Needed a new airbag for my trailer on Sunday morning and called this shop. Customer service was amazing from start to finish! I was given an estimate for repairs over the phone and technician did a great job on my trailer in a timely manner.I would definitely recommend this business!Greatly appreciate you getting me back on the road!

Great people. Very honest and hard-working. I called about a damaged tire on a semi-trailer. The lady working the phones was a real angel. She informed me about her inventory and did not try to upsell anything. The technician who arrived was very kind and extremely transparent. Very honest people; I have been in trucking for 10 years and wish we had more people like those at Payne Heavy Equipment & Truck Repair.

They over charged us by $600 and stole an aluminum wheel that we requested to leave with us. The technician used my card and ran off. We could have gotten better service out of Billings.

Called to have work done. Nobody called me to tell me anything. I had to call them back. Just to find they wouldn't be out Saturday evening to fix me as told. I had to call them to find this out. Was told they would call me to give me a time. That they would be here this morning. Again crickets... so I called them to find out there 1 truck had an exhaust issue. Ok so ya don't have more then 1 truck for road calls. Then was told there were couple trucks in front of me. Asked if I needed to call another. Yes I think ya should. There communication sucks. One company I will be sure not to waste my time nor call to. Very very disappointing..

we had a break down near columbus during weekend. These guys help my truck to get fixed in professional manner. They bought us food too when ever we needed. i highly recommend his service whoever have any mechanical issue while passing through Montana. its worth it to call this company will make sure your truck keep running without charging you lot of money.

They don't work on cars per say but the receptionist gave, and gives all she can to help remedy your situation. She's diligent and goes way above and beyond what anyone would expect to help anyone in a time of dire need. I highly recommend calling them for anything you may need. They might not be able to fix your car but they'll help point you in the right direction, and you can take that to the bank!!!

Very quick to show up seems to know what he s talking about but when I asked him to please stop talking to me like I was stupid he flipped out and started calling me names and yelling at me called me almost every dirt word you can think of and got right in my face he even spat in my face very disrespectful had a very hot temper and then left my truck torn apart.

Broken radiator hose on Sunday with temperatures dipping in the minus category & the mechanic showed up as soon as possible, fixed the problem professionally & Nicole sent our bill via email getting everyone to work in a timely manner. The cost was more than reasonable & the service outstanding.

After a short phone call I found out they had the tire size I needed for my RV. Came in about an hour. Got me taken care of and on my way.Very reasonable rates.

These people are absolutely amazing and kind. They helped me in my time of need when I was bringing my horse home after he passed away. I suffered a blow out and had no good spare. They came out and put a new tire on my trailer in a timely manner. They will always have my recommendation for any roadside work involving tires. Thank you so much for helping me and my boy get home.

Our truck has frozen breaks. I called on Sunday and guys was going to help us right away. It was easy fix and driver was able to fix it on his own. I called and canceled and they don t charge us anything. Thank you so much!!!!

Great company! I blew a recap on the back axle of a step deck trailer, which really did a number to the lights as well.The service tech got me fixed up in good time, meeting my expectations. I was very happy to have found someone that not only replaced my tire, but also got my lights and wiring working well again.

We were so impressed with the level of service we received from Brian and Nicole. While in route with our 44 ft. fifth wheel, we stopped at a rest area and while doing the routine walk around the rig, noticed that the rear wheel was askew - wheel bearing failure! Got on Google for a nearby repair service, and called Payne Heavy Equipment & Truck Repair. Call was answered immediately - by a human being! After listening to our issue, Brian gave us a window for when he'd arrive (45 min to an hour). While waiting, we received a call from Nicole that there was an accident on the interstate and Brian was delayed (communication!!). Once he arrived, Brian was knowledgeable and efficient, and because there were parts that we needed, Nicole was at the office making calls on our behalf to all the nearby parts stores so that we could get what we needed to get back on the road. Their fees were reasonable, and they made payment an easy process. While we don't want to HAVE to use their services again :), I can only hope that if we ever have mechanical issues again, that we are near Columbus, MT so we can call them!! Thank you Brian and Nicole - we appreciate you so much!

I am extremely impressed with the staff I spoke with from the office to the mechanic. Had a work truck down all day on I-90 outside of Columbus. The mechanic drove to our truck to look at the problem then later after we got towed he found a way to get our work truck back on the road do our worker could make it home. Professional, honest, and just what you want in a business and in a mechanic. Thank you!!

The Best!!! I called because I was stuck at a rest stop off I-90 with a coolant leak. They are awesome, came roght out and fixed my truck right up and fast too. I will recommend them to everyone!!! Thank you both, you saved me!!!

Brian and Nicole are amazing! Quick response more than fair prices even for road calls! Brian came out to my location in Redlodge had me back on the road in no time. Used them again last week for an electrical issue (little more difficult) and to fix a so-called repair another company in Columbus tried to fix. Definitely recommend to any heavy equipment drivers in the area you won't be dissatisfied. Payne Heavy Equipment will be my go to from now on. Thank you

Brian and Nicole went above and beyond to get me back on the road. They were honest, fair, and extremely caring individuals. It s rare to run across such people (mechanics even!) that put will in the effort for a complete stranger, and build trust in such a short amount of time.I explained the problem, and Brian reviewed my RV, ordered the parts and fixed the problem I had as quickly as he could - then also made a few other checks for me and since I had to get going, he told me exactly what else I should have done when I get to my destination to make sure I stay safe - and how much it should cost!If you re in the area and need a mobile mechanic for your rig (I have a Class C RV) I would highly remind giving them a call to see if they can fit you in!

First of all I'd like to say thank you to Payne heavy equipment and truck repair. The service I received was by far the best ever.The mechanic was a absolute professional no doubt.I would highly recommend them for any type of truck repair. I know, that if i ever break down anywhere near Columbus MT again they will be the first on my list to call.

In very bad weather had a flat and was in a bad location. Called Payne s roadside repair and they showed up very quickly with professional attitude. Office staff even called and gave updates on the arrival time for the repair man. Repair was done and I was rolling again in timely manner. Will definitely use this company again. I wish all road assistance companies operated this way.

Words can't describe how truly grateful we are for Brian's service!My husband made the unfortunate mistake of putting diesel in our gas tank... we were 1.5 home, new to the state so few people to call for help! To make it worse it was late, and the day after the 4th so most places were closed.. Brian came to our rescue at 9:30 pm! He truly saved the day! Payne even called the next day to make sure we made it home!We will forever be grateful

My radiator in my Freightliner cracked during very cold weather on a Saturday west of Billings. I luckily found Payne Heavy Equipment and Truck Repair and found they were responsive and that the repair man would meet me to check the breakdown. He was in the area so we soon met and arranged to attempt the difficult radiator replacement under the grueling cold circumstances. From the time we met to the finish, it was about 9 hours. I was impressed by how the mechanic was able to do all the large and small tasks to make it as if it were done in conditions that weren't arctic and the experience he had was certainly prerequisite because it progressed as an organized repair job at a good pace.
