I wanted our stay to work out but it simply did not. We followed all rules and instructions (there s a lot) stopped at all their stop signs, checked -in before proceeding, etc.,. In return, we nowhere near received the same treatment. When we arrived at our site (AFTER checking in), one of the employees/owners came speeding up to us in her side by side and immediately started yelling at us. It was incredibly unprofessional. SHE had made a mistake thinking we hadn t checked in. Even after showing her our receipt you d think she d calm down but she didn t. She continued yelling, yelling about the speed around the campground, how we needed to pick up after ourselves (although I counted six cigarette butt s throughout our camp). She even brought up how we weren t from MT even though we are. We live 100 miles away and we frequent Missoula for concerts. We were excited to have found a spot to stay so we don t have to make a late night trip home. Unfortunately we won t be staying again, it s not worth the absolute rudeness and unprofessionalism of that vile woman. It s their loss of a reliable, repeat customer.

The owner, Kathy, is a wretched, old, grumpy woman . It's definitely time for her to sell this place and move on. All of these 1 star reviews are true. Believe them because she'll do the same to you!

Wife and I came with our dachshund to Montana 0n a whim. We pulled our 35 ft. fithwheel from Washington with no reservations. We happened to see a trailer sign in Turah off of I 90 around 5:30 pm, we took a chance when we arrived, and they were closed. However, they have a post saying after hours pull in and fill out a form, and settle up in the next morning. We were lucky to meet the owner, Kathy, who lives on site and opened up and helped us get settled.Their is a full hookup, camping, restrooms with showers, laundry, and even nice little store witch made for a great time. There are trains running during the night, but it didn't bother us any!Best time ever, We will be coming back for sure!

I wish I could leave more stars! We have three small children and this park was so wonderful to stay at for a few weeks. The park is beautiful and well maintained! It feels more like a close community than an RV park. Everyone is kind and there s I river access across the street and the office has a store for necessities. The sites are also extremely spacious. I hope we get to stay here again!

Me and my boyfriend were making plans to move into a permanent RV spot. The lady was super paranoid thinking everyone is out get her. She was very rude and unprofessional. She acted like we were suspicious because we called in advance for her to meet us and put down the deposit. Who in their right mind acts like that for putting down money in advance. She apparently was having a meth problem up there. Then acted like we were the suspicious ones?! Don't trust the lady who runs it, she'll simply pulll out last minute because of her own paranoia. Don't own a place if you can't handle it

This place was a good deal for the price. It is quiet and out of the way. The staff were pleasant enough to deal with, though the question at check in about number of kids under seven seemed a bit odd. It was kept clean. It could use a little more upkeep - fresh sanding/paint on the picnic tables, replace rotting landscaping timbers, etc.

This is a very cozy rv spot, the area is green and comparatively quiet. The spots are spaced nicely. No problems with water, electric or sewer. There's a nice area for children to play as well as horseshoes and tables that is fenced. Also a nice grassy area with benches and swinging chairs. There's a small store that is well stocked. There's only a couple of down falls in this place. 1. The lady that runs it will yell at you if you don't STOP at the stop sign; which is at a speed bump anyway! As well I witnessed her run after a car yelling that it's a five mile per hour speed limit; the person was hardly going any faster. 2. She has signage that says that your dog must be on a leash and you must pick up after them. Usual. However, she has three small dogs that she allows to run freely and chase after her as she drives around the court in her golf cart. Of course they bark and attack other dogs that are on a leash!! The latter was particularly egregious to folks that camped next to us. 3. Lastly there are people living there full time and have petty hassles about walking on " their" grass. Oh one more thing they water the grass daily so it stays wet and doesn't get mowed at regular intervals.

Our friend made reservations for themselves and us a month in advance. He checked again a week before our arrival. We we arrived the spaces that were originally assigned were taken. Our friends at least has a minimal space to camp with power. We were lucky to squeeze in, but no power or septic. Had we not shown up when we did we would have been out of luck. They need a better system for reservations then the notebook on the desk.

Very unprofessional. I called only to inquire about monthly rates, not to make reservations, and the lady I spoke with immediately asked how many kids I had -not, thanks for checking with us, just so you know we don t allow children, but instead, how many kids do you have? Ma am, you came across like kids are vermin, for crying out loud. A man who was also on the phone then told me the price, but informed me they have no availability. I asked if they would have any in the known future the lady asked what I did for a living. I told her my husband and I are truck drivers and her response was, That doesn t sound stable and I need my rent every month. I don t know what experience she s had with truck drivers, but my husband and I work for an established company on a dedicated route and have no issues with stable income. I would say to the owners or managers of this business: be polite and respectful to strangers. Don t assume everyone is out to take advantage of you with plans to scam you and not pay for services they receive. I would have no problems paying for a rented space at this campground. If you have concerns about someone s ability to pay, that should be addressed during an application process- not being rude to a total stranger on the phone only asking for your prices.

We have stayed at many RV Parks in our travels. We stayed two nights here at Turah. Excellent. True 50 amp service so our lights were very bright. Level, gravel, long pull-through sites. Grass, trees, mountain view and river close by. Very well stocked store (eggs, milk, burritos, beer, wine, candy, beauty supplies, fishing tackle, and a thousand other things). No road noise. Nice fenced playground. Good tap water for drinking. Very friendly owners. Extended stay residents are very quiet and must either be retired or work during the day.

THEY DONT. EVEN DESERVE A STAR! STAY AWAY! My wife called and they were very rude! Asked right away about kids like they are the plague. We don t have any. Asked about long term parking and they said none available. Had the nerve to ask what we did for a living! We are Owner Operator Truck Drivers. The VERY RUDE lady said That s not stable income. We have been making over $100K a year and this person is telling us we are not good enough for her rv park! Don t bother with these rude people looking to judge everyone with a few basic questions. Needs new management with a class on customer service and how to at least pretend to be polite!

We stopped here for the night on a whim and had a great experience! Friendly staff! Huge, free, clean showers and bathrooms. Laundry. Easy to walk the dogs. Couldn't ask for much more! Would stay again.

This park was a pleasant surprise. There was a fenced playground with a covered area and a gazebo, and a separate dog area. The store in the office had a little of everything. We had a long pull through and did not have to unhook the toad. There was plenty of space between the pull through sites. There were some long term campers, but the park is well maintained. They had asphalt driveways and gravel pads. They had screw in sewer connections. Water pressure was great even with a regulator. The utility pole at our site was like new with 50 amps. Cable TV connection did not work. The free WiFi strength was good. The response was excellent. Verizon Wireless was 4 out of 5 bars; ATT wireless 5 out of 5 bars. The landscaping had mowed grass between each site with lots of evergreen trees and flowers. Road noise from I-90 was not noticeable. Noise from the train tracks across I-90 was limited to a low rumble with no horns. We would camp here again.

This park was darling. Quaint and unique. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and gave me a nice spot for the evening. Clean bathrooms with nice showers. Highly recommend for a sweet stop. Also walking distance to a lovely river. They even had great wifi which I had not expected.

I love Kathy and we loved there long term for about a year. It is still 10 minutes from Missoula but far enough to escape to a beautiful little hide out. We loved the river that was next to Turah and you can walk there. Honestly, Kathy is a great person and lovely lady. We loved our #1 spot for long term and would recommend staying because of the people you meet. Most of the people are just as nice as Kathy and she works really hard to try and upkeep the park. There is a great place for BBQing, fire pits, swing set for kids, and a good side yard.

If you like character and a little funk with good facilities then this is the place for you. We enjoyed our stay and will come back. Access to our pull-thru site was very good and was long with enough space between rigs. It was level with good hook-ups. The bathrooms and laundry were very clean. Cable worked well but the internet did not work at all for us. The grounds are very colorful with flowers everywhere. There is a lovely picnic area and also a fenced playground with sheltered picnic area. The store in the office has a little of everything great little store. Missoula is just a few minutes away and right across the road is a great fishing spot on the Clark Fork. There are a lot of permanent residents but we seem to find that wherever we go. These are a little run down but the park is still nice.

Just super rude people. Literally didn t even want us to make a reservation & tried to hang up on us. Park is adequate but upon making reservations and arriving the woman running the place was a witch. Store hours are inaccurate. Just get prepared to be annoyed and disrespected.

Older RV campground. Nothing to rave about. Everything looks old and tired. Laundry has 4 washers, 4 dryers, 1 dryer out of service.Restroom/showers cleaned 3x per week.Lots of signs posted around. "All dogs must be on leash at all times," except for the 3 ankle biters belonging to the owner. Walking your dog while they're running loose is an adventure.Fishing and river access for small boats across the road.

DO NOT STAY HERE. Had the unfortunate experience of living with my mom for about a month while i got back on my feet (Single dad with 2 kids moving from out of state) at this place. And within 3 days of being there i was already being told that i ran the stop sign and speed through the park everyday. All of which i didnt do and everyone who lived at the park witnessed me not do. And by a week being there i was told to leave because she didnt like my attitude or my kids running around the park. She knew in advance that i was coming with my 2 kids aged 3 and 2 with nothing to live there for a little while and still kicked all of us out within a month of being there. My mom had a lease with her and i was paying her rent and being completely respectful of her and her park but she told me she just doesnt like my attitude or my kids. I even begged her to let me stay just untill i found i place which was the plan in the first place that she agreed to but she did not listen sent me rude letters everyday and harassed my mom untill i left. I had no where to go and was homeless with my kids for almost a month before i found a place and she knew that my kids would be on the street too but she is legitimately crazy. She will harass you for any reason if you look like you are from somewhere else and she is just a really crabby lady in general. If i could give 0 stars i would. And here are some of the letters she wrote and stuck to my moms door. Again she knew and was ok with me coming and took a copy of my license and everything. I highly recommend you go anywhere else besides here. Ps. kathy if you read this i hope someone gets sick off your old expired food that you sell for twice the price

Great place for your RV outside of Missoula. We stayed for two nights. Easy pull-thru spots and clean. Picnic bench and fire pit. Quiet place with some full time RV residents, not to much going on for entertainment. Best part is river within walking distance and you can buy your fishing license at the on-site market.

Stopped here for a one night stay while traveling with my disabled veteran brother. Before staying i had called ahead and asked if there was room for my brother to park his truck and utility trailer they said yes, park near the office. We arrived at 9 pm i couldn't see a spot near the office where he coukd park without blocking th road. The park was half full so i just had him park in the spot next ours. The next morning i am in the office and the RUDE owner informs me i am being charged for two spots despite the fact i had 1. Cleared our situation the night before. 2. My brother us a disabled combat veteran with handicapped plates. 3. The park was at 50% capacity, 4. We only used 1 spot as an rv spot. Do NOT RECCOMEND THIS PLACE.

First off this RV site was not our fist choice but with little options we booked it for two nights on our way to Glacier National Park. The sights are raised gravel pathways that are very uneven. I had to dodge a huge over grown bush that needs to be trimmed to get into our spot. Once we got set up we tried to get onto the WiFi which has a password that was not offered on check in. We also couldn't find a cable hook up anywhere. I drove up to office asked for the WiFi code and about the cable. The lady looked at me like I was bothering her. She wrote down the codes to the WiFi and rudely said "we don't have cable". The thing that trumps it all was how RUDE the lady was about the speed of my vehicle. There are signs everywhere with 5mph. I followed those instructions maybe going 6mph tops. This lady had the nerve to walk her crotchety old butt down to my RV to tell me she has watched me fly in here and not stop at the stop sign. The only stop sign was for check in. I know why it was so cheap to stay here full timers that are making the park trashy and crotchety old lady. Will never stay here again and would not recomened this place to anyone else.

The worst customer service ever. She didn t like that I asked what her cancellation policy was and asked me why, are planning on cancelling? When she asked how many people would be camping I said either four or five and because I didn t have a straight answer she said, when you figure it out call back! She promptly hung up on me. I immediately called back in disgust and no answer x2. If I don t pay until I m there why does it matter if I have two or three kids with me for the reservation? I had told her I wanted to book two sites too. I ve never been treated like this and was in shock a business hung up on me. Just horrible, so unfriendly, so unprofessional and very unusual for Montana.

Turah campground is very nice. Pull through sites with full hookups. Clean showers and laundry. Full store in site along with gasoline. Right across from a river access. Rates are great and if you are military you receive a discount. Plan on staying here again.

I thought the lady was nice. Beautiful area. I would have rated it a 5 except for a few run down permanent RV ers with barky dogs. They weren t that bad but should be noted. Super convenient store on premise and clean restrooms.

WOULD DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN - June 10-13, 2021 - Rate (including tax) $45 per night - Long pull through site with 10-15 ft. between - Very clean and nice kept campground - lots of green grass and vegetation - restrooms were clean - GREAT shower area with nice sized dry area for changing - Nice showerheads and water pressure - Nice large grassy fenced in area for both kids and dogs to play in - Store with a decent variety of offerings - we walked over to the river and walked from the center out to each end of path, only .9 miles from our camper for that total trip but was a nice little getaway - read reviews after we got here and do not agree with the rants about owner, she was pleasant - The dogs she has do run without being tethered and do bark some but are not really a nuisance - The interstate and train noise was not an issue
