Trucker here. It's hard to find places like this these days especially ones accessible to trucks. Most of what we get at truck stops is fast food. This is a small little place with absolutely DELICIOUS homemade food. Everyone is as friendly as can be I walked in and was greeted with a huge smile and tons of energy and warmth. For a small place in the middle of nowhere it gets BUSY!! For good reason. Great people and stellar food I can see why this place would be popular with locals. I had a roast chicken and it was absolutely done to perfection. And the cook even puts the effort in to make it with great presentation! Best dish I've had on the road in a long time. If you are rollin by here, do not hesistate to try it out. You will not regret it. I will now make this a regular stop of mine when I'm rolling through the area!

A group of us came here during our hunting trip and were unaware of the reservation list as we were first time guests. We were told by our waitress we would be last in a very rude, unprofessional manner (I understand reservations take precedence but the manner in which this was communicated made us feel very unwelcome). No refreshments were offered in the meantime so we decided this was not a place we would dine. I will never return here or recommend after this first time guest experience.

Such a wonderful surprise. We have traveled across Montana and have our favorite spots. We now have a new one The Fort at 49 .We are a big rig towing a car trailer and the field with campsites is perfect for just swinging in and parking. Hook ups was simple.Dinner was a delightful adventure of tastes. Their passion for farm-to-table really shows. We will be back again.

We lucked out and stumbled across The Fort at 49 on our way home from Yellowstone. We stayed at the campground for one night. It was full hookups for a reasonable price and the views were great, with a gorgeous sunset. Dinner, though, was the best part by far! The food was absolutely delicious and the owners provide fantastic hospitality, great people. In our party, we had mahi, shrimp, pasta, a burger, chicken fried steak, and a steak salad. Everything was top notch. Dessert was incredible as well, key lime blackberry cobbler and a brownie sundae. Do yourself a favor and eat here!

Fantastic service and awesome food! We stayed in the RV campground for one night and planned to have dinner at the restaurant. We started with 2 very generous adult beverages and ordered the baby back ribs and chicken fried steak (the menu changes each evening). The portions were huge and SO tasty!I'm super glad we chose this spot for an overnight stay. Becky is super friendly and helpful. Dave works his butt off getting the meals out as quick as possible.Highly recommend The Fort at 49!

Ate here while visiting family nearby. Great food great atmosphere. Had the chicken fried steak, it was awesome. Wife had fried chicken coated in frosted flakes with honey Sriracha sauce. Our family eats there several times a week. Highly recommend.

I've eaten at many restaurants attached to rv parks. It's often mediocre but whatever it's cool to park the rig then walk 3 minutes for overcooked steak. This place is nothing like that. Everything is made with love and great attention to detail. I want to eat here every day!

We had read previous reviews and heard how good the food was. Well . Becky and Dave did not disappoint! This was one of the best meals we have eaten out in months! The prime rib was tender/juicy; the sauteed fresh seasonal veggies were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Highly recommend stopping here if you have the opportunity! And don t forget the warm brownie w/ice cream.

We stopped here on our way home from Billings, and it was a fantastic surprise! Even without a sign, we still had heard about this place thru word of mouth. What a great experience, a lovely warm day with a beautiful view out across the farm fields and the sweet sounds of birds, with larks and such. The meals were excellent, fresh and delicious and the owners were very friendly and engaging.

This place is awesome. Big parking lot but lots of potholes but it's quiet when you need to do a 10!!

What a wonderful surprise. Excellent food, excellent staff. Most delicious chicken wrap I've ever had, honestly. So flavorful! Ate half there, the other half for dinner. My husband had the brisket sandwich and raved about it. Love this place!

Ok . My 5 stars are for the food, will get to RV resort in a moment.Read the reviews and just needed a place for 1 night, reviews spoke highly of the culinary cuisine. They did not fall short . A very impressive menu that would be suitable for a 5 star restaurant. We chose the Braised Pork Shank with mashed potatoes and delectable mixed vegetable medley, my husband chose the Smoked Brisket Pablano .. wholly moley, unbelievably delicious and huge portions. We would certainly travel the distance for another visit. (Well . A bit far from Canada but you get the sincerity).RV park, served the purpose, has essential hookups and we were only staying for the night so not a big deal, if not for the restaurant wouldn t be worth the stop but I think the owners are very aware of the catch LOVED IT!!

Blink and you will miss it. Convenient for travelers along I94 in Montana. Full hook ups, level campground if just a few sites. Reasonable rate of $35 per night. Unexpected gem of a restaurant with top notch fare. Very popular with locals.

This restaurant is amazing! Absolutely loved the crossover between modern and hometown feeling. Philly was fresh and melted in my mouth! The fries were also super fresh and well made. The chicken a la king is the most perfect homemade pot pie ever! Perfect for a date.

10 Stars! Appetizer- Risotto Poppers, I had to dissect each one to figure out what made them so amazing. Exceptional.Prime rib-perfect temperature and seasoning was spot on. Black and Blue ribeye again perfect temp and excellent seasoning.Sides- mashed potatoes that needed no butter or gravy. You know they're good when you don't have to add anything!Veggies- crisp and yummy again seasoned very well.French fries- Crispy, seasoned goodnessDessert- banana rum bread pudding with Wilcox vanilla ice cream, rich but not overly sweet. The chef's love and appreciation for food was in every bite. You won't be disappointed!

Who would have thought that you could get almost gourmet dishes at a tiny restaurant at a highway exit where there is nothing around. We were staying at their small campground on our way to Idaho and ate there 2x.Dinner we ordered the strip steak that was sliced on top of red potatoes, creamed corn and lots of other amazing flavors. The table next to us ordered the pork shank (huge) on top of hunan? Noodles. Homemade cobbler for desert.Lunch we ordered the burgers because other reviews said not to miss it. Not disappointed. No idea how he makes them but delicious. It s actually two very thin cheeseburgers stacked up. Yum.

Parking for trucks. Fantastic food, excellent, friendly service. I will be back when I head this way. They saved me looking for a place to park so my hours don't go into violation. Bathroom only in restaurant. Try their food. Thanks!
