Very accommodating owners. The site are reasonably spaced for a privately owned campground and have full hookups. There are some seasonal campers but they are well kept. About half of the sites are shaded by trees. Easy access from I-90 with big rig gas station across the interstate. There is some noise from the interstate and nearby trains, but not an issue from inside your camper. Propane is available at the front entrance. IGA is in town and has filtered water dispenser (.59 cent per gallon).

I've spent about a week here and I have really enjoyed it. To start, the owners are extremely friendly and helpful, they have been an absolute pleasure to do business with. The park is well maintained and has everything you would need from an RV park; full hook-ups, showers/bathrooms, laundry room, picnic tables, etc. The majority of the spots are pull-through and easy to get into. The park is close to the local town of Columbus so all necessities are close by. Located between the I90 and open land. I will definitely be coming back.

Pulled in for 1 night, but stayed for 10 because we both had Covid. This lovely park is run by Sandra and Clint, angels in disguise, who made us feel like we were with family. Beautiful small park where the view through our windshield was of rolling hills covered with cattle. Sad to leave. Honestly felt like staying here was a blessing from above. Thank you, Sandra and Clint. You made such a huge difference.

Totally recommend this RV park for friendly and professional customer service. Clean and beautiful location. Danielle and Bear are Awesome folks. Level sites. Full hookups and sewer dump. Reasonably priced. We are very happy we spent the night here. If our travels bring us back to Columbus, we ll be staying here again! In appreciation, Marianne and Ken

I got stuck at this RV park when my husband got pulled away from work while we were on vacation. It was delightful! It had a large a meadow with a few trees for peaceful walks with my dog and well kept RV site, also with a nice shade tree. The women s bath and shower area looked new and very clean. They have a laundry area too. Thanks Mountain range RV Park for being a great place to land.

This park was very nice to stay at for the 3 nights we had reservations for. We wanted to stay another night since we loved the park and wanted to go drive the Beartooth Pass which Bear told us about. They were more than happy to accommodate us for another night even though it was very busy. The park is very well kept up on maintenance and my wife was amazed at how beautiful the womens restroom was. She had to take pictures. Thank you for the amazing stay and we will see you again next year! We will be telling our traveling buddies about you too!Walkability: Great park for walking and beautiful views!

Spent 3 nights here for our daughter's wedding. Really wanted to like it BUT not the case. Location and easy access off I94 are the benefits. The not great part was bathrooms and laundry facility. Describing them as gross and run-down isn't an exaggeration. The grass between sites was unmowed.Would not stay here again nor would I recommend to others.

It seemed like a good RV Park - many good things going for it. The water was yellow and metallic smelling - tasted horrible. They also have a wonderful and huge dog walk area but they allow their long term tenants to use the dog area without picking up after their dogs. With so many dogs in the park, it becomes pretty messy - pretty fast. One morning, I stopped counting after seeing 19 piles. The noise from I90 was also not great... Overall, it was a disappointing experience. To their credit, they were very nice and I did not complain while there so they did not have an opportunity to resolve these issues during our five night stay. I suspect if they spent more time outside and around the park, these problems wouldn't have progressed as far as they have.

Nice RV park. Full hook ups, a little park area with picnic tables and lots of trees with shade, dog park and nice staff. It s a pleasant place for a stay with surrounding mountains and hills. Columbus seems to be a quiet little town. We really enjoyed driving the area. The only draw back is the traffic noise, which can be expected because it s right off the highway.

Stopped at 8:00pm on a Saturday in looking for place to stay after a long day driving. We arrived at the tail end of a pot luck they had and were invited in like we were old friends. The owners and regulars are a great group of people, we are definitely stopping here whenever we are in the area.

Great campsite. Sites are small but doable. Pull thru makes them easier to manage. Close to town but still country feel. Great managers. Friendly and very accommodating. Would def recommend staying there.Stayed here again 7/11/23. Will always stay here when passing through. Great staff and very accommodating. Worth stopping for.

This is a place I d like to stay long-term if we were staying in the area. The view of the mountains was more than the other places I ve been to. The cherry on top is, we were greeted by name and the hospitality that we received made our stay unforgettably comforting. The grounds were very clean, and would go visit there even if we didn t have our little trailer. The staff are great people and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone needing a place to hang their hat.

We stayed at Mountain Range RV Park for the beginning of our visit to Montana. The location was convenient, the gravel spots were level, and the park was well maintained and clean. There s a HUGE grassy area to walk your dogs, and a treed picnic area at the end of the park, which blocks the freeway from view. The Mountain scenery was gorgeous, and there were laundry facilities on site. The New Manager, Bear was great and honored the price we were quoted prior to him taking over Mgmt.(I only gave 4 stars due to gravel sites, otherwise an excellent park, and we ll stay again next year.

We could see this RV park is well maintained with pride! The managers, Bear and Danielle, greeted us with a friendly welcome and helpfulness. The laundry and restroom facilities are clean and the entire park grounds and sites are kept up nice. The RV sites are a good size with grassy areas and picnic tables. We plan to camp here whenever visiting this part of magnificent Montana!

Have stayed here 2x now; 2020 and 2021. Good place to stop by, and take a car to Beartooth Pass. I noticed there are several long timers too; that says something as well. 4 stars only because the dryers in laundromat aren't great & I had to put in extra hours, things were still too wet to even think about air drying. Lighter things, we did air dry. Probably just outdoor vents need cleaning out. Management is very nice.to work with.

Beautiful setting and we hardly heard fwy or train noise. Mostly level gravel sites, specious dog area, showers and laundry if you need them, 50 & 30amp sites w/water & sewer. Very easy on/off I-90 w/gas station at the exit. Mgr was friendly, helpful and had no problem with our late check-in. We would definitely stay again.

Great hosts, about 50 campsites. Pleasant little campground but it's close to I-90 so alot of highway noise that quiets down a little about 9pm or so. Laundromat available.Kinda strange but you have to pay extra to use public bathroom and showers; $10 per day.We stayed here for a week. Somewhat expensive but closest place we could find to Billings. Billings RV parks are way more expensive if you can even find a spot.

Very friendly hostess...we only stay one night as we were travelling to Mount Rushmore. Full hookups and a pull thru for us, although we only hooked up water and electric. Did not spend much time outside as we were arriving late in afternoon, and it was smokey and weather windy. Would stay here again.

My husband and I stopped in to rent a site and asked to see the showers before we rented. Owner said no and started yelling at us to get out if we didn't want to rent. He then ran around from behind the desk, forcing us out the door. He was calling me names. It was a crazy experience. They deserve no stars. Horrible, angry man. STAY AWAY!

The park had fairly large spaces but was too expensive for what was there. We stayed at the beginning of April and it was $38.00 per night. The first day, there wasn't anyone to check in with and no instructions posted, no prices listed, or envelopes to even give money or RV info. We only saw the young fellow running the place once in our three day stay, and that was because we called the emergency number so we could finally figure out the price to stay. There was a very nice large grassy area for the dog to run around and play ball. The place is old and not well kept up. There was trash and insulation from RVs that had wintered there blown all over the entire campground. The campground is right next to the freeway offramp and unless you get a spot behind the trees and other RVs, it is very noisy. There are too many long term RVs staying there and one RV even had horse panels around the entire RV like a fence. That looked very trashy. The trees are mature and there is grass between the spaces. The laundry room was clean but very smokey in spite of the No Smoking signs. Our laundry smelled like smoke after we did it. This place could be a lot better IF the owner tried a little harder.

This place was adequate but nothing more.It was noisy from the highway but we knew that going in by the location. A very dusty place with a few sites with grass. The person that checked us in greeted us with a question 30 or 50 ?We are fairly new RV ers so it took us a minute to register. So not impressed with their customer service. If we are in the area again we will find someplace different.

What!? Clean toilets and showers? They were disgusting, and very in need of an update. How hard would it be to replace a filthy shower curtain? I cannot believe these positive reviews are from people who have actually stayed there. The price is $50. That is more than we have paid for a campground with actual clean bathrooms. Oh yeah, the grass is 2.5 feet tall around the hookups.

Stopped here on our way to Idaho for two nights. Most of the sites are pull thru with full hook-ups. When we stopped in they only had electric back-in, no problems as they have water and dump near by. The sites are close together with shade on many. The shower house and laundry were clean and serviceable, however in need of a facelift. There was a goat that hung around the campground which was ok till it tried to eat my newspaper. Good WIFI, and Verizon service.
