We booked the Rec Room (multiple beds and private room) 2 months in advance of our trip. When we showed up Rachel the owner said they had someone staying in the Rec room so she threw us in a musty old camper that was very uncomfortable. She did not apologize and did not offer a refund for the nice room we paid for. I told her we needed our money back which she then agreed to but she was very rude. I would recommend any other camp ground in Cameron or West Yellowstone over Driftwaters.

The customer service was excellent. Staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We arrived from West Yellowstone with no notice and very unprepared. They offered to get us the groceries we needed which allowed us to fish the Madison that evening instead of driving all s the way to Ennis! Pretty incredible. The location is ideal for fishing the Madison, they are just a 10 minute drive up or down the highway to the many state fishing access sites and are smack in the middle of the wade only section. They are very dog friendly and very accommodating. They even have fish shaped wader hooks outside the door!10/10 would go again.

We were unimpressed. Great views and closer to Yellowstone yes but that s the extent of the positive items. Upon arrival someone else was on our site and the owner of the campground was not on location so we didn t get checked in until days later. We picked this place due to the understanding that they had strong Wi-Fi, well think again, you could stream TV but we could not work on Microsoft Teams at all and there was no cell service aside from Verizon so our MiFi s weren t an option. Loose dogs were a constant and one even came after our leashed dog. Then we had a delivery shipped with our site number on it and the owner failed to tell us it arrived and was not on location again when we walked around in attempt to find our delivery. Also it s worth mentioning the restaurant up front is closed for remodel and there is not a store, gas station or any civilization for more than 30mins in any direction.

Great base camp for Yellowstone and the Tetons. Very welcoming friendly folks running the place. There's even a restaurant on site serving all kinds of yummy food with a full bar and nice patio with view of the mountains. Good water pressure and hookups. Easy in and out with all pull through sites. Lovely place to stay!

Absolutely 10/10 customer service from Driftwaters Resort. We decided to stay pretty last-minute and weren t prepared with any food or groceries for the night/next morning. The owner s husband was in Ennis for the day and she insisted that he could grab a few groceries for us before he came home. Everything was outstanding: the king bed was warm and comfortable, the water was hot and the kitchenette in the cabin was well-stocked. And as an added bonus, there was no extra pet fee for our dog. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Needed a close spot for the night to visit Yellowstone the next day. $54/night was a little expensive. No shade. Sites are pretty close to each other but showers were very nice and clean and free. The restaurant has good pizza and beers with a front porch dining area which was lovely. Little store in the office and friendly management.

In the process of checking in for our two night stay, the staff informed us that the area was under a snow warning and that we might be snowed in for longer than our stay. We had a tight schedule to stick to, and were just passing through, so the staff recommended we keep driving up to Billings to outrun the snowstorm. We were unprepared in not checking the weather ahead of time and were so incredibly thankful for their OUTSTANDING staff. We will definitely be back to actually stay this time. Cannot recommend the people and atmosphere enough!! Gorgeous area!

Booked an overnight with Rachel, arrived to a ready spot with zero problems. We were able to pay quick and easy using our credit card but it did require50 amp hookup, threaded sewer connection and 45 p.s.i. freshwater connection is what we booked, expected and what we received. Our site was reasonably level and made up of firm, compacted gravel.Driftwaters Resort also offers free WiFi which provided a reasonably strong signal and appreciable data transfer speeds. This was nice as T-Mobile had only one bar and there s no digital or RF TV reception via Winegard Connect. The site s dimensions offered enough room for our stay (40 Class A pulling a toad) but might be considered close by boon docking or camp site standards. If you need a place with easy Big Rig access to recharge your fresh water tanks, dump your grey and black tanks and download your movies and email, for $50 a night on a holiday weekend, we found Driftwaters Resort a great choice as others will.

The campground was fine. Our low rating is based solely on the poor customer service we received. We experienced their customer service at their worst. These people don't stand by their word. They were also unwilling to compromise with us. They didn't care that we left unhappy. We prefer to do business with people that we can trust in and truly care about their customers. Management and owners also need to get on the same page.

Really enjoyed our stay at Driftwaters. We rented Cabin 1 & 2. There is a shower house for campers and RVers that was very clean, laundry facility (coin machines) and office with a few supplies. The management was extremely helpful. This is a no-frills resort offering a good value. The restaurant (different owners from resort) was great to have on site. We also used Yellowstone Hiking Guides for two hikes - Geyser & Canyon. Their offices are next to the resort. Spectacular views with relaxing charm.

We stayed here in between our travels from Yellowstone to Whitehall and had some days inbetween reservations. We were in need of FHU after about 10 days of boon-docking in the Tetons and Yellowstone. Not a ton to do for kids so I gave it 4/5 stars, but one of the workers let them use their dvds which I appreciated. Their restaurant had delicious pizza, and given there is no town or groceries nearby one of the workers was SO kind to get coffee creamer at the store for me! Amazing customer service! We drove to Cliff and Wade lakes per a workers recommendation and it s beautiful! Did not use showers so cannot speak to that but their workers seemed on top of their jobs!

Honestly I was shocked by this place, based on just the park experience it would be 4 stars, but the views! So beautiful! And so incredibly quiet as well, the mountains were just right there all nice and snow covered. And at night the stars are just AMAZING! I really enjoyed my stay there.

4.5Cost: good deal ( much cheaper than Yellowstone area )Caller signal: good 2-3bar for att/Verizon , sometimes unstable for t mobile thoughOthers: Laundry room is clean and open 24hrs. Food from the on site restaurants is delicious ( we tried pizza and steak ). The only complain is no near by the grocery and gas station and not very close to the river.

This was my first visit to Driftwaters Resort in a camper and I really enjoyed my stay! The grounds were well kept and the bathrooms were very clean. The restaurant had a nice selection of wines and the food was excellent. Fresh ingredients and affordable. My favorite was the Bleu Cheese Hamburger and the Mediterranean Pizza! We were there on Thursday, which happened to be Mexican night and there was live music and a good crowd! The owners are so open and friendly.

Great restaurant and bar. Beats anything we've had in our short trip to West Yellowstone by a mile. If you are in the area and want to get out of the tourist trap scene, Driftwaters is well worth the drive north.

Driftwaters Resort is the place to be if you love fishing, camping, hunting, hiking or anything outdoors and need a place to stay. They take very good care of the place, the bathrooms are always super clean and they are happy to try and accommodate anything you need! Not to mention their food at the restaurant on site is AMAZING, we always look forward to getting the Bang Bang Fries whenever we go! 10/10 recommend! :)

Driftwaters was the perfect base camp for West Yellowstone. Between the prices, hospitality and clean facilities, it s hard to beat. They even have a little restaurant on the property that has live music on weekends. Cutest little place, would stay there again.

My wife and I stayed here in early June, for a couple nights. One of the best (tent) camping experiences that we had, all summer. Very clean, very affordable, and most of all, very friendly! The shower rooms/restrooms are super clean and have everything that you need. The office/store has most of the items that you'd expect. The Driftwood restaurant and bar has GREAT food at a really great price.A few more trees would be nice, but overall wouldn't have improved our experience.

Wonderful place, run by Rachel who is overwhelming kind and thoughtful. I am bicycling across of the USA and just happen to stop here for the night. Clean, quiet relaxing and very beautiful area. Of all of the sights I've seen the ride down 287 is one of the more beautiful. The history of the area and how Quake Lake was formed just half a century ago is remarkable. If you're in the area, this is an affordable option a short drive from greater Yellowstone area. I've stayed many places and the people and environment made me feel the most at home yet. Thank you Rachel, along with the rest of your kind staff.

This is a great place that is dog-friendly, has a very friendly staff, reasonable rates and offers a great location for doing all the things this area has to offer. Only 30 miles from Yellowstone west entrance without any of the crowds. We cannot wait to come back here again!

Small restaurant. But was pleasantly surprised food was very good. Service was excellent. They do have a small bar, and full bar service. Doesn't open till 4:30. We went twice while staying in the rv park and they seem to be very busy every night.

Beautiful views. Loyal owner and staff. Inexpensive great for long stays. Wonderful restaurant. Great internet which is a good thing as our Sprint Broadband did not work but had great service from ATT and Verizon.
