is when he charges me another $300 to come back and fix it again because he didn't do it right in the first place. $850 for a $70 part. Any other business would stand behind their work. Not this guy. Avoid if possible!

Nothing can replace experience and common sense when working on RVs. This is the place to get all of that and more! One of the most honest RV repair shops in the country.

This is by far the largest visitor center we have visited this year. Everything was open and it didn't close until 6pm. The rangers were very helpful.
