I am so happy that I found this shop. After being told I would have to wait a week to have my car looked at by the dealership, I called Headframe Auto. They got my car in, diagnosed and repaired the same day, and for a very reasonable price. They will be my first call from now on.

I took my 94 Chevy S10. Pick up in to get the heater core replaced. They had to pull the dash - out to get to it. And they broke my -dash in 3 places. And I had 3 Indian Head pennies. That weren't worth more than two cents a piece that was taken out of the console and no where to be foundd

We were leaving Butte to head home to Calgary Alberta when we noticed something going wrong with car heating/cooling ! We pulled in to Headframe Auto Repair and were welcomed by James. He took a look at our car and figured out what was wrong. Our car was fixed in a couple hours. We were so grateful James squeezed us in even with a full schedule. We own an auto repair shop in another state and know the ins and outs of getting repairs done in a timely manner. Headframe Auto has worked on all four of our vehicles and has done a great job! Their communication and timeliness is appreciated and noticed. Highly recommend for all your vehicle needs.

These fellas didn't bs me, they didn't overcharge me, and most of all they're professionals. If I need an auto repair job done in Butte, this is the only place I'll go. Thanks headframe and employees, you guys are awesome.

If my experience today is an indication of how they treat their customers, I would give this shop a 5-star rating! I went in believing I would need an expensive repair on my truck (based on what another mechanic diagnosed) and they determined that replacement was unnecessary. They did the necessary alignment and sent me on my way with extra dollars in my pocket! Not too many shops would do this. Honest, courteous, and very thoughtful. DO NOT do business with this place- bought a truck from him and gave me the wrong title, still trying to get a title for a vehicle I bought from him months ago and he ignores my calls and texts. NOT REPUTABLE.

BEWARE: this place just ripped me off. I'm passing through the area and needed my serpentine belt replaced. Called around and this was the only place that could fit me in today. The owner Ryan was courteous and I was appreciative that he could help on short notice. I dropped off my van and forgot to get a quote, realizing my mistake but thinking it would be okay. The belt costs $30 at the auto parts store and the work should take half an hour at most. He charged me $60 for the belt and 1.5 hours labor at $95 per hour, $220 total. The average cost for a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 serpentine belt replacement is between $131 and $159. Labor costs are estimated between $91 and $116 while parts are priced between $40 and $43. He told me it was an expensive high quality belt from Napa. I drove straight to Napa and two employees looked at that belt and said it was not from Napa and would cost $25. One of the employees was a mechanic and said it would have taken him 20 minutes and he would have charged me $100 total. I went back, trying to offer him the chance to make it right, trying not to be rude and reiterating that I appreciated him fitting me in, but he said he went off the "book" for labor cost and every mechanic marks up the price for parts. I went back to ask his name for the review and he said "Ryan, do you want me to write it down for you?" Learn from my mistake and don't go here!
