I recently had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful hotel in the area, and it was an experience worth sharing. The hotel's standout feature is its pet-friendly policy, which was complemented by the exceptionally warm reception from the staff, making both me and my pet feel incredibly welcomed. The hospitality provided by the hotel staff was remarkable. They were not only friendly but also went out of their way to ensure that my stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Their insights and tips about local attractions and eateries were invaluable and greatly appreciated.Cleanliness is a priority for this hotel, and it shows. Every part of the hotel, from the guest rooms to the public spaces, was spotlessly clean, adding a level of comfort and reassurance to my stay. The complimentary breakfast offered by the hotel was another highlight. It was a fantastic spread with a variety of choices that catered to different dietary preferences, ensuring a great start to the day.Overall, this hotel is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting this area, especially for those traveling with pets. The cleanliness, hospitality, and amenities like the free breakfast make it a standout choice. I wholeheartedly recommend it for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

While journeying through this region, I was pleasantly surprised to stumble upon a hidden gem of a hotel, nestled in an unexpected location. The hotel's charm was immediately apparent, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere that stood out in the area. One of the highlights of my stay was discovering that the hotel is pet-friendly. As a pet owner, this was a delightful surprise, especially because the staff at the reception welcomed my furry companion with such genuine affection and warmth. It's rare to find a place that not only accepts pets but also celebrates their presence with such enthusiasm. The hosts of the hotel deserve a special mention. Their hospitality was exceptional, making me feel at home from the moment I stepped in. They were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their local knowledge was invaluable, providing me with tips and recommendations that enhanced my experience in the area.Additionally, the hotel offers a complimentary breakfast which was a delightful way to start the day. The variety and quality of the food were impressive, catering to different tastes and dietary needs. It's evident that the hotel places a high value on providing a good start to their guests' days.Another aspect that stood out was the cleanliness of the hotel. Every corner of the property, from the rooms to the common areas, was impeccably maintained. This attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness added a layer of comfort to my stay.Given my wonderful experience, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. Whether you're traveling with pets, looking for exceptional hospitality, or simply in search of a clean and comfortable place to stay, this hotel is an excellent choice. Their commitment to guest satisfaction is evident in every aspect of their service

I had an employee stay here on 2/6/24 the price of the room total was 70.55. 3 days later on 2/9/24 my credit card recieved a 300.00 charge. I called and was assured, they didn't know why it was charged and would processs a refund. Waited 2 weeks. No refund. Called and talked to Taylor who explained, the refund was processed incorrectly, but would make sure it was processed correctly. Currently over 1 month, and still no refund. I have disputed the charge on my credit card. Be aware and watch you cards after staying here.

Friendly enough staff and good enough room in good enough building. Accommodating to dogs which is nice.Hotel immediately smelled like cigarette smoke. Building and room are showing their age with ripped carpet, beat up walls, toilet that requires to jiggle the handle, sink faucet that drips unless you put it down with force, bed has a spring of different size than the mattress. One staff member was smoking literally one foot from the front door when I was returning from a walk.

I was traveling through this area and was surprised to find a gem of a hotel here. The best thing is that they are pet-friendly and, surprisingly, the reception showed great affection. They offer free breakfast and the best thing is that they are very clean. I highly recommend this to anyone in the area and thank you for the stay.

Would give no stars if it was possible. THEY STOLE 102.65 BUCKS FROM US. CHARGED FOR 2 NIGHTS. NEVER NEVER NEVER STAY HERE EVER.I ha e stayed at alot of motel and this one is at the top 5 of worst ones.110 bucks for a room with 2 beds. They was uncomfortable as heckSheets had stains on them. Bathroom sink leaked the ac didn't seem to work if at all.The breakfast was even worse. Nothing to choose from. They have a waffle maker and they had no spare for it so the waffles stuck badly. The TV was from the med 2000s volume didn't work on remote only got like 10 channels. The towels in the bathroom was stained. We would have been better off to just sleep in our van or spent 50 more bucks and stayed at another motel.Avoid at all cost.....

I recently stayed at your motel in rocker Mt. Guy that waited on me was gabbing on the home while I'm waiting to checkin . He had person on speaker they spoke foreign language with each other. Another guy was standing behind desk and processed keys while the other one continued gabbing with a woman . Very poor customer service. He should not have been on a personal call while checking in guest, it was rude for him to do that. The room was ok there was a lingering musky smell in room.

We stayed at this hotel several months ago. Upon arrival the first thing I noticed was the black mold on the outside of the building, my husband was already inside getting the room. I pointed it out but unfortunately it was late so we decided to stay anyway. We had booked through a third party and they tried to collect again at check in. My husband refused and said he had pd online. They did swipe the card for incidentals and we kept a close eye on our acct the next few days. As I entered the lobby instantly there was a smell that literally took my breath away. Once in the room it smelled a bit better , my first thought was thank God the carpet was removed, the floor looked clean until I went into the bathroom and saw what looked like dribbles in front of the toilet, I used a wash cloth to clean it and found the floor to be disgustingly filthy, my husband continued to wipe the floor into the room and the white cloth was black. I never touched the floor with my bare it was so bad. Also to top it off in the morning we went to take a shower and there was no shower curtain. We could feel the springs in the mattress, and noise inside and outside. We were not comfortable most of the night. My husband ran into the housekeeper in the morning and WOW she was far from a professional hotel housekeeping employee.Run away fast find a different place to stay.Noteworthy details: Conveniently located. However read reviews...we learned our lesson with this place.

Husband stayed here Saturday October 7. Got to room and went right to bed as he was leaving early next morning. After being asleep about an hour he was awoken by two people entering the room. He yelled that the room was occupied and they quickly left. The security lock on the inside of the door was set but did not work. Tried calling front desk but phone did not work. Went to the front desk to be told it was a computer error. Same girl that checked him in also checked in the other couple. Left his card for the manager to call, but never got a call back. Contacted the main company. If you want security DO NOT stay at this hotel.

Check in was a bit slow with the front desk worker missing for a few minutes (would have been nice to have a bell or number to call to avoid standing there awkwardly). The room was adequate - it was clean and smelled fine. However, the shower took a solid 3 minutes to warm up. You could feel the springs in the bed but you could do worse. Breakfast was a let down with there being a waffle iron but no waffle mix (I got breakfast right at 6 though, so perhaps they don't put it out until later?). The yogurt in the breakfast was well within expiration date and tasted as expected; coffee was decent. Overall, you are staying here for the price and freeway convenient location - keep your expectations at bay and you'll be satisfied.Walkability: McDonald's is within willing distance.

This place is far from the Red Lions I am use too. The rooms had holes in the walls no chair for the desk curtains down on the luggage holder. Not a great experience at all. There was a sign EVERYTIME I WENT BY THE FRONT DESK SAYING WE STEPPED AWAY FROM HERE FOR A SECOND. Honestly I think the workers lived there! Do not stay here if you expect the Red Lion Experience..

Ok, so this is a hotel that does monthly rates. If you've ever had to stay at one that offers monthly rates then you already know what I'm about to say. For those of you who have not, it's not exactly the best choice if you're on vacation. However, the room was very clean. There was no AC, that I could find, and it only had baseboard heating. It's as cheap of a room as you can get but at least it was clean... Very clean. I wouldn't leave any valuable items in your vehicle even if you lock it up. I didn't have any issues but I was only there one night. The staff was very friendly as well. Although the one thing that I didn't like was upon arrival the whole hotel reeked of weed. I don't mind the smell for a little bit but it was really strong and it just lingered. It also permeated all 3 floors. Which is why I gave it 3 stars. I would have given 4 just for the cleanliness alone. But that smell was too much.

This hotel was disgusting. Usually when I hear Red lion I get a pretty good experience however this time was not the case. My room's floor was very sticky, the hallway carpet was very dirty, and the odor of stale cigarettes was profound. Breakfast was less than continental. And lastly the elevator stopped working and we had to bring our family member in a wheelchair down the stairs and make multiple trips to empty our room because carts and stairs don't mix

The worst service I have ever received at a hotel. I think the person working the check in desk spoke a total of 10 words or less to us. He was busy speaking about giving his coworker a talking to and gossiping with the other lady working. They were also complaining about the hotel being full. Very unprofessional behaviour and we did not feel welcomed at all.The rooms themselves were fine no frills but it was clean.

I wish my television would have changed channels. It was stuck on an ad for sports. I was kinda confused that there wasn't a shower curtain. I slept well some loud noise from upstairs. Is to be expected.Nearby activities: Casino and gas station with MC Donalds. Was nice got some free beer.

This is a nice hotel for the price. Nothing fancy. The bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom were clean. The doors close slowly so no doors closing in the middle of the night. The Saturday breakfast was nice. The staff met our every need.Rooms: The rooms were very simple, but met my needs. The bed was comfortable and clean. There was a TV. The one downfall, they do not have a coffee maker, had to go down to the lobby for that first cup. The rooms were very quiet despite being close to the highway and a truck stop

Bedding is thin and beds are not very comfortable. Had to ask twice for towels that were not in our room when we checked in. Our key card timed out after our first night so we had to go back to the desk to have it reset! Breakfast is sketchy at best and no one refilling or monitoring the room so the cleanliness is suspect. However is was easy to find off the interstate.FURTHER:Check out was nonexistent. There was no attendant available. My credit card was charged an additional $1.00 each day of the stay with no explanation. I left a request for an emailed receipt but have not received anything.

I recently had the misfortune of staying at Red Lion, and I must say that it was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences of my life. From the moment I stepped into my room, I was greeted with an overwhelming stench of cigarette smoke that permeated every corner. It was evident that the hotel did not enforce strict no-smoking policies, leaving me to endure the unpleasant odor throughout my stay.Furthermore, the lack of basic amenities only added to my frustration. Can you believe there was no soap provided in the room? I was astounded to discover this major oversight. Hygiene is a fundamental expectation for any hotel guest, and the fact that such a basic necessity was neglected is simply unacceptable. To make matters worse, there was no refrigerator available in the room. This left me unable to store food. It's inconceivable that a supposedly reputable hotel would lack such a basic amenity. It greatly inconvenienced me and made my stay even more uncomfortable. The combination of the strong cigarette smell, the absence of soap, and the lack of a refrigerator made my experience at Red Lion incredibly frustrating and far from enjoyable. I felt like my needs as a guest were disregarded, and it left me questioning the hotel's commitment to providing a satisfactory stay.I strongly advise potential guests to reconsider staying at this hotel, as it clearly falls short in terms of cleanliness, amenities, and overall guest experience. There are numerous other establishments that prioritize customer satisfaction, and I would highly recommend exploring those options instead. Save yourself the disappointment and frustration by avoiding Red Lion at all costs!

Rooms are semi clean, beds you can feel all the springs, hotel rinks of cigarettes, if you stay long period you must ask to get room cleaned and it still may not get cleaned, they never have clean towels, laundry room doesn t work, ice machine doesn t work, elevator never works, manager always asks if you need to pay more thinking your stay is over(even though you just paid him), they will walk into your room randomly at late at night/early morning to see if it s empty(happened 5 times in 3 weeks). If you can t stay anywhere else then it s not bad but if you could avoid this place I would!

The rooms are clean, the beds are comfy, the hot water is hot, and the cold water is cold. No frills but not missing anything you can't do without.Staffed by a small, hard-working crew they were exceptionally helpful and personable. Down to earth: the best place to sleep in Rocker.

Just needed a place to sleep and a hot shower. Forced to book on line on the road because the phone couldn t/ wouldn t be answered. Arrived and was told it wasn t ready. Drove to a nearby fast food for a meal and returned. Was told to wait a few minutes because another guest had a cut and had blood on the floor of the office. What this had to do with checking in I don t know because the employee/ owner had time to wonder around and make himself a cup of coffee. After the guest with the cut finger was taken care of the employee now returned to checking me in. Another customer had arrived during this and stated you are next I guess. I replied yes after about 45 minutes and didn t get to finish my statement because the employee/owner interrupted saying it has not been 45 minutes don t lie, I cane show you the Vedic tape. I advised him I not going to argue with you several times he kept saying don t lie and finally got me checked in. In reality if you check the tapes I think you will find from the first time I tried to check in until I was checked in you will find it was well over an hour. As for the last two questions on the survey they can t be answered for lack of a correct answer.
