Stayed in cabin number six and it was a cute nestled away little cabin. Totally exceeded my expectations, very clean and very spacious and the aesthetic is lovely. The owners are amazing people and very very helpful. If you are looking to go to glacier and want a good stay close to many glaciers side this is a great stay, exceptional value.I will absolutely be staying here again, I fell in love with this spot truly.Rooms: Exceptionally clean, great little soaps and great smelling lotion!Nearby activities: Glacier national park east side is fairly close. About an hour but anything closer you re looking at 350-420 a night as where this cabin was fairly affordable.Safety: Felt very very safe.

Close to the East Glacier entrance and quick access to Two Medicine. Shower was great, very cozy, and clean. Beware, No stove top or cooktop. There is a microwave and coffee maker, that s it. No tv. For a family of 4, this was somewhat disappointing. The area is a dead zone, no Wi-fi and no network service.Yes, you can get network thru your phone, but its very spotty. Network bandwidth at this location is low.Rooms: Two queen bedsNearby activities: There is not much to do here.

I stayed here recently and loved it. The room was clean and fully furnished, a much better value than similarly priced places in town. Because it was a little outside the main section of town and a bit off the road, it was quieter and more peaceful. My only regret is not staying there all three nights I was in Glacier.Because I unfortunately had some work to complete and submit, I was a little concerned at first about no wi-fi, but that isn't the owner's fault, and she was correct that the signal was good enough to hotspot my phone. I didn't have to go to the Glacier Park Lodge and use the wi-fi there.

Really great place for access to Two Medicine area of Glacier. We stayed in the Cowboy Cabin in the Big Red Barn. Cozy and comfortable space for the three of us. Diane greeted us and gave us great advice for places to eat and things to see. Communications were superb from booking right up through departure. It was very clean and had many amenities to help us enjoy our stay. If I had one wish for the place it would be to have wifi service...because cell service is non-existent in the area....at least for us. We found that we had to go over to Glacier Park Lodge and sit in their lobby area (after buying a coffee) to download emails and get the latest weather information. But we managed and were really glad we decided to stay at the Travelers Rest Lodge.

This place is superb! We are a family of four and the cabin we stayed in was perfect. Not only was it beautifully-appointed and clean, it was comfortable, spacious and secure. The location was ideal and provided easy access to the park entrance. The setting was serene and peaceful and just what we needed to catch up on rest and much-desired family time without the interference of electronics. The hosts were very welcoming and gracious. I highly recommend!

The hosts/owners were also friendly and helpful. Did not get pict of kitchen area but included mini fridge, microwave, a lovely table and two chairs, lovely cabinets with some plates, flatware, paper towels, dish rag and towel and sink and dish rack. Simply perfect and all we needed.

The Travelers Rest Lodge has been the highlight of my summer. My cabin is so very clean, it sparkles. The bed us every bit as comfortable as my own at home. The cabin is fully equipped, right down to the ice tray filled in the refrigerator. A peaceful, lovely location, flowers on the covered porch, ceiling fan, full bath, soap & shampoo. I will return. Thank you, thank you Bob and Diane for a truly awesome experience.

My husband and I stayed here for three nights after arriving on the train. The location is very close to the Amtrak station, East Glacier Park Village, and GNP s Two Medicine entrance. The cabin was super cute and comfortable. We loved the comfy bed and cozy fireplace! It s the perfect place to come home to after a day of hiking and exploring. The owners were both very sweet and accommodating. No TV or WIFI, but you won t need it! Enjoy the beautiful scenery from these lovely cabins. :)

My husband and I took a two week trip in September that required moving every couple days so we could travel from East Glacier to the Grand Tetons. Fortunately, we found Travelers Rest Lodge. When we arrived, Bob immediately greeted us. Even though we were early, Bob let us check in. I'm guessing he could tell we were tired. Our cabin was excellent! It was exceptionally clean and very well equipped. The bed was extremely comfortable especially after a long day of hiking. We even had a chance to enjoy the fireplace! We asked Bob for any recommendations for dinner, and he immediately suggested The Firebrand Restaurant. Any other time I would have driven past the restaurant, but since Bob suggested it, we decided to have dinner there. What a pleasant surprise. We had an exceptional dinner and great service. I would highly recommend Travelers Rest Lodge. If our travels take us back to East Glacier, we'll definitely book Travelers Rest Lodge again.

Stayed here for 2 nights while we were seeing Glacier National Park. In looking at the other lodging options here, this was definitely on the top end of the list. This town is in real need of be rejuvenated. It's a bit run down and disappointing. Our room was comfortable, the bedding was well used but clean. No radio, TV or WiFi and cell phone signal was weak. Check in was very friendly. If you're staying in this area, this should be highly considered.

Bob and Diane were great hosts and keep everything pristine in this western style log cabins lodge. The cabin was comfortable, good shower, small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. The coffee included was much better than the usual bitter coffee provided in hotel rooms. There is a teepee on site, and a nice red barn that Bob and his 2 sons had to break into 3 parts to move it to the propertyWe followed suggestions for things to do or visit, and were glad we did.

Really cute little cabins. High ceilings. Very clean. No A/C, but have a ceiling fan. Nice place away from it all, but close to eateries in East Glacier. Only complaint would be price. I typically pay less for the holiday inn with bfast included and more comfortable beds. However, this place has SO much character and is really cute.

What an outstanding place to hang out. Just got back from a trip to MT to include an overnight @ the Travelers' Rest. We stayed in cabin number 4 which was very quite & nicely "decked" out. The management was thoughtful & gracious. We plan on returning to the area next season & will definitely extend our visit. Highly recommend for folks who enjoy "disconnecting" from the everyday hotels.

Very cozy, clean, and private. Well built gas fire heated cabins. Simply, I could live here. Medium sized kitchen, high ceilings, and a comfy bed. It was a nice surprise to pull in to see how private the cabins are. Very friendly locally owned lodge.

Unfortunately, I did not get to stay here due to the closing of Glacier National Park's eastern entrances this year with the COVID-19 pandemic in effect. However, I could not have asked for better customer service. Diane was extremely helpful in booking our rooms, and even provided some very helpful info on conditions at the park when I made my cancellation. If I ever travel to Glacier again, Travelers Rest Lodge will be my stay if choice.

Incredible hospitality with nice rooms. We stayed above the barn and our teens on the side of the barn. We loved the accommodations and the proximity to East Glacier. More room and comfort we were told by others who stayed at the Lodge.

Excellent lodge, extremly clean and up to date w/ comfortable beds and daily cleaning staff. Great host/owners with a tremendous amount of information about the area as they were raised there. Would definitely reserve again when traveling in the area.

Let's see. The Owners couldn't have been nicer. The cabin was beautiful and clean. The location was right next to Two Medicine at East Glacier. A couple miles from Fire Brands Restaurant. Awesome
