What a great job Alexander did taking care of a challenging exchange issue. Point of sale and inventory and exchanges could be very difficult sometimes and he handled it outstanding both with me as the customer and addressing the point of sale system quickly and with knowledge and the bottom line is I left very happy with my part. Great job. Highly recommend O'Reilly's of Butte.

Jami and David were fantastic in helping me with a problem while on a cross-country trip. They had the repair part in stock for my 22- year old truck. Super polite and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

Store advertises they open at 7am. Sticker on the door advertises the same 7am opening. One of their workers stared me right in the eyes at 7:05 am, before returning to the back of the store. I left at 7:10am, when he still had not returned to unlock the doors and let me in. I bought the light for my headlamp at Walmart instead. I have been providing customer service in some form, since I was a preschooler selling golf balls to golfers by standing at the fence. The young man, of late 20's to mid 30's w/ auburn to brownish hair wearing glasses and had a beard, needs to learn a thing or two about providing customer service. You have the doors unlocked by the time of the store's scheduled opening, and never leave your customer standing in winter temperatures ten minutes past the hour.Very unprofessional behavior and lost the sale, as well as, future purchases. There were two white trucks in the lot, presumably owned by the employees.

Fast and friendly Service and they back what they warranty. Carries most parts but can order and have what you require. Sometimes the next day.

Usually the service is alright.. If your a first timer you would think Jamie the Mgr was rude but with continuance of coming back she is not bad person.. today the young kid told me to use my phone for a part number.. OK thanks I will.. then my total is $36.75 for five items I then hand him a 100 bill and he comes back slaps a paperclip stack of fives at me and stares at me, so kindly I ask if he doesn't normally count back his money or what cause hey buddy it's not my till at the end of your shift short.. says nothing and continues staring at me so final question I have is can I at least get a bag ?? Great Customer Service today.. and your Mgr next to you says nothing.. attitudes are contagious people will come for the Customer Service they expect or know. and employees no different.. best of luck..

I needed bearings for my trailer and no one had the bearings I needed and if they did they were priced more than what I wanted to pay for. At O'Reilly Josh the salesman helped me. He had to do some digging to find what I was looking for and he found them and at half the cost, so I went and got two of each just to have a spare in case I need them in the future on the side of road. Customer service was great and the prices are great.

Good people and I can usually find what I want, but there is a lot of turnover at these auto stores now and the new help seems to always take way too much time to get change and the till taken care of. Always courteous, at least to me. Just don't get in a hurry.

We felt we should write a review for a O'Reilly's employee named Alex. Our truck had broke down on the interstate and we managed to limp into a rest area unaware that we also had a blow out. We called O'Reilly's and Alex (store 1565 @ 2220 Harrison Butte MT) answered the phone and we explained what was happening. We had no way to get to Butte to get what we needed and knew no one who could bring it to us. Alex said he would be happy to after he got off work. I said that would be awesome, we also needed some fuel to put into the filter. Alex got of work at 9:30. We had called AAA to change the tire it was just rim showing. We got that fixed and we were thanking God for Alex and the AAA guy. Alex came with his wife and daughters and he changed the filter started the truck but had no power Alex fixed that too. This young man who didn't know us from Adam came to our rescue. He followed us to the gas station to make sure we made it. What a wonderful young man with such a great caring, loving family. The kindness he gave us meant the world to us.A trip that should have taken 4 hours turned into a 17 hour drive, we still had 1 1/2 hour drive to our campground. We can never repay that kindness from a total stranger but we can pay it forward. God Bless you Alex and your sweet family, looking forward to seeing y'all in WV one day. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts. You are the kind of employee every business owner dreams of. Much love,Neil and Cat.

I have been doing business with O'Reilly Auto Parts for 18 years. Most of the time I have had a great experience shopping at their stores and using their products. However, over the past year I have noticed the quality of customer service going down exponentially. I have not experienced this at just the Butte location. I have noticed this lack of customer service in Billings and Great Falls as well. In all three locations I seem to be getting the wrong parts more and more frequently. These "mistakes," from the employees continually cost me time and money. However, today I called the Butte location 10 minutes before closing just to ask if they had break rotors for my car in stock. My intention was to pick them up in the morning. I was informed by Billy that the parts were in stock. I told Billy that I would pick them up tomorrow and to set them aside. Billy told me that I could get them if I got there quickly. I told him that I lived on the other end of town and there was no way I could not make it before closing time. Billy told me that the store would stay open so I could get the parts. I told him that I would be sending my wife immediately. My wife dropped what she was doing headed in that direction as I texted her instructions and part numbers to ensure that I did not receive the wrong parts. Five minutes after she left I called and spoke to Billy again and informed him that I would need to rent a flywheel puller and to send it with my wife when she got there. He told me that it was pulled and the rotors were waiting. My wife arrived four minutes after closing to locked doors and to employees that would not even walk up to the door to listen to what she had to say. She told them through the glass that Billy had pulled the parts that were sitting on the counter for her. Both employees told here that the store was closed and hid behind that counter until she left without the promised parts. To be clear, my intention was to pick up these parts in the morning due to fact that I knew that I could not make it prior to closing. The only reason I sent my wife was based on the assurances of Billy that the store would remain open. This was the last straw for me and I will be taking my business to NAPA, Car Quest, or Auto-Zone. I am not some upset person who got mad because I tried to be a mechanic and failed so now I'm blaming the parts guys. I have been successfully working on my own vehicles for 18 years. If you want to roll the dice on O'Reilly Auto Parts in Butte I wish you the best of luck. This year I have gotten the wrong parts 33% of the time and the customer service is well below par. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration and shop somewhere else.

These guys are great! Beaverhead chevy bought my aftermarket part from them. Well, it was defective 65 miles later. Kreillys replaced the part when my own Chevy dealer refused. GM Butte is now at task fixing my truck. Next stop, rating GM Dillon(tba) and GM butte.

Just had an amazing customer service experience with Mathew who helped my son and I diagnose our car problem (crank sensor) replace and install a new one while juggling other customers this morning. Mathew understood the importance of our urgency as we are driving from Seattle to Rapid City for my son's college football and schooling and there are many long stretches of road where breaking down just can not happen. My biggest praise for Matt and his customer service and O'Reillys for having the part! Thanks guys and Go SD Mines Hardrockers Football!

I love this place I get all of my stuff that I need and I find that they are cheaper then other places I have gone to I do recommend this place to people that are looking for anything what ever you are looking for this place has it all so again I recommend this place to everyone. And the staff knows alot about cars and if they don't have what you are looking for they will tell you where you can try to get what you need.

I've always had good experiences at O'Reilly's, however, I got a power steering pump for a 97 Accord and the new part had a metric left turn thread nut for the spindle and the stock had a standard right hand turn. Now I cannot locate said nut for the replacement part and it didn't come equipped. Then they told me at the parts store that I was pretty much out of luck. so heads up on that one Gearheads, because they're not providing the hardware for those pumps apparently...GRCR
