Bill and Shop Boy (I didn t catch his name) , did a Great job and worked me into their busy schedule to get me back on the road . I had a serpentine belt go bad on my Motorhome . He installed the part at a very fair price and was a pleasure to do business with . I highly recommend LaVelle Equipment repair and Bill LaVelle !

Would never recommend this place the owner is very disrespectful and doesn't hold up to what he says he will do . I dropped a truck off to be worked on asked if I could please get a quote. Never got a call back, called later on to ask for one and was told I would have one by the end of the day (6 o clock). Never received a call. Called the next day about 9 and left a message never got a call back. Finally I went there to find out what was going on because I never got an answer on if he could fix it or a quote. The guy came out looked at me, I said I m here for a quote I was suppose to get one last night and never got a call back with one, he looked at me started calling me names and said he had a million other things todo. And told me to take the truck. I was on a time frame and the guy wasted a full day I could have had on finding another person to fix it. Personally if a business owner says he will do something he should hold up to it. He got mad that I expected him todo what HE said he would. Don t recommend shop. I never once talked to any of your employees other then the guy I gave the key to and I was very nice to him just walked him threw what happen. I did listen to what you said you said you would give me a call before then end of the day and never did. You are a liar. Not to mention when I called you I told you up front I had a time frame and if you couldn t do it to let me know and I would find someone.

Great guy to deal with. I was about 20 miles west of butte and my truck started running rough after picking up some bad fuel (fuel filters plugged). Pulled into town pump at rocker. Called LaVelle to see if they had the filters on hand and sure enough they did. I asked if they could be delivered to me, he said he ll send someone right over. Sure enough 9 minutes later I had the filters in hand.

This is a great place to do business. I'm in Texas and my truck was broke down in Butte, MT. They were there fast and fixed my truck in no time. They could have charged me a lot of money but were very honest and was more than fair with their charges. Really I don't think they charged me enough but I wasn't going to argue. I will use them any time i'm anywhere close to them.

I appreciate the work, but let's be honest labor to install an alternator $525 + $39.38 shop supplies.... $564.38 for installation.. like I said, I appreciate doing the job, but that's outrageous... thanks anyway. I'm entitled to my opinion, as you are to yours.. we can agree to disagree.

My father in law had a transmission go on his truck on a Sunday and called LaVelle to see if they could get him in. The owner called right away and met with him to road test the truck. They got the parts ordered and shuffled their schedule to get him back on the road as quickly as possible. The people in Butte treated him so well as he had to spend a week there. Thanks for your great work!

Called early, got service truck to meet us to confirm trailer would make it to shop. Got to shop as soon as possible, work started on trailer quickly. If you want a latte while waiting, go to the dealership. If you want honest, hard working men, then this is the place for it. Trailer suspension was essentially rebuilt on the drivers side, including loosening the u-bolts to allow the axles to shift back into place. I helped where I could, and the guys were still working on other rigs when I left. Good guys, fair pricing

I called this shop at a little after 8 am, told them that my transmission had gone out. I gave Bill the model number of the transmission, he made a couple calls and called me back to inform me that the transmission would arrive that same afternoon. They got my truck in the shop as soon as I arrived and had me rolling out the same afternoon before 6pm. Fantastic service . Thanks Bill and all the staff at LaVelle.

We were passing thru Butte on the way to Couer d Alene and had a problem with our parking brake switch. We were given the name of LaVelle Equipment as we were calling in the area for help . Bill said they were busy but he told us to come by and he would try to take a look at it. He did an absolutely amazing job.. He was so helpful and knowledgeable and quicklly got us back on the road again. So appreciative and thankful!Service: Brakes

Giving them 1 star only because you can't submit a review with ZERO!!! This shop is nothing but crooks. Truck broke down on Monday 8/20, we called and they said they could get to it right away so we had it towed there. All they did was find out the turbo was done and ordered the wrong turbo. They have awful communication. We called and told them to stop working on our truck and they sent us a bill of a little less than $1200. They charged us a $657 restocking fee for the wrong turbo that they ordered. When I know for a fact that CAT doesn't have a restocking fee until after 30 days. Avoid this place, horrible horrible!!!!

Nothing but great experiences on numerous occasions. This shop has talented mechanics. They accurately diagnose, openly communicate, and quickly navigate the repair. The owner is a personable guy connected to the community and dedicated to all his customers. I strongly recommend Lavelle Equipment Repair!

Had trouble with regen system. It was after hours on a Friday night. They called mechanic to meet me at shop, reprogrammed my truck, went thru a regen at shop. Excellent mechanic, super nice people to deal with. No problems with truck since. Been about two months. Will definately keep their number in phone for future and have referred other drivers to them. Very satisfied with service and how I was treated.

Will never give this place my business. An employee almost ran my car off the road during a snowstorm on purpose. When we pulled over to let him pass, he tried to side swipe my car. I wouldn't be so mad but my 1 year old daughter was in the car.

Great company. Had an engine overhauled, then had a problem 500 miles down the road and they are in route to fix it. Hope I never have to, but i would use them again. Bill is a top notch mechanic.

My cap from coolant tank broke close to their shop, i stopped and ask if they have it .for adding a half gallon of cooland and putting the cap they charge $170 . Avoid this place

This place is a joke. Actually got cussed by owner for getting a time when he'd be done. Then he charged me $250 for about 15 minutes of work. NEVER AGAIN.
