stayed in the hostel 5 one night after camping a few nights outside glacier , this hostel is dang near a 5 star hotel they had propane BBQs (that include a stove top burner) the bathroom is a shower stall and toilet and outstandingly clean, the rooms were cute and comfortable, and had a mini fridge. my dogs were happy to be out of the cold tent! and the property was beautiful, i wish i was staying longer and will be back for sure!

Wonderful stay! Beautiful view and close drive to Glacier! It worked out perfect for us. It was just my husband and I and it worked out fine. There were other people next door but everyone minded their own business so it was okay. We stayed in the Hostels sharing restroom wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Great price and location.Tip: In hostel, sharing restroom was a bit challenging for me. I would just make sure my husband was aware when I went. (stand by the door)

The Glacier Homestead was the perfect lodging for a long weekend with friends in Glacier National Park. We stayed in the one-bedroom barn apartment, and it was so clean and beautifully done that it felt brand new. The apartment was well supplied with bathroom toiletries and kitchen essentials. The host was communicative and prompt. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for a high quality place to stay, just 20 minutes outside the national park.

We rented the Barn Apartment for 4 nights. This was perfect for our family of 4. Plenty of space for the all of us and our items we needed inside with us. The kitchen was a huge plus so we could make our own meals instead of eating out every day. The apartment was very clean, the air conditioning worked like a charm (it was quite warm when we were in Montana), and it had a full sized washer and dryer to use. The location was quiet and it is very close to Glacier National Park West Entrance. We wanted to get an early start one morning on our exploring of the park and it took us only 7 minutes from the rental to the West Entrance. We hope to come back again to explore Glacier more and would hope to rent this apartment again!Rooms: One bedroom with a queen bed and one bunk bed.

Stayed in the hostel building with shared bathrooms. Very comfortable beds and very clean facilities. Pleasantly surprised and had a wonderful time staying here for 3 nights. Reasonable price too and easy to find -- people kept to themselves and bathrooms were free most of the time. We didn't really talk to anyone as the check in is contactless. The coffee machine in the room didn't work unfortunately. But hey I didn't expect a coffee machine to start with.Located 15 mins from west glacier entrance. Some food options around. Need a car.

I honestly cannot recommend the Glacier Homestead enough. Tony & Stephanie were nothing short of amazing - their hospitality is like no other, they were so accommodating and genuine. We had the best time hosting our wedding party at the homestead & would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay here in the future. We are already looking to book our anniversary trip here next year! The home was gorgeous and perfect for our family gathering, can t wait to go back

Stephanie and Tony are wonderful human beings! I called late at night looking for a room last minute to help my nieces have a safe place to sleep on their camping trip because of an approaching storm. They helped me make the payment over the phone and then stayed on the phone with my nieces until they were able to find and get into their room.My nieces said, It was very nice and very cute! It had bunk beds and that they got some good and restful sleep!! Thank you again for all of your help Tony and Stephanie! If my husband and I ever come by that way, we will surely try to stay at Glacier Homestead first.

Such a beautiful place to stay with a stunning view of the mountains! The house was immaculate, the bathrooms were spotless and the hot tub was an added bonus for relaxing. There s also a Ropes Challenge Course right down the street suitable for all ages! The town of Whitefish is also a quick drive away. The town is packed with amazing restaurants, bars and shops. Highly recommend Glacier Homestead, it was an unforgettable trip!

I just got married at Glacier Homestead, and can t say enough amazing things about our experience. The property is absolutely beautiful, with pastures, mountains in the distance, and horses on the property. It was so incredible to have my friends and family be able to stay in the cabins on site for the wedding, so that we could have as much time together as possible. The staff at the homestead is incredible.. they work so hard to make sure that every guest feels at home, and went above and beyond to make sure our wedding went smoothly. We truly can t thank them enough for all they did for us, and for providing a location that helped our guests feel welcomed, experience the beauty of Montana, and have so much fun!Whether you re wanting a beautiful, close place to stay near Glacier National Park, or want to get married at a beautiful location, I highly recommend Glacier Homestead!

Glacier Homestead was absolutely incredible. If you want to experience the Crown of the Continent and the best landscapes Montana has to offer, then this is the place for you. We went to beautiful Glacier National Park multiple times which is right down the street. Going-to-the-Sun-Road and Logan Pass might be one of the most scenic areas in the country. All of Glacier Homestead properties are immaculate and so clean. Between hiking Avalanche Lake and White Water Rafting we got to relax in the Hot Tub surrounded by amazing landscapes or even just relax on the wrap around porch that faces Teakettle Mountain and Columbia Falls. They have horses on the homestead, an adventure ropes course and axe throwing around the corner, and Boat rentals are not far on Flat Head Lake. We spent a day tubing surrounded by mountains! There s a ton of top tier restaurants to visit in White Fish as well. I would highly recommend staying at Glacier Homestead. I can t wait to go back and if you have enough time make sure you hit the Rodeo! God Bless America.CG

We had the pleasure of staying in the brand new 4 bedroom cabin. All we can say is wow! There is a private master suite with its own balcony to take in the mountain views. the main floor has an open floor plan with 2 bedrooms that share a bathroom. The lower level has 4 bunk beds and with its own sitting space, tv and fire place not to mention a walkout patio with hot tub! Everything was well maintained and 1st floor laundry was an added bonus. The staff and ownership were extremely friendly and accommodating! The location was perfect that it was only 5 miles from Glacier national park and were plenty of activities in the area from Hiking, Going to the Sun Road, Glacier Highline, Glacier Raft Company, Big Sky water park and about 15 minutes to Columbia Falls. White Fish is about a 30min drive and was totally worth checking out as well. We couldn't recommend a better place to stay when visiting!

This went above my expectations. Beautiful landscape, beautiful horses and the friendliest dog named, Abe. We stayed for two days and rooms are clean and the two bathrooms are immaculate. Easy to reserve and pay, keyless entry was great because you didn t have to worry about misplacing your keys. The staff is friendly and made you feel at home. I will be back and bring my girls next time.

We stayed at the motel room for one night. Clean and tidy bedroom, bed is comfortable however there is definitely sound isolation issues. We got woken up several times during the night by the noise of people talking on the phone in other bedrooms and outside of ours, as well as by the heavy rain. Shared bathroom was clean and spacious. The way to find the hostel wasn t easy if you don t have access to the check in instructions in your phone.

If I could give this place higher than a 5 star, I would. If you have the opportunity to rent one of these places don't even hesitate. The second you pull up its peaceful. The property is so beautiful, the people running the place are personable and so kind! The home was immaculate condition. I own a cleaning company in town and couldn't believe how clean it was. They do their job with pride. So much space for the kids to run and play as well!Highly recommend glacier homestead and will be back as much as we can to rent again!

We are a family of four and stayed at Glacier Homestead (Barn Loft) in July of 2022. This is the perfect place if you're looking for a place with the outdoors feel but still just a few minutes from town. We visited GNP while there and the drive was easy and quick into the park. Everyone at the GH was friendly and attentive from beginning to end. Our loft had everything we needed, just bring your clothes and toothbrush and you're set to go. Definitely looking to visit GNP Park and staying here again. Book it, you won't regret it.

Our stay was very average. The hostel rooms are overpriced for what you get. The hostels aren t terrible in theory. But the other people we had to share the bathroom space with were gross. Leaving wet towels on the counters and leaving the toilet unflushed. We ended up getting too warm in our room and tried to adjust the temperature, but apparently there is no AC, only heat. So we attempted to use the box fan in the room, but it was broken and wouldn t turn on. Had to settle for opening the window but there wasn t much breeze, and we had to listen to someone s noisy dog barking 24/7. I d rather pay a bit more money for an entire room with air conditioning, tv, and bathroom.

Our family throughly enjoyed staying a week at the new 4 bedroom cabin. Gorgeous views and very peaceful. The cabin is three levels with the bottom level having an outdoor hot tub! Very convenient to West Glacier entrance.

Great place to stay! We were in the 2-bedroom cabin and thoroughly enjoyed the horses and mule horses on the property not to mention the beautiful view of the mountains and a visit one night in the area by 8-10 elk! Highly recommend for a quiet & rejuvenating stay. We were there May 30-31, 2022.
